The most exhaustive detailing I've experienced in DC Metro area! After weeks of winter driving and a couple of road trips made my car a mess, both inside and out (no pun intended), I decided to try this car wash while heading to brunch in Barracks Row. Little did I know, I found my new spot! The team left no crevice untouched, removing the crumbs and dirt from even the pesky cracks of the leather seats and corners of the cupholders. I cannot say enough good things about my recent first experience with Inside Out Express Car Wash. After passing the location on a trip to Trader Joe's and that our car desperately need it a full detailing I scheduled an appointment online. When I went at my designated time I was greeted by two friendly gentleman who took a look at the car and told me they would text me when the car was ready. After the estimated time, I did receive a text and walked down to find the two gentlemen as well as the owner, Tim. My eight-year-old RAV4 looks absolutely brand new. I am beyond impressed with the attention to detail, the care they took in the car and we were actually debating getting a new car but after seeing what they did to our car I think we are set for a while. I live in Capital Hill and stumbled across this car wash inside the parking garage where the Tader Joe's is located. I walked up to the young man working there and asked if i could make an appointment and he squeezed me in same day. I dropped the car off and went for a walk around the area. I received a text an hour later and my car was ready. I was very pleased with the job "INSIDE OUT" did and I will definitely be going back. I got my car detailed here and was happy with the outside, but disappointed in the inside. The upholstery looked worse than when I brought it to be honest. I would have done the shampoo service but the staff member I talked to didn't recommend it given there were only a couple of small spots to clean and we don't have pets or anything like that. He was wrong, apparently! But since we discussed it and they kept my car for 3 hours, I really would have expected more attention to detail than I got. Maybe they just couldn't see how bad it was in the dark of the garage. I tried calling to discuss but no one ever picks up the phone so I just scrubbed the seats clean myself, which defeats the point. read more

Today was the first time I used inside out car wash . Darrell was the absolute BEST! I cannot recommend any other car wash in the city. Me and my boyfriend have two dogs we go hiking there's generally mud and who knows what else that makes it way to my car. I wish I had taken before pictures just to show what an amazing job Darrell did. My car looks brand new and he even took the time while cleaning my car to a state it hasn't been in since I purchased it mind you he noticed one of my tires was low on air and filled it for me . I got the inside out car wash for $45 and was really impressed with the job. Having neglected to wash my car in months, I handed it over completely filthy and covered in dog hair. They handed it back to me completely spotless, with every trace of dog gone. At first I thought $45 was a bit expensive for a car wash, but then I realized that two people spend a full 45 minutes hand washing your car. That makes it worth it and even a good deal. The convenient online scheduling makes the whole process very efficient. I dropped off my car and went across the street to a cafe to work for 45 minutes. You can also go shopping at Trader Joe's or Eastern Market, both right next door. I would definitely consider making this my go-to car wash service! read more

Absolutely amazing!!! Oh my goodness we got the 45$ car wash which included outside and inside, not the full detail. First of all for 45$ that is a steal. Secondly it could have been a full detail thats how amazing of a job they did. I was able to schedule my appointment online my boyfriend dropped it off and they were done with in an hour. My car looks brand new! He even paid them 20$ more and got a huge chocolate protein shake stain out of my tan back seat! I would recommend anyone and everyone to go here! Had the full car wash for $45 today for the first time and was totally impressed. My car was returned to me cleaner than when I bought it. The interior was spotless everywhere. When I left I forgot my dry cleaning that had been taken out of the car to clean, and within minutes the staff had called me to remind me about the clothes. The process can't be easier - schedule an appointment online, drop off the car and enjoy the Eastern Market neighborhood, and pick it up looking new. I was pretty disappointed with this place. Brought my SUV in this past week for a detail, and it felt like they did the bare minimum. Surfaces were all wiped down, but not really scrubbed clean. They did not do the full exterior wax (though they at least reduced the price a bit because of that). They did not bother to vacuum the full center console until I pointed it out...and they took out the center divider from the cup holder and almost let me drive away without it. This was a step up from the interior cleaning my car gets when I bring it to the dealer for an oil change, but didn't really feel like a full detail. I believe part of the problem was that they were understaffed on the day I brought it in - they gentlemen who did the job said they usually have two people working, and they day I brought it in they only had one. This meant he had to rush through it - and it showed. On a positive note, it is very convenient if you live and work on Capitol HIll, staff is polite, and they were overall very trustworthy and easy to deal with. I just wish they had done a more thorough job. read more

Very happy with the ease of booking an appointment, location and finished product! I was so pleased with the beautiful job they did on the car. Their recommendation of the aqua sealant was so opportune. As usual, the weather predictions were not accurate so after the finished, sparkling clean vehicle was driven to our outdoor lot, the evening turned dark and the rain poured! I was so concerned about water spots but the next day, the sun came out again and the finish was spotless and sparkling. I took my car here today and I am so impressed and happy. My 11 year old car was looking rough. It had scrapes and neighborhood kids had broken a tail light. I had bought a new tail light, but I hadn't had it installed yet. I thought I would have to take it to an auto body shop to get it installed, and the new tail light piece was hanging out, waiting, in my car trunk. These guys found the tail light in my trunk and installed it. They also popped out a dent and smoothed over multiple scratches on the bumper. My car looks about a million times better and spotless. It was also extremely fast on a Friday - it took about an hour. Would HIGHLY recommend. They really went above and beyond. read more
