I was recommended this cafe by a friend so I had great expectations. Sadly my experience definitely didn't live up to the hype considering all the great reviews I see here. Waited nearly an hour for a breakfast burrito and none of the staff was friendly, was not greeted by any staff all dead pan and rude! A lady behind me waited an hour for a hot chocolate! I could have let some of the wait slide If the girls had simply been polite with just a so sorry for your wait. When leaving a girl that worked there squeezed inside the door that she barely opened and then continued to let it shut right in my face. A whole new front staff is needed! First time here. I came here with my girlfriend. I got the mocha minty cane latte and twisted cheese sandwich with ham and bean soup. She got the green monster breve style and the spicy Italian chicken wrap with broccoli salad. Both sandwiches were great. The broccoli salad was delicious. The customer service is top notch. I ordered a standard meat and eggs breakfast, my 2 buddies placed similar breakfast orders. We all left happy and repeated visiting while we were visiting Augusta. I'm still trying to figure out how ya cook svrambled eggs like that..light and delicious! Oh! The coffee! The signature flavors, first day I ordered the creame brulee frap..Delicious! The atmosphere is good. It's really quite and peaceful if you want to just read, do your work or hangout with your friend talking (you don't need to yell to have your friend hear you) The bonus point is there is a back room with couch and sofa. I didn't sit back there when I was there the first time, but I'd definitely love to go back again and just relax back there. Me and my boyfriend ordered breakfast food which were alright. I got a turkey sausage sandwich. It is a bit pricey. I also had a hot chocolate which was pretty good. My boyfriend really loves their coffee, since I'm not a coffee person I wouldn't really know. According to him, it's pretty strong and it'll def perk you up of you need something to wake you up. The staff was alright, they seem friendly but we didn't have much interaction. I love RUCU's art! She does the chalk art and also works there I think? She is lovely! They have so many syrups to choose from, as well as a competent staff preparing drinks. I haven't had food here, but I enjoyed my iced latte. They have plant based milks to choose from as well. My only critique is that they give you a straw by default. I wish they would ditch recyclable plastics like straws as well as plastic ware in general. read more

Came here for breakfast Saturday morning around 8:30 and there just a few more patrons. We got the breakfast quesadilla with ham, French toast, coffee and a latte. The quesadilla was perfect!! The vegetables were really fresh and it was crisp, yet soft. The French toast was also excellent, light and fluffy... could've used a bit more cinnamon. The latte was also prefect, smooth and creamy. The staff was very nice and friendly. They have a nice eating area and a more lounge type area in the back that feels a bit like a living. The food came out quickly. Breakfast and coffee at the Inner Bean was delicious. I had the Bean breakfast, which included two eggs, bacon, sausage patties and bread of my choice. With a large coffee and tax, the price was just under $10. Can't beat it. The wifi works by the way and was easy to connect. Recommend! P.S. I was hesitant about going here at first because there wasn't that many yelp reviews and not much information about this spot. Also, because I am not from around here.But I am glad I decided to spend my money here. It's an awesome location to eat and have caffeine! I had the twisted grilled cheese with a side of broccoli salad. The grilled cheese had bacon and apricot jelly inside of it... And of course cheese. I love risks, and that risk was definitely a great combination! The broccoli salad was good as well. For some people, like my sister, who doesn't like raisins, I would say do not get the broccoli salad, but as for me, I enjoy dried fruit, so it had good flavor to me. It was absolutely delicious and filling. As for my drink, the lady at the counter recommended a mocha coconut.. And I decided to get it hot with soy. I do not like overly sweet drinks and this was the perfect medium for me. The inside of the store was clean and felt very warm and welcoming. The front part had a seating area with tables and chairs. There was also outside seating. The back had couches to lounge around and make you feel more at home. So I really liked the layout of the store. The workers were nice and sweet. And they didn't seem the fake kind of sweet.. They genuinely wanted you to enjoy your time there. Can I say how much this place made me smile? A California girl who found a great spot to eat and hang out here in Augusta. Maybe I enjoyed it because it reminded me of home. But, it really felt like the spots in CA that I go to.. Ordered cappuccino and got a 16-oz mug of steamed milk with *maybe* one shot of espresso. No foam to speak of Um...that's not a cappuccino. That's not even a proper latte! First off, I am a sucker for a sandwich and this place was great spot for one! My wife had lunch here earlier in the week and took me Saturday. For a "off the beaten path" location it had a very good crowd for in-between morning coffee and lunch. We entered through the back parking lot to where you can sit and relax with your drink on comfy couches. We ordered the club on wheat with broccoli salad (which I'm hoping was house made because it was great!) and the chicken salad on a honey drizzled croissant with pasta salad. Can't give a good enough praise on the quality of food. An excellent place for lunch and next I will go earlier to sample the coffee.
