Had the cookiewich, chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream, not bad. Generous servings Nothing special with the cookies "insomnia" just means their open late. Girl who helped me wasn't to friendly, if you hate your job, QUIT!

Must sound very weird, but it was the first time in my 21 years on Earth to enter a cookie store past 10pm-ish, and it left such a good impression. I'm not a big fan of sweet eats, but this place downright convinced my heart and mind. I ordered a deluxe salted caramel for $4.28. Price was definitely not cheap, so minus (-) 1 star. Customer service was unexpectedly wonderful, given that nighttime staff elsewhere would typically feel reluctant to serve. They carefully asked if I wanted a paper plate or a double-open bag for takeout. Recalling all my cookie-tasting memories, I think this is the best cookie I have ever had. They handed the cookie to me lukewarm. First bite was exactly like described in the title, very ooey-gooey. You could feel that batter hot out of the oven melting in your mouth. The texture was soft, wet, a little crispy, and sticky; nothing could compare to it!! When I first held it, it broke into medium-sized parts that fit my chewing capacity. Yummy, but one is enough for the night because it's cloyingly sweet at some point. Please handle it with care, or it will break into pieces‼ Overall, very positive experience in my first attempt at ordering and tasting a cookie. Also feeling thankful because there was a suddenly long, long queue after my order!! P/s: Highly recommend for late-night sugar cravers!! Opening until 1AM. Will definitely come back with reviews of their ice cream and chocolate milk.

We ordered the Mini Pack of 12 mini cookies for delivery. All of the cookies were small for being $20 and they were extremely hard. The cookies were delivered quickly, however they were very cold and definitely not worth the money. I'm usually a fan of Insomnia, but I was very disappointed tonight!

I always love a warm cookie from Insomnia. This experience was a little weird. The guy running the counter was trying to crack strange jokes to my boyfriend and I, who didn't understand what he was trying to say to us as we were in the middle of ordering. The place wasn't too busy, but it was clear that others were also confused by the cashier. The only cookie that we got that was fresh was the white chocolate macadamia. Other than that, nothing to write home about.

Oh my God fresh cookies divine!!!! This is an awesome cookie place where you can have cookie sandwiches and order just a variety of different cookies in different quantities and box sizes. $ 1.70 per cookie. I ended up having a macadamia cookie with cookies and cream cream sandwich. Obviously have to eat this quickly because the warm cookies will quickly melt your ice cream. Yum yum yum is all I can say... The locations right near UMass and Amherst College in the thanks square. This store is perfect for students who need to pull a all-nighter with projects and exams. That's probably why they came up with the name insomnia... I guess. The place itself is small with a couple of stools and a sit-down area. But it's really a place where you can grab & go.

I'll keep it simple: I got cookies for me and some friends, and now we are all sick. Long version: -I got insomnia cookies last night, it was a great deal online Tuesday Night 5 for $6 (and normally 6 are $9.25). -I got Mint choc chip, M&M, snickerdoodle, and Double choc chunk varieties. - Delivery was somewhat quick, only 30 minutes and it was 11:45pm and they were almost warm too. -Everyone who ate those cookies, including myself are terribly sick today. We have diarrhea, extreme nausea and it's horrible. As my roommate put it "Diarrhea Vomity Sick". Mind you the only thing we had out of the ordinary last night were these cookies, otherwise we were just studying. I will not go back to insomnia cookies because my friends and I are all very sick from eating insomnia cookies.

When I was in college, I was jealous of any school that had an Insomnia Cookies nearby. It was a great place to go after a party to get some drunk sweets. It was great. But when you peel back the filter of adolescence, you realize that the cookies are good, but only slightly better than the cookies you'd get at BJ's Wholesale or CostCo. It's definitely a higher quality than the average cookie, but not by miles. A cool thing about this place is that they also serve ice cream, which goes great with the cookies (Again, especially while you're drunk). However the ice cream tastes very generic and felt like it was store bought. I will be coming back, but only because I love the idea of anything being open late at night. And because I will most likely be drunk.

the cookies are very yummy and they are warm, bonus points for having vegan options their hours are awesome and they deliver!

I love their cookies!! My favorites are double chocolate chunk and chocolate chunk! I also really enjoy their campfire s'mores ice cream and cookie dough ice cream. Really smooth and creamy. The only downside is that it is a little pricey for some regular sized cookies.

Peach cobbler cookie ala mode was solid, as a nice treat. It's a little over-priced, but worth it in the moment for us.

