I got my scooter about 3 months ago and have just over 400 miles. If you are 6'0 and 200lbs like me definitely get the OXO and if you are riding daily get the OXO Super. It is the best quality electric scooter you're going to get anywhere locally. NYC Streets are terrible and the Inokim is rugged and can handle a lot. I zoom past Segways and Citibikes on this. I originally started with a Segway that I ended up giving to my Wife. I have put the OXO through a lot, the Segway would have broke by now most likely. Getting one of these is definitely worth it and depending on your daily requirements can potentially make your monthly MetroCard cost obsolete and cut down on Uber/gas costs. I'm leaving a fantastic review for this place I'm going to write about the pros and cons I experienced buying a scooter from Inokim, but I want to state that in the end they earned themselves 5-stars and no less! I initially tried deciding between buying an Inokim OXO from the Inokim store in NYC, online, or through Fluidfreeride.com. Fluid offered a great deal! They offered the scooter for $2,700 + $150 off + an extra $100 worth of accessories. I thought that this deal couldn't get better, but they were sold out of the OXO, and I noticed that the Inokim NYC store still had a few in stock. I inquired about the scooter through customer service chat on Inokim's website and to my surprise the store's owner, Max, responded. I told him that fluid had a great deal but that I was interested in buying the scooter straight from Inokim, and he matched Fluid's deal in accessories for me! He even offered same day delivery, and delivered on that promise. I was very happy with the sweet deal I got. The OXO was delivered to me by Max personally the same day around 9pm. Unfortunately, when the scooter arrived its front tire was flat. I was disappointed, but that didn't discourage Max. He tried to pump it back up right then and there. He couldn't because there was a hole in the tube. Max apologized, took it back with him, left me with the accessories he promised, and promised that he'd have the problem resolved and the scooter re-delivered to me the next day between the time that was convenient for me. That's exactly what he did! Around 1pm I received the scooter all fixed up and ready to go. I enjoyed the hell out of it for 2 weeks until I started noticing some defects. For example, the front brake had inadequate pressure so I was pretty much limited to using the rear brake only; the brake pads on both wheels were rubbing against the rotor and making a scratching noise (the noise was faint on one wheel and louder on the other); the scooter was making a strange, worrying clicking noise around its folding mechanism, and right after the second week or so, the throttle began to occasionally jam (although that might have been my fault because I didn't receive the scooter with a jammed throttle). Needless to say I was extremely disappointed. I decided to text Max to tell him about the problems I was experiencing. He called me back immediately (great customer service) explained everything that I was experiencing, told me everything with my scooter is easily fixable and that everything was going to be ok. He asked me to bring my scooter into the Inokim store in NYC where I live and that his technician would fix it all for free based on the 1 year manufacturers warranty that came with my scooter. Max did exactly that. He completely came through on his promise and honored the scooters warranty. Once I brought my scooter in his technician fixed every single problem, same day, within about 2 hours. I'm currently sitting on the train on my way back home excited and happy as hell. Max is literally the best, and so is the staff at Inokim. Thank you Max and Inokim for speedily and reliably fixing my scooter! I'm so proud and excited to ride my Inokim OXO scooter! It's such an excellent scooter, and I'm so glad that I bought my scooter from the Inokim store and not from Fluidfreeride. The staff at Inokim really honor the warranty you get with your scooter and fulfill their promises. I would recommend the OXO scooter by Inokim to anyone who could see themselves enjoying riding on a powerful and fierce scooter. I highly recommend that if you live in NYC or somewhere close, to buy an Inokim scooter from the Inokim store in NYC. Max and his staff will help you maintain and repair your scooter if need be. Broke the 55mm M6 stem screw on my Emove Cruiser yesterday, right nearby this place. The ridiculous Eurotrash guy at the shop told me about how "He knows this screw" and that I'd need to leave it overnight A-N-D pay $95 to fix it. When I made the, "$95?? Are you kidding me face", he told me I couldn't do better because "This was Soho, baby." Me and my friend just laughed at each other and walked our scooter 3 blocks over to the Ace Hardware shop, where we purchased an M6 replacement bolt for $2.50 and installed it on the spot. I really wanted to go back there and show him how we saved $92.50 by NOT listening to him. My advice is to avoid this place at all costs unless you like getting ripped off. read more

My girlfriend and I are newcomers to the scooter world. We were looking for reliable and stylish scooters with sufficient power to traverse a city environment. After testing Unagi Scooters for a month, we opted to return them (the Unagi ride was rough due to the lack of suspension and plastic tires, and the battery seemingly drained quickly after frequent trips over bridges). After some more research, we decided to purchase two Inokim Light 2 scooters online. To my shock, they were delivered within 24 hours directly from the Inokim warehouse. They arrived in beautifully packaged black boxes, including a free Allen Wrench set (I love bonus add ons). Both scooters rode smoothly after the unboxing. They were everything we were looking for - cool, felt sturdy and safe, and fast (21 MPH top speed). After a couple of weeks, however, one of the scooter tires got punctured (the peril of potholes), and the 2nd scooter started moving slower than its counterpart. Needless to say, I was super annoyed by these developments. I contacted Inokim and got in touch with Max. To my surprise and amazement, he had his technician quickly repaired the tire and offered to replace the underperforming scooter free of charge and without question. The customer service we received was phenomenal, both w/technical support and addressing our concerns. I didn't fully appreciate how important customer service would be in owning one (in our case 2) of these vehicles. They are ready to use with some minor adjustments out the box, but may require some handholding to make adjustments to the control settings and any other troubleshooting you may need. Max and his team at Inokim NYC have given us ease of mind with our premium scooter investment. I have nothing but praise for them and their commitment to customer service. Thanks, guys! read more
