It wasn't the best Russian pedicure that I could get for that price. First of all when I walked in and was seated, I was never offered any refreshments, but other customers who came after me, they were offered drinks like water, tea, etc. place was empty, just me or maybe one more customer. There were two employees sitting next to me and speaking in Russian and cussing and sharing their life stories to each other. I'm not Russian, but I speak and understand Russian fluently. So that was a very disappointing part of customer service. When it comes to pedicure I received, it wasn't good all that. It was on a level of any Vietnamese Salon for $45. For the price of $90 + tips I would expect much more. I don't recommend this place at all. read more

Unfortunately, I can't really recommend them. The very first time i went was great. the second time, it seemed they forgot my appointment. they nail tech who ended up doing my nails did so like it was a chore and she was not very gentle. In fact, she nicked my skin / caused me to bleed. I said it's ok, it happens! The next time I went, a different tech cut my nail too short that I bled again! I tried them for the third time last week. The nail tech was super nice and I really like her. !!!Unfortunately!!! 2 of the nails on my left hand have broken and the thumb on that hand is broken right in the middle and is really painful. (I did also leave with a few bumps but that was my fault for not asking them to fix it right away) Hopefully I just got people when they had an off day but, I do not think I will be going back. read more

I've been a customer here for years solely because it's close to my house. Unfortunately, the service has gone downhill. The nail techs are often rude, and the technical quality of the nails is lacking. I kept coming back hoping it would improve, but it seems like a deeper management issue. I'm genuinely so annoyed that it's tragic! Let me start by explaining: I have a nail technician, who doesn't work at this place, who does my Russian manicure and pedicure. She can't do pedicures for the next two months due to an injury. So, a friend recommended this salon and a specific technician, who was busy, so I got someone else. Refer to the picture of my toe that almost got me banned from Foot Finder! Not really, but you get the point. I called the salon to complain, and they asked me to come back. When I did, they said they couldn't guarantee the color would look good and couldn't really "fix" it since I just had it done. The first technician, during a regular pedicure, used her nail file to scrub my toe and didn't remove all the polish, causing the problem. The second technician easily removed it all--how?! The first technician told me it was fine if not all the polish was removed, claiming the nail only turns yellow if bright colors are left on. I'm sure science would disagree. When I expressed my frustration, they told me there would be no charge for today. Really?! $55+$20 tip for literally damaged nails. Let's me just say as a company - y'all need to do better. read more

I am saddened to write this review as this was my go-to spot for mani and pedi for the last 12 months. Came here religiously. Today's experience will mark the last time I get a pedicure from here, possibly a manicure as well. I just paid $110 for a regular gel French tip manicure (plus $10 for tip). That alone is insane. I had to ask my nail tech a couple of times to change the French tip design on one foot, asked her to do it again (twice) on the other and she just didn't do it. I speak Russian so I know it was not a language barrier situation. She cut up my toes a couple of times. At the end she asked me if I wanted the dead skin removed on my feet. I was confused bc...yes of course I want that? Isn't that usually included in a pedi? I go to pay and learn that I was charged $10 extra for "callus" removal. I was shocked, and I'm kicking myself for even paying this without challenging them - however - I just wanted to get out of there. The nail tech removed dead skin, I do not have calluses. It took her maybe 10 seconds on each foot to remove the skin. So I paid $10 for 20 seconds of work. Im aware that they charge extra for a French tip design, that is fine. Today I was charged $10 extra for gel removal (removing the gel from a pedicure I received from this establishment - which seems unreasonable) and then $10 extra for the callus removal. My pedicure was $110 in the end, again for regular gel French tip manicure. They are not upfront about the prices, prices seem to change on a dime, and there are so many different nail techs that you basically have to get lucky to leave with something looking nice. That is not the right way to do business. Truly saddened about this, as this used to a nice experience for me. Minutes after posting the above mentioned review via Google, Nail club called me (I did not answer) and then texted me. I have attached a screen shot bc frankly, I wouldn't believe the following text exchange myself if I didn't see it with my own eyes. Nail Club LA texted me "Vera, good evening, this is Nail Club LA. You just wrote the review about your experience today. We are so sorry to hear that from you. Can we refund you $30 for pedicure for removal of this review?" Instead of publicly responding to my review and outlining what they will do better next time, they tried to bribe me with a $30 refund asking me to DELETE my honest review. This is such a poor and dishonest way to do business. They care more about the facade of their reviews, versus actually providing a good service. This doesn't surprise me that much as they are already okay with quoting clients random prices that change at their discretion. However, offering me $30 to delete an honest experience is truly something I never thought I would experience. I was a loyal client for a year, and this is how I'm treated. There were a few other instances where the service was sub par, yet I let those slide as I am an understanding and reasonable person - I understand that a business cannot always offer impeccable service. Today's pedicure experience at the salon was my last straw - yet I was still considering coming back for a manicure. But now, I will not be returning to this business, and I suggest you really consider whether or not you want to support a place that tries to bribe their clients into removing honest reviews. I can only imagine how many other people they have successfully bribed into removing honest reviews. read more
