Greg had his mechanic install the new lug nuts that I already had, at no additional cost. The facility has limited areas to wait, but there is a nearby coffee shop within a short walking distance. Greg was personable, smart, a great listener, efficient, professional, & made recommendations to save me money on future car repairs. Greg has earned my trust. After reading glowing reviews, I called Hyperion to ask if hey could schedule the installation, expecting to wait a few days. Instead the guy on the phone said to bring it in at 10:30 the next day. I didn't get there as a tweak in the door itself caused my overhead lights to stay on and drain my battery. I arranged for a friend to take me home, expecting to leave the car for at lrast the afternoon. But manager (I did not get hois name) said it would just be a half hour. He called over a ytechnician and 20 minutes later the car was ready! I had some body damage and the manager quoted me a price apologetically, noting that Lexus Parts are super expensive. I said well, it's a 15 year old car - probably isn't even worth the cost of the repairs. I started to walk away and stopped, turned and said, "Wait, I haven't paid you!" And he said, "no charge". I was dumbfounded and only hope I thanked him emough. Great work, fast, and even complimentary. I'm in awe. Go there!

Everyone I've interacted with there has been so helpful and it feels like they drop whatever they are doing to help you out without skipping a beat. For every issue my car has had, they have dealt with it incredibly quickly and their communication has been top notch. I feel like they really truly care about their customers and have no ego or attitude like some other places. They always go above and beyond and I don't even have to think twice about bringing my car in. I've had them fix multiple things on my car from alignment to shocks to breaks. The Good - Cook said the nail didn't fully puncture the tire and it didn't need to be replaced. So I appreciate the honesty for this part. 2. The Bad - Replacement of the front brakes. After a few months the brakes were still squeaking and I called to mention this and they said to drive the car longer and it will stop. A year later and they still squeak. I took the car to a mechanic for in inspection and was told that Cook used Oreilly brakes and did not use OEM BWM brakes. Cook did not offer it as an option. It is a 2022 BMW and the brakes the used are unsatisfactory. Had I known they would not use original parts or offer it, I would have had this service done elsewhere. I should have went to a BMW specialized mechanic.

I needed new brake pads but he told me I have 2000 miles left in it and to not waste my money by getting it replaced while I was getting my oil changed. This is a father-and-son-owned shop, and you can tell they take pride in doing things the right way. The photos I've posted show the old exhaust parts that were cut and removed, the replacement components, and the finished install underneath the vehicle. Everything was fitted cleanly and solidly--no shortcuts, no sloppy work. They replaced my muffler and repaired the damaged section from the theft in just a little over an hour, which honestly exceeded my expectations. The car sounds right, drives smoothly, and feels properly repaired--not patched together. What I appreciated most was their honesty and efficiency. They explained what needed to be done, got straight to work, and delivered exactly what they promised. In a time when catalytic converter theft is unfortunately common, it's a relief to find a shop you can trust. Their process seemed a little too good to be true. After getting various quotes from a range of others, the price was all over the place from too cheap to extraordinarily expensive. Dr. Wheel is on the lower side of the equation. The other thing, they come to your house. Say what? Got me wondering how solid of a repair we were looking at. Well, once I dug into the process, saw that the work is warranted for a year, I figured I'd give them a shot. First, we had them do two aftermarket wheels which relatively minor damage. The result was pretty incredible. The wheels looked good as new and honestly, I couldn't remember where the blemishes were . Months later the wheels looked great. Today, we got four wheels on my wife's car done, all with curb rash to a varying degree and the result was great. The challenge today wasn't the damage, it actually wasn't super complex or extensive. It was the color. From the factory, the color is pretty unique, but the Dr. Wheel team got it pretty much exactly. A special shout out to Jonathan, who came out to our house twice and did a great job. Friendly, professional, thorough, and just an all around solid dude. Not that I hope to get more curb rash on any of our wheels (nor do I wish that for you!), but if we do, we will definitely go back to them. We've already referred them to a few neighbors.

In connection with a planned 2000 mile trip, I took the SUV to my long-time mechanic, Ise Automotive, in Los Feliz. When I picked up the car, I was told that there was something "odd" about the Michelin tires on the vehicle and that I should have them checked out by a tire expert. He recommended American Tire Centers, with whom he'd done business for decades. I was skeptical, as I'd put very few miles on the tires, but nevertheless called American to determine when I might have them inspected. Vahe ("Vic") said I could bring in the vehicle the same afternoon. When I arrived, the lot was filled with cars under some stage of repair or replacement. Nevertheless, Vic turned immediately to examining my Michelin tires. To my untutored eye, they looked pristine. However, after completing his inspection, Vic said that due to their age, the rubber was separating from the material beneath. This, he told me, is why tire warranties are valid for a maximum number of Miles (usually 50,000) OR time period (in this case, five years). It was clear I was going to have to replace the tires. The question, then, was "With what?" At the age of 80, I am a "careful" consumer. When I'm teeing up to buy a product or to commission a service, I do my homework. In this case, however, it had largely been done for me. Paired with a string of online recommendations attesting to the honesty of the shop, I also had absolute confidence in my mechanic of several decades, who had sent me to Vic with his endorsement. I purchased a set of four new Michelins. Vic said he'd do an alignment only if it were necessary. The next morning (less than 24 hours after I'd been advised by my mechanic to have an expert inspect the tires), the car was ready for pickup. Vic told me to bring it back for inspection when I returned from my trip. Conclusion: I could not have been happier or more impressed with the treatment accorded me by Vic and his colleagues. They were professional, prompt and, I believe, honest in their pricing. Based upon my experience, I've no hesitancy in recommending them without reservation.

