I had an appointment scheduled between 12:00 PM and 12:30 PM, but no one showed up -- and worse, there was no call, no update, nothing. I tried calling multiple times, and each time I was routed to an AI assistant that promised a follow-up -- but now it's 5:30 PM, and I've heard absolutely nothing. This level of unreliability is unacceptable. I ended up calling a different cleaning service and was immediately able to speak to a real person and get help. Really should be ZERO STARS. This is absolutely the worst and most dishonest cleaning company. They will schedule you with the owner and cleaners who are detailed and thorough in the initial cleanings to earn your business. Afterwards, you consistently receive new cleaners who they just hired, are not experienced, and do not know your home or what your preferences are. The cleaners require constant supervision, reminders, and do-overs. Not the staff's fault--the company hires new workers for cheap and the staff turnover is high. Of course, the owner's shady practices led to a huge mistake: they brought in a new cleaner who damaged the marble in our shower and bathroom with some bleaching substance (after months of cleaning the marble with soap and water as a precaution). She acknowledged she did it and even tried to fix it. The owner also acknowledged the mistake. I gave them a quote for repair of the surfaces. After a long run-around, they refused to honor their work and responsibilities. Therefore, I plan on SUING them for a significant amount. For perspective, I vet my cleaners thoroughly and currently use two different cleaners for 2 properties. TL;DR: STAY AWAY from Innovation Cleaning and its owner Rodrigo. Save your time, energy and money. Update: the owner replied to my review in less than 5 minutes with a pre-written, cookie-cutter response. WORST cleaning ever. I really should have taken the other low star reviews seriously because I had a very similar experience. It's quite shocking that this "company" has good reviews and you'll see why if you continue reading. Like many others have experienced, the cleaners were very late. I had a cleaning booked for 1pm and the cleaners didn't arrive until 2:30pm. But I wouldn't have cared if they did their job. Upon arrival, I tried to give the two cleaners instructions on what needed to be cleaned and where to clean. I mentioned the carpets needed to be washed, and one girl said she would have to call her manager to get someone to come. As she was on the phone, I go upstairs to give instructions to the second cleaner, only to find her cleaning her gunk out of her teeth and washing it down in the sink! It was disgusting and a MAJOR HEALTH HAZARD, especially during a pandemic. I asked politely for her to not do that and she didn't seem to understand me and told me to talk to her manager. I should also add that NONE of the cleaners wore masks even though there are signs posted up everywhere saying masks are required upon entry. This was clear COVID VIOLATION, but I'm vaccinated and I remember reading somewhere that they did temperature checks so I decided to let it slide since they were already there. Anyway, half an hour later of them talking on and off the phone, a third cleaner with a carpet cleaning machine finally came and again had to talk to the manager. As he was inspecting the place, he got locked out and very AGGRESSIVELY shook the door handle, which I noticed recently, no longer works. I can't prove they broke the door handle so I won't say they broke it, but they definitely didn't treat my home with care. I eventually went outside to get some work done as they supposedly cleaned. The place was new and there is no furniture, so there wasn't much work to be done as the previous owners had already done some work like vacuuming and they left the bedrooms pretty clean. At around 4:30pm the cleaners alerted me on my phone that they are done and I come back only to see that everything still looks the same. It doesn't look like anything has been cleaned. The balcony still had leaves and spider webs and the garage had leaves and debris. I asked if they could mop the balcony and they told me they had NO MOP. What kind of cleaning company doesn't bring a mop? I started to wonder if they even cleaned the living room floor if they didn't have a mop, but I have gray laminate flooring so I couldn't tell. Anyway, I had to get back to work and regrettably paid the cleaners assuming they did some work so they would go. I tried to call the manager afterward to inform her of the very unsatisfactory job and she didn't pick up, but did reply via text. She said that the balcony and garage areas only included sweeping, which wasn't made clear in my correspondence. In my correspondence, they said they would clean those areas. You wouldn't hire someone to clean your house if cleaning only meant sweeping. Anyway, for the rest of the areas she said that she would have the cleaners come back the following Tuesday to re-clean. I sent a follow-up text confirming a time, but there was no reply to that text and nobody showed up on Tuesday. I ended up having to buy cleaning supplies and recleaning