My new go-to spot for a high quality matcha boba! The "Perfect Matcha" is a 10/10 choice for matcha lovers. The atmosphere stands out compared to any other boba shop in the Valley which I love. It is similar to Bay Area boba shops. I would give 5 stars if i didn't have this one very poor experience. A girl took my order & seemed a little rude (I thought maybe she was having an off day) Until I got to my car to shake my matcha & have it spill all over me & my car. First time trying this place out. My daughter does love this place and has been here many time. I am not a fan. I had the mango crème with boba and the boba was way over cooked. The drink itself was fine but already this is a big fail for me. Boba is so competitive right now. It's important that you get it right. My other big complaint is that it is highly inappropriate for a place to name their drinks after sexual innuendos. Can you imagine a 10 year old coming in and saying I would like to get the Tie Me Up Tie Me Down Thai Tea? Not okay. I wish the owner well in their endeavor but this is not for me. read more

I am sure they are going for the black on black vibe. And I love the color black, but it's too much. I think they could have had accent colors like a nice green, gold.. white counter tops. Something. Most of the lighting came from the outside and it was oddly. But the lady who took our order was nice. Drinks came out in a good amount of time. We ordered (2) Magical Dragon, Golden Hour, and My Valentine. Unfortunately our fruit tea bobas tasted like flavored water. Very disappointed. Each drink was about $7.75 and I think that's too much for flavor water. I appreciate that we are able to substitute toppings. My niece loved her My Valentine drink. It was creamy and milky strawberry flavored! She had the better drink. I think they can definitely improved with their fruit teas. I gave this place a try but will probably not return. It was like walking into a club, very black with cool lighting. Futuristic. Boba was okay. Boba was soft, not sweetened. I ordered the Taro blended, 50% sweet - and it was not sweet enough. Awh man. I had high hopes for this place because there isn't one very close in this area. The ones nearest to this place are Happy Lemon, Rare Tea, and Kung Fu Tea. You could count Teazers in there if you're only seeking tea. The price point blew us away. $8.25?! That's for every single drink and while some include toppings already, additions like Cheese Foam are an extra $1.50 and you CAN'T sub out any of the toppings for this. I tried the Flying Jasmine because jasmine has to be carefully brewed to make sure it isn't bitter. I didn't love this drink. There was only a faint jasmine taste which was overpowered by boba. I got it at regular sweetness but it could have used more. The boba was nicely made. Even if this drink was cheaper, I wouldn't get it again. Bestie had the Hor Cha Cha and said it was good. To me, it had a pretty weird taste. Very strawberry-based initially and then the horchata came through. The service was great and the cashier answered all of our questions. He gave us some of the house faves and customer faves. The ambiance is different. Kind of goth-glam with a random disco mirror bear and then neon lights in the back. The neon lights were really different and make the place more unique. I might have stuck with that aesthetic more than the rest. I like that they have a lounge and let you bring in outside food. There was a family there eating Wing Stop. Overall, wouldn't be back based on price and drink quality. There are a lot better tea places out there at fairer price points. read more

Their teas are really good! We went to their soft opening on Dec. 22. They are really flavorful and honestly one of the better milk teas ive had in Fresno/Clovis. The place is painted all black with fun lights everywhere. Definitely unique. read more

Me and my son wanted to grab some boba milk teas before picking up his dad from work, ended up here cus it was around the way. I read the reviews and to me it could've been a hit or miss. We pulled up and went inside. It was giving me hookah bar vibes cus the dark furniture and black light was screaming LOUNGE! Different look then ur average boba place but I don't knock it. I liked the sparkly bear they had in the corner. Homegirl that took our order was really nice and also patient. My son got the blended Thai tea milk tea. He liked that. I tasted it and it was ok. Not the best for me. I couldn't decide wth I wanted so I ended up with an iced jasmine lavender milk tea? I think that's what it was called. Sub the grass jelly for their milk foam. I was lookin for a salted cheese milk foam but theirs was just regular. Yeah.... I wasn't impressed. For some reason it tasted like tap water being used. After drinking it some more ig I forced myself to like it so it didn't go to waste. Maybe it was my choice of drink or topping, idk but I wasn't feelin it. I don't think I'll be back. I'm torn. On one hand, I like that it seems like they're making a big effort here. The place looks cool inside, and I'd like to hang out here. However, the music was way too loud and neither I nor the cashier could hear each other. I was expecting more standard options. It seemed like everything was really intense, so I think I got them to modify something into a pretty standard milk tea option, which came out good but not great. The menu doesn't seem to have any grouping, so it was extremely hard to find something appealing, as the names don't necessarily lend to the ease of knowing what you're ordering either. There's potential here. I hope they stick with it and make some adjustments to make the experience a little less uncomfortable. read more

