Hands down best coffee I've ever had. I ordered the creme brûlée laté and it wasn't overly sweet nor was it watered down like a lot of the cafes that I get my coffee from. I also ordered the twisted grilled cheese sandwich which is a grilled cheese with apricot jam and bacon. Sounds weird right? It was honestly pretty good. A nice mix of sweet and savory. If you want to be a little more on the safe side, we also ordered the turkey croissant sandwich (which had turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato and onion) and that was delicious as well. I wouldn't order breakfast there again. I had two eggs over easy, two pieces of bacon, country-fried potatoes and a cup of coffee. My sister had scrambled eggs, bacon, toast and coffee. Wit a 20% tip (and you better s your own table) it came to a little over $30. My eggs were okay but my sister's lacked any seasoning. She also received dry toast. She had to ask for butter and salt. The bacon was limp. The coffee was okay but about$3 each with no refills. I had their turkey avocado sandwich on a previous visit and that was plentiful and good. This is definitely not for coffee connoisseurs. Their coffee is not that strong and has too much milk. Even their Americano is pretty weak. So, you might want to up the shot intake in your drink. However, their food is always yummy, and the ambiance is great. I always stop by for a quick bite when I am out on this side of town. Staff is always friendly and I am always relaxed when hanging out here, which is a huge bonus. They also give military discount on all drinks. Love the couches and seating arrangement in the back. Because their food is great and the staff is friendly, I find that I am always stopping by. For this reason, I give them 5 stars! I enjoyed it even though I got breakfast-I usually don't like to take out breakfast-- but in these times Id prefer not to dine in-avocado toast with eggs and slice of chocolate cake to have later that day but I was so greedy I ate it with my breakfast. I took it home it was still warm and tasty. The cake was good but Im not the biggest fan of double chocolate; this one wasn't sweet enough or moist enough or something; Id probably get again though if they are out of the one that I want. I love this place. I used to come here to cram for my chem finals. I don't miss those days, but I do still love this place. It has a wonderful, modern yet comfortable, atmosphere, the staff are great people, and the food and coffee are to die for. I love their coffee called the "lucky Irishman." My favorite food it probably the quesadillas. I like how they let you personalize the quesadilla, and they make it fresh. There is even a little nook in the back that is quiet. There is a couch, and it is an ideal causal date location or a place to hang out with friends. I am absolutely in love with this coffee house. Inner Bean Cafe embodies everything true to a cafe. I'm not sure what your idea of a cafe is, but I've always imagined them as a small restaurant with coffee, tea, spoken word and a cool lounge area. We'll guess what, this is Inner Bean. Ok, so they don't have spoken word, but it's definitely an event that could be hosted at this cool spot. I dropped in an was welcomed by a combination of pleasant scents. I inhaled fresh brewed coffee, bacon, and a host of others. Inner Bean offers over 10 specialty coffees. They have lattes, cappuccinos, breve, americano, espresso shots and more. They offer a coffee of the day, which ranges from Mexico to Ethiopia. It may be hard to make up your mind, but you can't go wrong. If you are in the mood for some breakfast this place serves breakfast until 10:30am and has selections like oatmeal, bagels, pancakes, french toast and healthy choices. They also serve lunch items. I was up earlier than usual and decided to change up my morning routine. I had an amazing 12oz. Cafe Au Lait. They serve all drinks in mugs and it makes you feel all grown up. Lol. I also had a Blueberry Muffin with cream cheese. The seating area is nice with several seats and the service counter is located to the side. There is a large chalk menu board with bright colored chalk displaying all menu items. If you have trouble seeing anything, consult your Optometrist immediately. The space is decorated with beautifully framed wall are from various artists. The music is light and not too loud. If you don't want music, there is a great lounge area located in the rear. The lounge are is fitted with bright colored sofas and wing chairs. There are also a few 4ft. tables with chairs for a study group or meeting. Inner Bean has parking in front and the rear of the building, so finding a parking spot is not a problem. It's located right off the highway, which makes access a breeze. Overall, this is a cool spot for studying, meetings, work or just to get away. The owners are always here, which is great. They are personable and the staff always bring your items directly to you. I personally love a chance to leave my typical work space and do a little people watching. I'd without a doubt recommend Inner Bean Cafe to get your drink and watch on. read more