myself. You will see in the pictures all the dirt that was left over in my living room and cabinets. It was super disappointing that I had to go through this experience and paid $350 for a cleaning that clearly wasn't delivered. They are seriously unprofessional and do not have proper cleaning equipment. They literally bring a bag of rags with them. We scheduled for a move out cleaning service. They quoted us an estimate price but saw how much work needed to be done so we renegotiated the price. But came back to original price with less cleaning service. It did include deep carpet cleaning but we didn't need it. We told the cleaning crew that they can skip that part since the landlord is going to replace the carpet anyway. The time we scheduled the appointment was 11:30 am but they didn't show up until one hour later. Expect text messages the day before changing the time of your appointment. It was originally scheduled at 12 pm but changed to 2 pm then changed again to 11:30 am. However cleaners didn't arrive until 12:30 pm. Two ladies showed up. They were fast and efficient. Mainly did the restroom and kitchen plus the interior windows. All exterior of kitchen and restroom were cleaned. It was done within 2 hours. I will start off with these people work hard. Having cleaners allowed us to focus on other parts of the house that required attention. So now the story begins. I let this pass for a week because I didn't want to write a bad review. We scheduled a team to come in on Saturday. The cleaners came a bit late but it was fine. Before they started I walked them around and explained what was discussed with their boss and showed them text conversations of what was expected and what I didn't need them to clean. They then called their boss and price had to be discussed again because they said the house was more dirty than they expected and will take more time. We came to a price agreement and they start. We leave the house and an hour later I get a text, if it was ok to come back monday because they had another apportionment and won't be able to finish. So we said fine and they continued to work. Another hour hits and we get a call one of the cleaners cut himself while getting up from cleaning the oven and they had to go to the hospital. Ok fine. So then their boss tried to get another lady to come by herself to finish the job and I said let's just wait for Monday because I feel bad if it was only 1 person by herself cleaning till 10pm. Monday comes. Cleaners were late because the original team had car problems. Fine. Next team that came ask my husband if we had cleaning gloves. No. So they cleaned. They cleaned for about 9 to 10 hours they said. My husband went to check the house and it was ok. Not perfect said they couldn't remove stains from showers etc. Fine. So as they were packing up my husband was doing his rounds to lock up and notice things in the yard. A chair was moved and there was a towel. So before he left he said... "don't forget your towel" and smiled. Sounds like one or both of the workers decided to take a swim in our pool! My husband didn't make a big deal about it and they left. My frustration here is after the cleaning we went back to see the house again during the day since it was dark when they left. There were still cob webs, blinds were just switched the other direction and was not cleaned, and again the shower looked pretty bad. I shared photos with the owner and the response was our house is really dirty....people refused our work...shower stains would not come off...etc. we had other cleaners lined up but wanted to support a smaller business. We have had a move in/out deep clean before and it was never an issue even in worse conditions. I live in an apartment with old carpets and once in awhile have carpet cleaners come in. I am a very clean person with a very clean place (except for these carpets). I made an appointment and even sent pictures. I was told I would get a call Monday. No call. He texted me the price of $250 for a small two-bedroom apartment. He said 2 people will do the cleaning - $294.00 for the service and when I arrived, only one was doing it - and missed a lot. Schedule was moved at 1:30pm instead of 9:00am so carpet guy was in a hurry cleaning because it was past 5pm already. Carpet was soaking wet that they had to leave the fan overnight. A deep dust clean was a must after a major remodel covered by my landlord. Patricia showed up an hour early and handled the solo assignment in 5 hours for the 2-level home. She was thorough, responsive and delivered service with a friendly attitude, a breath of fresh air these days! She gets 5 stars herself, but I have to take 1 star off from the dispatch office for not initiating communication sooner when it appeared to be a no-show hours after the previously scheduled appointment due to the original cleaning crew getting into a car accident. I provide 1 star out of good grace. I hired the crew for deep cleaning two properties (the rental I moved out from and the new home I moved to). In both instances, the crew came unprepared to do a heavy clean, miscommunicated pricing as well. On the rental I