Had the cookiewich, chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream, not bad. Generous servings Nothing special with the cookies "insomnia" just means their open late. Girl who helped me wasn't to friendly, if you hate your job, QUIT!

Must sound very weird, but it was the first time in my 21 years on Earth to enter a cookie store past 10pm-ish, and it left such a good impression. I'm not a big fan of sweet eats, but this place downright convinced my heart and mind. I ordered a deluxe salted caramel for $4.28. Price was definitely not cheap, so minus (-) 1 star. Customer service was unexpectedly wonderful, given that nighttime staff elsewhere would typically feel reluctant to serve. They carefully asked if I wanted a paper plate or a double-open bag for takeout. Recalling all my cookie-tasting memories, I think this is the best cookie I have ever had. They handed the cookie to me lukewarm. First bite was exactly like described in the title, very ooey-gooey. You could feel that batter hot out of the oven melting in your mouth. The texture was soft, wet, a little crispy, and sticky; nothing could compare to it!! When I first held it, it broke into medium-sized parts that fit my chewing capacity. Yummy, but one is enough for the night because it's cloyingly sweet at some point. Please handle it with care, or it will break into pieces‼ Overall, very positive experience in my first attempt at ordering and tasting a cookie. Also feeling thankful because there was a suddenly long, long queue after my order!! P/s: Highly recommend for late-night sugar cravers!! Opening until 1AM. Will definitely come back with reviews of their ice cream and chocolate milk.

We ordered the Mini Pack of 12 mini cookies for delivery. All of the cookies were small for being $20 and they were extremely hard. The cookies were delivered quickly, however they were very cold and definitely not worth the money. I'm usually a fan of Insomnia, but I was very disappointed tonight!

I always love a warm cookie from Insomnia. This experience was a little weird. The guy running the counter was trying to crack strange jokes to my boyfriend and I, who didn't understand what he was trying to say to us as we were in the middle of ordering. The place wasn't too busy, but it was clear that others were also confused by the cashier. The only cookie that we got that was fresh was the white chocolate macadamia. Other than that, nothing to write home about.

Oh my God fresh cookies divine!!!! This is an awesome cookie place where you can have cookie sandwiches and order just a variety of different cookies in different quantities and box sizes. $ 1.70 per cookie. I ended up having a macadamia cookie with cookies and cream cream sandwich. Obviously have to eat this quickly because the warm cookies will quickly melt your ice cream. Yum yum yum is all I can say... The locations right near UMass and Amherst College in the thanks square. This store is perfect for students who need to pull a all-nighter with projects and exams. That's probably why they came up with the name insomnia... I guess. The place itself is small with a couple of stools and a sit-down area. But it's really a place where you can grab & go.

I'll keep it simple: I got cookies for me and some friends, and now we are all sick. Long version: -I got insomnia cookies last night, it was a great deal online Tuesday Night 5 for $6 (and normally 6 are $9.25). -I got Mint choc chip, M&M, snickerdoodle, and Double choc chunk varieties. - Delivery was somewhat quick, only 30 minutes and it was 11:45pm and they were almost warm too. -Everyone who ate those cookies, including myself are terribly sick today. We have diarrhea, extreme nausea and it's horrible. As my roommate put it "Diarrhea Vomity Sick". Mind you the only thing we had out of the ordinary last night were these cookies, otherwise we were just studying. I will not go back to insomnia cookies because my friends and I are all very sick from eating insomnia cookies.

the cookies are very yummy and they are warm, bonus points for having vegan options their hours are awesome and they deliver!

When I was in college, I was jealous of any school that had an Insomnia Cookies nearby. It was a great place to go after a party to get some drunk sweets. It was great. But when you peel back the filter of adolescence, you realize that the cookies are good, but only slightly better than the cookies you'd get at BJ's Wholesale or CostCo. It's definitely a higher quality than the average cookie, but not by miles. A cool thing about this place is that they also serve ice cream, which goes great with the cookies (Again, especially while you're drunk). However the ice cream tastes very generic and felt like it was store bought. I will be coming back, but only because I love the idea of anything being open late at night. And because I will most likely be drunk.

    Maggie Z.