On a weekly…read morebasis they will deliver fresh and fully prepped meals right to your doorstep in the metropolitan Hartford area and the city of New Haven. Check their website to see if your town makes the cut. Orders must be submitted by Saturday night to receive Monday delivery. These are healthy low-calorie and low carb meals. We ordered four entrees, and nothing exceeded 425 calories. In fact, two were in the 300's and one was below 300. Combine the convenience factor, the variety of options, the reasonable cost, and the health factor, you get a lot of pretty good reasons to order some meals from Hartbeat. So how does it work? Well their menu changes weekly, but entrees run $10 or $12 and these are some typical choices: Chicken Tenders, Cauliflower Mash, Braised Spinach Chicken, Bacon, Sweet Potato Hash Deconstructed Fish Tacos Pesto Chicken Pasta Pesto Shrimp Paleo Shepherd's Pie Shrimp and Broccoli Simple Salmon Simple Steak Sweet Chili Glazed Salmon Turkey Burger and Sweet Potato Wedges over Greens They also sell "components" for $3-$5 you can either add to a meal or use as a base for a meal you prepare - think side orders of Garlic Green Beans, Herbed Chicken Breast, Roasted Broccoli, Roasted Sweet Potatoes, Salmon, and Smashed Potatoes. This week I saw a soup on the menu (Red Curry Glass Noodle Soup) for $6 that must be a new addition because I didn't see it last week. For our inaugural order, we selected four entrees - Chicken Tenders with Cauliflower Mash & Braised Spinach, a Chicken, Bacon and Sweet Potato Hash, Deconstructed Fish Tacos, and Sweet Chili Glazed Salmon. I had the tacos and the salmon, and I thought they were excellent. I was a little skeptical about reheating fish in the microwave, but the instructions were spot on (I went on the low side of the time range) and they came out great. The sides and sauces were all very good too. My entrees came with a variety of string beans, riced cauliflower, black beans, and cole slaw. The sweet chili glaze for the salmon fillet was outstanding! You'll have to buy a nice insulated red bag for $10 with your first order. It comes with 2 freezer packs and will become your delivery point for future orders. Well done Hartbeat !! Welcome to our rotation.

Owner Nancy Boone's food ranges from gluten-free to dairy-free to fully paleo, and each week the menu rotates enough to both access your favorites and keep things interesting. She sources from local farmers, so if you're in CT she provides a much more sustainable service than out-of-state food meal delivery services. Nancy continuously collects feedback about the meals and you can actually see the meals change slightly in response to that feedback--it's always getting a little better! Nancy designed the service to help working families--twice now I haven't gotten my order in on time, and she's accommodated me to the best of her ability so that I could still get a delivery. While I DON'T recommend forgetting to place your order on time (that makes her life a little harder), I've been so appreciative of her flexibility during these crazy and stressful times.

This made it pretty easy for us to review the menu and zero in on what we wanted, which was four items. Our server Anca was very pleasant and professional, and enhanced our entire consumer experience. We went with a small container of freshly made egg salad, a small container of grilled shrimp ($5), Meatballs with rice and vegetables ($13), and a frozen eggplant lasagna ($9). The egg salad was very good. Just egg and Light Hellman's Mayo and nothing else. It was a pretty much perfect batch, and a good convenient value at $5. The shelled "tail-on" grilled shrimp were five large nicely seasoned pieces that were delicious. We split the Asian Meatballs dish for dinner tonight. It was a big 19-ounce container with three Asian meatballs, rice, broccoli florets, and julienned carrots, squash, zucchini and scallions. A half portion was plentiful, the meatballs were excellent, and the sweet chili sauce added a zippy finishing touch. If the eggplant lasagna is half as good as the meatball dish, I'd be very happy. Some of the other intriguing listings we saw on their menu were Balsamic Shredded Beef, Turkey Cutlets with Fontina, Garlic Parmesan Flounder, Spanish Rice with Chicken & Shrimp, soups, salads, and desserts. Definitely worth your while to stop in and check out their grab and go goods.

My father in law is a rather picky eater, but he absolutely loves the meatloaf, pot roast and macaroni and cheese. I love that there's no commitment to a minimum number of meals, we can buy what we need, when we need it! Their prices are reasonable and the portions are perfect. "Driver has left the restaurant!" the cold food was then left with no updates, at the very end of the delivery window time, so If I decide to give up and deal with a household catastrophe or something after the last "Driver is on their way" and ETA, or if you decide to try that, forget it. On my first try at ordering, full kudos; I had ordered from a restaurant which had closed and they called me, and made sure they had confirmed that I knew my order wasn't coming. I'm done. I ordered tonight and they called during a job interview and left one message saying the restaurant was closed (hours before its listed closing time, which again, okay the place has total legitimate reasons to close when they need/decide to but this service NEVER updates the times. 20, 15, 10 minutes while Amherst Deliveries "delivery hours" were still active (1030pm) I called. Then called again. It's NOT their fault that my cellphone is lousy with message alerts but I sure was underwhelmed by the high prices, not knowing if I can trust the Driver actually gets the tip, and barely warm to cold food. And worse, no attempt to confirm the message they left had been received. I wonder if their management has changed? Or screwed up? Do pickup yourself if you can at all and if not, see if wherever you're ordering from delivers through another service. That's my advice. I know I've been a Karen about this and I'm sorry but delivery is not just an every day event, it's a privilege people have to pay for. This is not worth it.
