I will never order from this location again. In the past, we have had several incorrect orders. Tonight, it's going on 2.5 hours and no delivery. I have called twice (to the customer service line - you cannot speak to someone at the actual location) and was told that the manager was out doing deliveries and would call me back in a few minutes. I'm impressed by the concept of Insomnia Cookies - Late-night snacks for college students that may not have means of transportation. The execution (at least of this location) was OK, but not perfect. 8PM on a Saturday - There were 2 people ahead of our group in line, and it took 20 minutes to even be acknowledged. Then, when we ordered, some of the cookies were still baking, so we had to wait even longer (Good that the cookies are THAT fresh, but really didn't want to wait any longer). Their prices are on the high side, but again, these are super-fresh gourmet cookies. You can get a 6 pack of cookies for $10 plus delivery... The cookies themselves were a tad oily, and way too sweet for my tastes. Your mileage may vary here, as they have so many different cookies. I had the super peanut butter cup cookie. The Snickerdoodle was also a little greasy, maybe even undercooked. I'll go back if in town, but maybe I'll get the ice cream instead of the cookies. read more

Omg!!!!!! Snickerdoodles from here gave me so much life!!! Nice and hot and fresh and melt in your mouth. What more could a girl ask for? Took away one star because it's so tiny in there. Gave us the wrong order and had to go back to get the correct order to find out the order they had given us had been sitting there for 3+ hours and they hadn't even made ours up yet. DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY. I ordered two sandwiches online at 7:50 on a Sunday night. The order arrived TWO full hours later at 10:00! When we called to check on the order, we received a generic response that our order was up next and proceeded to wait another half hour for the tracking to update to "our for delivery." This evening at 10:00pm I decided to treat my family to Insomnia Cookies. Around 10:30 our delivery arrived. Upon opening the bag I found that there was no ice cream and the toppings were wrong. I am very disappointed with my experience with this establishment. I ordered two cookies and some milk. When an HOUR went by and the cookies were still not here and the tracking number said the cookies were still "baking" I decided to give them a call to see what was taking so long. The woman on the phone was not helpful and said that the delivery went out "20 minutes ago" When I asked why a delivery was taking 20 minutes I was given an attitude and told "it's a busy time in the season" It is 9 o'clock on a Monday... and if it is that busy why is there only one delivery person for the entirety of Towson. I was not offered an apology and when I asked for an estimate on when the driver would be arriving she said "I don't know he went out 20 minutes ago" I was so displeased I canceled the order and asked for a refund. if i could score negatively i would! i placed an order online for a baby shower in advance and when i went to pick them up not only was my order not ready, they only had 3 of the flavors of cookies available meaning 4 of the other flavors that i ordered they were out of! tell me, what's the point of ordering ahead of time if the order can't be ready on time and done correctly??? to add insult to injury when i complained to customer service i was told because i paid cash they couldn't give me a refund however they would send me free cookie coupons. they sure did, 6 free cookies if i bought 6! how ridiculous!! they ruined the dessert for my party but then expected me to buy more! so thanks for nothing and i suggest anyone looking for desserts for a party go to someplace with an ounce of professionalism! read more

Everything was bad. It was supposed to be around 30 mins to get our delivery. We ordered 6 cookies, a brownie and a pint of espresso chip ice cream. After waiting 45 minutes we received a phone call saying there was a miscommunication and it would be "10-15 more minutes but we will thrown in two free cookies for the trouble" I was fine with that. So then almost 60 minutes later a super unfriendly delivery woman rings the doorbell at almost 11 p.m. (waking a sleeping child) shoves some boxes at me without saying a single word and leaves. So it's already way past when we wanted this stuff but we were determined to enjoy our treat. All but one of the cookies were the wrong kind and the ice cream instead of being a tasty espresso chip was that most vile of ice. Real flavors, butter pecan. At this point I was done and didn't want to deal with this anymore but was irritated. Called customer service and was told that they were going to bring the right order. I didn't want to wait who knows how long for a correct tion so I asked them to pick up the wrong deli5 and refund my money. Customer service said I had to wait and call back in the morning. Called back and argued with the rep for a few minutes they grudgingly agreed to a half refund and some gift card I didn't want. This location is unreliable with their ice cream and cookie flavors. They are always running out of the common items, and it appears that they do not receive new shipments often. Also, their online ordering does not match their inventory in the store. I ordered sugar cookies and birthday cake ice cream, but was called about an hour later when they informed me that they were out of birthday cake ice cream. I think proper management would ensure that high sellers are always in stock. For the amount of money I pay, I think I will just make somewhere (more reliable) my new late-night dessert spot! read more

This was my first time at insomnia cookies and I will not be back. The employees were very unattentive and laughing and joking with each other inbetween customer orders. My husband, son, and I ordered 3 very simple things. There were 4 employees standing there and only 1 was preparing what we ordered while the others stood there! And she kept stopping to laugh and make jokes about her phone with the other employees. The whole thing made me angry. I thought maybe just the customer service would be bad and the deliciousness of the treats would save this place, but nope! They completely botched my husbands order and covered his flavorless ice cream with snickers that he did not order. My sons plain vanilla ice cream was good. I ordered a single sugar cookie which was the highlight of the trip. Overpriced. Low quality young employees that are not attentive or professional in a workplace. read more

I visited this location a few days ago and the service was very poor! Upon entering the store it took about 2 minutes for me to even be acknowledged. There was a young woman in the back baking cookies while an older woman, who appeared to be the manager on duty, was sitting at the desk with earphones in talking on the phone. It wasn't until she looked up from the desk that I was finally acknowledged. She didn't bother to end her phone conversation though. She simply said, "Hold on real quick, I got a customer." and walked to the front to take my order with the earphones still in! I've worked in customer service for many years and service this poor definitely should not be allowed, especially from a manager. The cookies were still great, as usual. Insomnia Cookies - Desserts Near Me - Towson, Maryland

We've had these a few times from different locations and the cookies have always been phenomenal, no complaint there. After moving to Towson a little more than a year ago we had ordered them once and the order was certainly up to par. Tonight, we attempted to place another order and although the website states they are open with delivery until 3am, when clicking on the order tab, it states delivery is only until 8pm. We called the number listed and the customer service rep stated they were open for delivery and she could place our order over the phone, no problem there. We spent 10 minutes figuring out and placing the order with all the address and payment details only for the rep to tell us at the very end of the process that they were not open for delivery. Awesome. Not only did they close deliveries early, they gave my appetite blue balls, feeling cold and alone, full of disappointment and resentment for a lifetime.