moved out from I was quoted 500 including heavy carpet cleaning. They did not bring any adapter to connect the cleaning machine. The carpet was not cleaned and they still charged me 450 stating the carpet cleaning was an additional 150 dollars (which was not communicated to me earlier). I opted not to do the carpet clean. The couple who showed up to do a deep clean of my parents' house were on time and brought all the necessary cleaning tools. One caveat - they did not speak any English and only spoke Portuguese. I'd give this company about 2 stars. The company has pretty bad customer service. To start- their internal software system broke down the first two times we tried to use them and they therefore didn't show up the day they were supposed to come. They also didn't return our calls or text messages those days until well after the slotted appointment times---which was even more aggravating (wouldnt you be able to respond to phone calls/texts even if your online scheduling system broke down? maybe it all goes through a central server...I don't know). We decided to give them three chances -- which most people would never have done. My boyfriend is a small business owner himself and knows the challenges and pressures of running a small business and how upsetting it came be things out of your control go wrong (eg an internet server). So after they never showed the first two times, we decided to give them a third chance. But we were shocked the owner only offered a 15 percent discount given the former mishaps. At this point--as new customers who'd never used him before -- he should have offered this first time for free given how much trouble he'd already caused us. That to me is bad customer service and a bad way to try to get new people and grow a customer base. So he still charged us $200. That said, the cleaning woman who did show up (finally--on our third scheduled time) did a pretty good job. She did a very good job in the kitchen and bedroom and one bathroom -- though at the end of her four hour shift she seemed to be losing steam and didn't do a good job on our second bedroom or bathroom (we're in a 950 sq ft apartment-2 bed 2 bath). We also thought two people would have showed up as it was supposed to be a "deep clean." I had a very bad experience with Innovation cleaning service and I would NOT recommend using their services. I booked them for a move-in cleaning service because I used their service in August 2021. Back then they sent 3 people and they did a good job, I was satisfied. So I decided to book with them again. But this time I was extremely disappointed. The reasons I would not recommend them are as follows: - Not at all punctual: To start off with, the person they sent was 70 mins late. - Misleading information: In their messages to me, Rodrigo (the owner) said he is sending "his team". I assumed that would be at least 2 people, if not 3. He sent 1 person. This made the cleaning job for a 3 bedroom condo take way longer than it was supposed to. - Lack of time and therefore not a thorough job: The cleaner had spent almost 4 hours at my home already and only did the basic cleaning. He did not clean the light fixtures and baseboards, and I didn't have the time to ask him to do it (it was move-in day for me) and I didn't want to spend another few hours waiting for one person to do it. This would've been a lot simpler if there were 2 people who came to clean. When I asked Rodrigo about this, he said fuel prices have changed and there was inflation so he couldn't send more than one person. This should have been mentioned to me when I made the booking. - Missing services: The deep clean included a carpet shampoo, which was not done because the cleaner assumed it was clean. Sure, it didn't look dirty but that doesn't mean I don't want the carpet shampooed. Rodrigo offered to send somebody to shampoo the carpets the next day but I had moved in already and had my furniture/boxes all over. The carpet cleaning wouldn't have been convenient at that stage after I moved in. - No covid precautions: Granted it is July 2022 and most people are vaccinated. But the cleaner did not wear gloves or a mask. I am immunocompromised, and I want to be extra cautious so I don't think it's an unfair ask. I messaged Rodrigo after the cleaning to talk about this. He was just rude, he didn't even apologise. He said he'd send me a $50 refund for the carpet cleaning/services that weren't done. But he did not. I waited 8 days to post this review just to give them a chance, but Rodrigo has stopped answering my calls. I am terribly disappointed. The only good thing I can say is the guy who came to clean was polite and smiley. He didn't complain and did what he was asked (like I asked him to redo some cabinets which were still sticky, and he did it without complaining). Edit: shortly after posting the review, the owner reached out to apologise and send me the $50 refund. He was polite and not vengeful. This was the best cleaning i have ever had. I had them clean just one bedroom and bath of my two bedroom condo. She worked above and beyond. At one point I looked up and she was polishing my toaster.