I love their cookies!! My favorites are double chocolate chunk and chocolate chunk! I also really enjoy their campfire s'mores ice cream and cookie dough ice cream. Really smooth and creamy. The only downside is that it is a little pricey for some regular sized cookies.

Love coming here, always can satisfy my late night sugary needs! Would have been five stars if the brownie came out right away...didn't know they had to "put it in".

The staff is always knowledgeable and friendly. The line can be out the door at times, but the staff work diligently to keep it moving. People are happy, the animals are happy, the kids are happy. But what about the ice cream? Well, this time I actually came to judge that, and the verdict is... it's the best ice cream in the area! I had the Purple Cow, black raspberry ice cream with white and dark chocolate chips, and it was so good. The ice cream here is definitely on the creamier side, which is exactly how I like it. It edges out my longtime favorite that's just three minutes away, simply because I prefer a creamier style of ice cream. My wife prefers a less creamy texture so whether you like this place or the other place up the road more really comes down to personal preference. We ordered the kiddie size and it was still surprisingly generous. Free sprinkles were a nice bonus too. The little shop inside is really cute. They sell jams, cheeses, mushrooms, breads, ice cream, and a bunch of other local products so it's worth taking a few minutes to browse. Great…read moreviews, an actual working farm, and you can still buy fresh raw milk and beef cuts inside. One change since my last visit is that you now order the ice cream outside instead of inside. The line was long but it moved surprisingly fast. I do wish they offered samples and this time they were missing some of the more unique flavors that I like to try. Kiddo and Wifey got the Orange Pineapple, and they both loved it. The best part was that it wasn't overly sweet. It was light, fruity, refreshing, and the pineapple pieces throughout gave it great texture. My mom got half raspberry and half pineapple from the non dairy sorbet options and really enjoyed both. I went with the Black Raspberry Chip and it was so good. This is that old-school ice cream I grew up with. If you've had it before, you know exactly what I mean. That said, after trying another place just three minutes away, I do think that other ice cream is creamier. I personally prefer a creamier texture, while my wife likes a firmer scoop, so it really comes down to preference. One thing to know before ordering: when they say "one scoop" they really mean one scoop. Don't expect an oversized serving. There are chickens and cows roaming around the farm, which adds to the experience. The animals looked happy, and while seating is limited, there are both indoor and outdoor places to sit and enjoy your ice cream. Overall, this is still a great stop and one I've enjoyed for years. This place is well worth visiting for the farm atmosphere, beautiful views, and classic homemade ice cream.

Flayvors of Cook Farm is a farm-based ice cream shop that combines homemade ice cream with a…read morerelaxed countryside setting. We walked up to a spot where the experience feels different from a typical ice cream stop because you are surrounded by farmland, open views, and even the cows that contribute to the farm's products. The environment is just as much a part of the visit as the dessert itself, with picnic tables scattered across the grass and a view of the fields stretching out beyond the parking area. The biggest highlight for us was the ice cream itself. The texture is creamy and rich without feeling overly heavy, and there is a good balance between classic flavors and more unique seasonal options. We tried a few of the creative flavors and found them to be what makes the shop stand out, with choices that you would not normally find at a standard ice cream shop. The more unusual options were interesting to sample, while the traditional flavors were still strong enough to keep coming back for. The portions were generous, and the quality of the ice cream felt consistent across the different scoops we ordered. The farm setting adds another layer to the experience. Sitting outside and enjoying ice cream while looking out over the fields makes it feel more like a destination rather than just grabbing dessert. We noticed families settling in at the picnic tables, kids running around the grass, and a general sense of calm that you do not get at a typical scoop shop. It is also a nice spot for families since there is more to see than just the ice cream counter, with the farm animals and open space giving the visit a fuller feel. The main thing to consider is that it can get busy, especially during warmer weather and peak dessert hours. The lines move at a reasonable pace, but the popularity means it may take longer during the busiest times. Parking and seating can also become more limited when the farm is crowded, so arriving earlier or visiting on a weekday can make the experience smoother. Flayvors of Cook Farm is one of those places where the location, atmosphere, and food all work together. The ice cream is the main reason to visit, but the farm setting makes the experience feel more memorable than a regular dessert stop. It is the kind of place that fits naturally into a warm afternoon outing, offering a treat that feels rooted in its surroundings.
