Imagine that by some miracle of rent control you live in Beverly Hills. You wouldn't take your old beat up Toyota to a Beverly Hills mechanic -- of course you wouldn't! You'd take it to Koreatown or Culver City like everyone else. But then one day my poor little car started shaking and convulsing and more or less having a nervous breakdown --and since I was desperate and didn't want to get it towed, I took a chance on AGT. To my amazement the bill (for a new shock absorber/coil/??) wasn't much more than $100. I know nothing about cars. Obviously. But I do know my own gullibility quotient: how much someone can get away with charging before I sense I'm being overcharged. And in the 3 years I've been going to AGT, Bobby has never taken advantage of that. In fact I typically pay less than half what I'm prepared to pay. Bobby is a straight up, no bullshit guy. This place is a hidden gem. From the outside, you'd have no idea that this place was legit. It looks like some basic auto shop connected to a gas station as there are no signs outside that say AGT, but Bobby is the real deal. I brought my Giulia here for an oil change to avoid having to go to the dealer. Alfa's are not always the easiest oil changes to do, but Bobby had no issues in being able to handle it.