First, a story. We went in on a Saturday morning. Got there about 10:45am and saw the chalkboard sign for the breakfast menu: "Served Until 10:30am". Darn. We particularly left the house this morning to come here for breakfast, and glancing at the lunch menu just didn't hit the spot. Sometimes you're just craving breakfast, ya know? Anyways, when we got up to the cashier, we asked if the 10:30 also was for weekends, she said yes it was, and we were sad. Apparently we were noticeably let down, as the other staff member asked if we wanted breakfast. Both of us said YES! She was nice enough to check with the kitchen to see if they still had the breakfast stuff out. They said they can make breakfast, but it would just take a little longer. That was no problem with us. The hubby enjoyed his coffee, and I my smoothie, in the meantime. I really enjoyed the smoothie! I got a berry-mango blend. We both actually ended up getting the breakfast quesadilla with turkey sausage. Food was good, and very filling! And I really enjoyed the smoothie. I would come back here for those times I'm just craving s smoothie. Hubby enjoyed the dark roast coffee served in a large white mug. Not a great experience. After I waited in line for 10 minutes, I was met by the lady at the cash register who did not even say hello or welcome or "what can I get you" -- she stared at me, waiting for me to speak. When I asked her where to swipe my gift card, she just grabbed it from my hand and did it herself, clearly irritated with me. She then selected "no tip" rather than asking me what I would like to tip, which was a problem since I had no cash to tip. Such a comfy spot to study and pig out! I love that feel it gives off when you walk in. There's a homey feeling everywhere you look and the food tastes better than anything I can make at home. They've got quite an extensive breakfast menu but they stop serving breakfast around 11:00 I think. Their sandwiches are an impressive size and the soups taste amazing and put me in a food coma every time. If you're in a hurry, this is probably not the place for you. This place gets busy (especially on the weekends), and good food and drinks take time to make. They give you a number, invite you to take a seat and relax and join them for awhile. It's a nice excuse to get cozy, study, chat, and just feel like you're in your home away from home. The only downside is the parking lot. It gets so tight, I had to do a 4 point turn to get out of a corner spot and I drive a small sedan! I love the Inner Bean; it's one of my favorite places in Augusta, and I've lived here all my life. My favorite part is the "comfy room" in the back. It really feels like a cozy living room, and I love going there to curl up in a chair and read. I typically just get hot tea; they only have tea bags (not loose tea) but it's a good brand. I've tried a couple of their coffee drinks also, which are good. They have some fun combinations like banana foster frappe. Today was my first time going there for lunch, and it was AMAZING. I got a chicken asparagus wrap - grilled chicken, asparagus, mozzarella, and pesto - with a side spring mix salad with walnuts, feta, cranberries, and mandarin oranges. It was so, so good, and I can't wait to go back for lunch. They also have huge cakes. I've never tried them, but they look absolutely fantastic. Was looking for a place to grab a cup of coffee and found this local shop. They serve coffee and food but I had already eaten so decide on a medium Irish latte. I was not impressed with my drink. I don't like coffee but I love this little coffee shop! I've visited twice now for lunch and loved both of my sandwiches. On my first visit I tried the Turkey Avocado as a wrap instead of as a panini. (The women taking my order actually recommended the sandwich to me because that is one of her favorites!) The sauce that comes on the sandwich is extremely scrumptious! On my second visit I really enjoyed eating the Twisted Grilled Cheese. The jam on the sandwich is sooo good! Every grilled cheese I make at home going forward will have jam on the bread. They seem to have some awesome desserts as well. I've only tried the bread pudding and that was delicious so I would guess every other dessert wouldn't disappoint your taste buds. Reading up on business intelligence theory and venturing through Wal-Mart inspired an unexpected case of the munchies. So, with trusty smartphone in hand, I pulled up Yelp to save me from having to resort to skulking into a chain restaurant for sustenance. Fortunately, Yelp pointed me to this little gem tucked away in a relatively new building just a few yards away from where I was. In a very tastefully appointed bistro setting, the Inner Bean serves up a host of coffee beverages, breakfast distress, and lunch specials. I elected to get the Twisted Grilled Cheese with a side of their freshly made broccoli salad. I could not have gotten a better first impression of this new discovery. :-) Lovingly covered in apricot preserves and nestled between two slices of buttery grilled sourdough bread, the sliced turkey and bacon were made into a salty sweet flavor explosion in my mouth. It was impossible to put down once I started biting into this handheld portion of happiness. After finishing one half of the sandwich, I turned my attention to the broccoli salad. I was met with a very nice ranch and bacon andbroccoli slaw with whole, crisp florets, diced onion and shredded cheddar. It was a *great* departure from the sweet broccoli salads I've had to date. The food was good, not too expensive, and fairly healthy, unlike most of the local breakfast/brunch places. Incredible! This cafe ranks with some of the best I've been to. Wonderful coffee and drink creations. Quality breakfast food. At an extremely fair and affordable price. They provide discounts for military and students, which had me sold just based on principle. They also have loyalty cards for free drinks. The atmosphere is top notch with a front room full of quality art, comfy backroom, and quaint little patio. Even the hours are great as they are open until 7pm.