Disappointing. Every single drink is $7.99, which is fine if the quality is there, but it's not. We got two drinks, the Mango Haven and Kumquat My Heart Kumquat My Heart - 2/5 The tea base is really bad. It's bitter AND astringent. That's a sign of either: -- a) too high of water temperature -- b) leaving the tea in for too long (or overnight) -- c) poor quality leaves, though it'd have to be really poor quality leaves for it to be this bad -- d) squeezing the tea leaves when removing -- e) cooking the tea leaves instead of steeping it -- f) all of the above The drink might actually taste pretty decent if it has a good tea base, but the tea is just too bitter and astringent to enjoy. Mango Haven - 1/5 This one is awful. We couldn't even finish it. -- The cheese foam is too dense. Normally it should be light enough for people to drink the tea out of the sip hole and get a nice blend of tea + cheese foam in each mouthful. This one is so dense that all you get is the cheese foam if you sip it. And if you use the straw, all you get is the "tea" on the bottom. -- The drink on the bottom is the worst part. I'm not even sure it's "tea". Couldn't taste any tea, just something that seemed like mango slush with a strong artificial mango flavor. Pure mango slush would have tasted much better. And the cheese foam just doesn't go well with it. Not sure why they chose that particular combo. Service: 2.5/5 Not bad, but nothing to write home about. The cashier didn't seem too enthused (not that I blame her, it's the holidays, there's barely any customer, and it's so dark and dreary in there) and didn't know what the tea base was on the menu. Ambiance 2/5 Not my cup of tea. Too dark with REALLY TINY FONT ON THE MENU. Please realize it's really hard for some people to read that small of a font size ESPECIALLY when it's that dark in there. They should keep some paper menus on the counter for people to read. If you want boba in this part of town, try RareTea or Rollie Rollie instead. read more

I'll keep it short for you all. Yes, the prices are insaniTEA; however, it is also very good. Worth it? Maybe, if you don't want to drive all the way to your next best boba place. Lately most of the boba places popping up around town have been treading the fine line of "just a little TOO sweet." InsaniTEA hit the mark on the concentration of its brew and the coveted praise of "not too sweet" (IYKYK). Service: 5/5 Aesthetics: 4/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Drink Quality: 5/5 Price: 1/5 Service: they aren't even officially open yet (soft opening), but already have their workflow down. No rush to order when perusing the menu and drinks were made quickly. Front of house was kind and are able to make any accommodations requested. Aesthetics: a little eclectic, to say the least. It's a mix of a club/lounge playing late 2000s music with a 480p music video playing on large dual screen TVs that are complete unrelated to the song. It's honestly kind of a vibe though? I think it would make more sense if this spot was a late night hangout, but they close at 10pm. Middle of the day though? Yeah, kind of thrown off walking in. It does transport you from the hustle bustle of the area though. Cleanliness: it's new, so...not much to say here. Trash wasn't littering tables so it was taken care of. Drink quality: so, back to that "not too sweet" comment. It was just that. We got the Kumquat My Heart and the InsaniTEA Special. Both were not too sweet, but packed a nice concentrated flavor of the green and black tea, respectively. Crystal boba, regular boba, kumquat bit - the little toppings inside were all good. Not the best (Pearl Tea House remains undefeated until their drinks become $10+), but better than most around town. Price: this spot deserves its own price review category. At $8.25 per drink, it is steep. I get the area and I get the current economy today, but let's try to be reasonable here? Do whatever it takes to drop your price point down a couple dollars. Remove a couple of the "complimentary" toppings on your drinks or something. At $8.25, I think people are more willing to make the drive elsewhere to compensate. Since it's soft opening weekend, the BOGO deal is a steal. Without it, I'm not so sure it would be my go-to spot. I think I'd rather make the drive elsewhere to get two drinks for a couple more dollars than the price of one. Overall: They have a prime location. The drinks are very good. Their prices are a little steep for me, but maybe they've already done a market analysis of the area and set the price at one they believe would work. They look miserable and I almost feel like I'm a bother to them going up and ordering a drink. There is no customer service skills at all. Not even a "hello or can I help you?" Just a blank stare. Not bad for adults but drinks can't be personalized as you'll just have to choose what's already on the menu. I didn't even realize the prices of the drinks until after but the drinks were pretty good either way. Got a variety for everyone to try out: Thai tea, Ube/coconut, Matcha, My Valentines and everyone loved it all. I just preferably don't like toppings/boba in my drink but prices won't get any cheaper. Their drinks are delicious and the business has a very fun and laid back vibe. Most importantly, their staff has always been respectful and very helpful explaining their drink menu. Today I watched as two employees attempted to work with a customer who was unhappy with the drink menu options and was wanting a discount. From my observation, it seemed the employees did all they could to remedy the issue. Both employees were very polite and appeared to do what they could to try and accommodate the customer (to no avail).