Buddy Paint's estimate was about 20% higher, but I still decided to go with Buddy's because of the 5-Year material & labor warranty (the other company did not offer any warranty) and the feedback from the customer I spoke to. I also felt like Robert would take care of us. The crew was friendly and efficient. They prepped the home well. Robert was responsive when we told him of a few spots that needed extra attention. There was one issue (accidental damage) that I wish would have been proactively handled. But Robert worked with me to resolve to our satisfaction. Overall, we love the new look of of our home. I had a major issue with my 2007 Chevy Express 3500 van which I use for plumbing. We took it to the actual Chevy service and repair place in Glendale, CA. They charged us over $300 to take the engine apart to diagnose the problem. Their diagnosis? They couldn't figure out the issue. Seriously, I got billed for nothing. Looking at all the reviews, I was nervous because when there are too many 5-star reviews, I just assume they are paid for. Well they aren't and this one isn't. I called SO MANY mechanics and visited many and everyone was treating me (a woman showing up on my own) very poorly. From the second I walked in here, everyone was kind and helpful. I was afraid that this looked like a place where they fixed top quality cars and that it was going to be so expensive. Such a kind shop! I have an old ( and trust me when I say old I mean 200k plus on the odometer old) audi, and the transmission starts making a concert. I thought maybe the transmission oil needs changing since I only had the car for about 3000 miles. No problem, quickly checked and it was alright, no change needed, the car will be driven to its death now. And since they only checked if anything needed doing they didn't ask for money. Did the math after all and everyone told me that job is like 30 minutes which will cost you around the most $300 to $400 with parts!! This was the most robbery job ever been scammed! I'm not sure all these positive reviews are real because I know how this things works and I'm sure all these people are just friends and giving this place a good review!! Once the car arrived via Wind & Sea Towing, Bo promptly inspected the vehicle and verified that it was emissions-ready before moving forward. He then coordinated directly with the smog station to ensure everything was handled properly. Bo, a knowledgeable and professional mechanic, ensured a smooth and hassle-free experience throughout the process. What could have been a stressful situation turned into a seamless journey. I highly appreciate his meticulous attention to detail and his willingness to go the extra mile to help me get my car back on the road legally.

My car suddenly wouldn't start last week. I had no idea what was wrong. Tried it multiple times over a few days without success, so I finally got up early before street cleaning today and tried to start it once more before calling the tow truck. However, it started! ‍ I took it anyways and when I pulled in, a friendly mechanic named John quickly came out of the office to ask how he can help. I told him the issue I was having. He immediately went into help mode and checked the battery informing me it was at 87% so not that. Then he connected my car and ran a diagnostic. No codes came up. He didn't see anything wrong. Started the car multiple times with no issue. Said the starter may be going out but didn't want to guess because it could be something else and didnt want to waste my money. Another guy came up while John was checking under the hood. He sent him to look my car up to check if there were any recalls, which I was happy to find out that there weren't. John told me to bring the car back if it happens again. I asked him how much I owed him, fulling expecting to be charged for his time and service as I have had to pay Meidas $200 to run a diagnostic before. He said "No charge."I was so happy that I gave him a hug! Super nice guys. They were professional, clean cut, KIND, generous with their time, and seemed to me to be very honest. There were already several people waiting patiently for John as I got in my car and drove away. Great experience! Will definitely use them again in the future! Thank you SO much!!!

He always gives a great price and goes above and beyond to tune your car up. Fast work and easy to get ahold of. For the girls - sometimes we bring a guy with us to get a fair price for car stuff, but I have never had to do that here. He's very sweet and explains everything, all around great energy. 10/10 !!!

The cars were still there, no one hurt, and there was debris on the road that a guy with a big broom was clearing away as I waited to turn right. I watched him clear the street and thought, well, looks like he got everything, and proceeded to turn and drive over what I assume was a sharp piece of car left on the pavement. Was this smart? No. Was it lazy? Yes. Would I have saved an hour and just under $400 by turning right on a different street? Yes. But hindsight is 20/20, as they say, and at least I was able to limp to Pinky's Automotive with one of my tires flapping dead. Pinky's was great. They were super nice and super fast, and if they pulled anything funny on me, they did a great job of hiding it. They checked my tire first to make sure it couldn't just be patched (I suspected not, as I've gotten that kind of flat before, and it didn't make my tire pressure drop to zero in minutes while the air spewed out with an audible whoosh). Then they found the exact tire I needed and gave me a price, separating out the cost of the tire and labor. It seemed fair (the labor cost was $55, and I would/could not change my own tire for $55), and my car was ready for pickup hours later. I was impressed with Pinky's and would recommend it for your automotive needs, especially if you find yourself with an undriveable car in Hancock Park. Friendly, quick, and hassle-free, basically all I needed them to be on a stupid day.

I was hesitant that it would be a hassle and inconvenient to have to go to an outside shop. I stopped by Pinky's for an oil change + filters. My experience was just as good, if not better, than the dealer. Very nice customer service, fast work and an overall great experience. As a girl, sometimes it feels uncomfortable to get automotive work done alone, but everyone here was so nice and professional. My friend is a mechanic so I was pretty well versed on the cost of the work & their price is pretty reasonable, especially given the good environment, honesty, and speediness. Well worth it! I will def be back, and will recommend Pinky's to my friends. Thanks!

I found this place literally early this morning, called, they told me to come in. Got there, William was great, and I forgot the mechanic. But he was nice as well. William later called with an update, it was the engine coil, he gave me a pretty reasonable quote around $200-ish bucks. My repair was done within the hour AND came under the price he quoted. As long as they continue to give fair and kind service, they will have a consistent customer in me! So wonderful, especially with some recent looming travel coming up, and great not to feel like they'd try to take advantage of me because I'm a woman.
