I wanted to love the experience. And I'm sure they're busy. First, we ordered their Big Dipper box, but we received just the four cookies and none of the icing. Second, they were cold. I will say, the tracking app and order updates didn't work, so it did take me a second to meet the delivery person (approximately 3-5 minutes), so the cookie temperature could have been my fault. Pretty disappointed. I went for the first time on Sunday night because they have gf/df chocolate chip cookies. Whoever was baking that night did an amazing job. Soft and tasted just like a regular cookie. My boyfriend and I went back last night because I haven't been able to find such a great tasting dessert since finding out about my gluten and dairy allergies. Whoever was baking last night did a horrible job. My cookies and his regular ones were so hard, we could barely eat them and they were obviously over baked and much browner then the night before. Let me preface with this is my first yelp review. I usually don't care about bad customer service but this place is awful. I decided to order a bakers dozen as a gift for a friends birthday, with a same day delivery of 11AM. I even called after ordering and spoke to their customer service to confirm the order. It wasn't until later that night around 6PM, I realized I never heard from my friend so I called to confirm delivery. I spoke to customer service and they contacted the store, the order never went out. Customer service says they will send it out within ten minutes, I decline because it's past working hours, nobody is there to receive it. I ask for it to be delivered the following day, at the time requested 11AM, I also ask for the message included to be updated since it's no longer my friends birthday. Customer service said they could send it tomorrow but couldn't update the message. I ended up canceling and asking for a refund. Bottom line, if you want to never get your order, then spend literally 30 minutes trying to sort it out then I suggest definitely ordering from here! Enjoy being annoyed also! read more

Their s'mores cookie is so decadent and delicious, so that's the only reason I gave 3 starts. Delicious, but holy crap--$3.50 for ONE COOKIE!!!!!!!! That's insane. Have you ever eaten a peanut butter cookie that made you see god? Okay so here's what you do... you get two of them. The first one, you shove in your mouth immediately while it's warm and gooey. The second one, you take home and... oh no you just ate it when you got in the car. Okay, go back in for two more because now you know how dangerous they are. Eat HALF of one when you get back to the car because you're a strong, brave, responsible adult, right?! Right! Whoops that was the whole cookie. NO MATTER WE STILL HAVE ONE! By this time, a stomach ache from inhaling cookies should be on your side and as soon as you get home, stick that last cookie in the fridge. Totally forget about it. Drink some wine. Go to bed. When you wake up at 4am because you're dehydrated and need to pee, open the fridge and that cold peanut butter cookie will be waiting for you in all its glory and it's going to be the only thing that saves you from your hangover and shame that you finished the entire bottle of wine. These cookies are so yummy! They are great for an office event or a late night snack! The people are so nice and the have a gluten free vegan chocolate chip that is to die for!! They have a red velvet a double chocolate sugar and snicker doodle! Basic cookie flavors with far from a basic taste! Even if your not they are sooo yummy! If you go in for a single they pull it right out of the warmer for you. Same with multiples but I usually go for a late night. They also have ice cream and ice cream sandwiches with their cookies! Ordered a delivery at 4:45 to have 18 cookies delivered at 5:45, figured the advanced notice would help them be delivered on time. 30 minutes after the requested time still no cookies. Contacted customer service only to be told they were on the way when their cookie tracker says they're still baking. Needed the cookies for an event that I will now be late to. Finally received a call from the actual store saying they just now sent them out 30 minutes after my requested delivery time. Last time I count on them, don't recommend using them if you need large quantities of cookies for something, maybe for a late night fix where you only need a couple cookies. The cookies themselves are awesome but we had a horrible experience with customer service. We were double charged for our purchase (because we offered to go pick up our delivery order that was super delayed because of bad weather) and I had to call seven or eight times to address the issue and the company was never able to directly reimburse me. I ended up having to file a claim with my bank to dispute the charge. The company operates through a call center and it's really tricky to get ahold of anyone who can help. Went in there today to get cookies for neighbors. Cookies looked okay, however ice cream was done in scoops for the quarts instead of packing the ice cream like every other ice cream shop. So I was really excited to go to insomnia cookies. I went tonight and the double dark chocolate cookie I had was good! Not stellar. But I asked the employees if they make all their cookies from scratch and they said yes. However, at my grad party recently my mom got triple chocolate chunk and peanut butter cup cookies from restaurant depot and they looked EXACTLY like the cookies insomnia was selling as their own. My friend got the triple chocolate one and I tried it and it even tasted exactly like the ones from my grad party. I'm fine with insomnia buying cookies wholesale and reselling them but they should not be lying to customers and saying they're all made from scratch!!!! FYI they're called Davids Cookies and they can only be bought at wholesale places like restaurant depot. My mom owns a restaurant so she's able to buy stuff from restaurant depot and that's why I had them at my grad party. INSOMNIA IS LYING TO US!! read more
