For my second wax, I went to Mya. I did not really enjoy the experience that much. She was very blunt and told me how unempathetic she is to peoples pain because she's been doing this for so long. This was also a super painful waxing experience. She used big strips and barely held the skin down afterwards. She's a good conversationalist though. When she said she was done I was genuinely confused because it was so quick and it felt like nothing was taken off. But when I looked, she actually got me cleaner than my first time. There was no hair, no bleeding, and it looked exactly how I wanted it to. If you have a high pain tolerance and want fast and efficient service, go to her! Although she's not for me, she's professional and definitely for some other people. One thing I like about European wax in Westwood is that they take you fast! I've never had to wait long, and you can literally schedule an appointment like an hour before if you wanted to. It's never too busy in there, and they respect your privacy. The environment is clean, and things feel judge free.
