Your money counts for less and less these days. They give very fast service, skipping basic mani/pedi procedures or just going through the motions with no care for any detail. This is my gel manicure only after 2 weeks and it was lifting and chipping many days prior to this also. My cuticles grew back horribly as well. I will not be coming back. read more

I wanted to get my nails done before heading to my friend's karaoke party with minutes to spare! Customer Service: Sensational, as well as friendly! Both Lan (Pedicure) & Linda (Manicure) were amazing! They were both incredibly detailed-oriented and quick!! My nails looked amazing, and I was super happy! Plus, the massage chair felt incredibly relaxing in the process!! An Array of Colors: There were so many colors & though it took a second, I was happy to find the perfect one! Last-Minute Rush: Thank goodness to the Yelp app, I was able to filter & quickly find a nail salon that was still open, as many of the salons were already closed or were closing soon! When I called, the woman on the phone was friendly and said to come in! Busy Bee: When I arrived, the salon was incredibly busy, nearly every chair taken, as expected on a Friday night! I am grateful I was able to get my nails done on such short notice and before closing! Sighting: There was a cute, big fluffy dog behind one of the chairs with another customer! Went this evening for a quick pedicure Cindy told me I needed to pay before my service because she was closing the register. Now I am African American and there where a multitude of white women in there who were being serviced and once their service was complete there were allowed to pay, it was more than 1 woman who paid after their service . Now i usually don't complain about stuff like this but the more I thought about it, it had everything to do with the color or my skin. Tracy was great but I won't be back. She clearly thought I would run out on the tab a $20 dollar tab at that, I work hard for my money I am a city employee and I didn't appreciate that kind of treatment. Worst dip manicure I have ever gotten. They have dirt and hair in the gel polish. Don't waste time or money. I asked them to fix them and they we pulling my arms and really aggressive when I asked for them. They are all different sizes. And very wide. I asked for skinny round almond. The staff is very nice and very satisfied with their work. However, they didn't have a couple of the colors I wanted and they are low in supplies of polish. I used to love this place when I lived in the area but since Covid their quality has tanked. They stopped sterilizing their cuticle trimmers and nail clippers and I got extremely disgusted yesterday. I went for pedicure and the nail tech used cuticle trimmers that was clearly used and had someone else's dead skin on it. I will never be coming back here again. This is how people catch fungus, warts and if they get cut/bleed can also catch blood borne diseases. Very sad because I used to love this place. read more

Time for an update. I am writing this review in defense mode of a small business I have been going to since they first opened, years ago, after reading some of the negative reviews. These last two years have been hell for not only them but small businesses all over the state. I am grateful that I was able to continue to come to Main Attraction throughout this entire pandemic debacle. My favorite ladies, all be there quite a few, are Nancy, my go-to, and Cindi who holds the fort at the desk. I particularly want to thank you both for your kindness and attention each time I came in. You are the best. I was just reviewing some of the previous comments posted about the shop, (2020 and 2021 primarily) since the beginning of the pandemic and realized how petty, accusatory and presumptuous some people are without realizing what the ladies here have been through since the beginning of this horrid situation. To the owners, for whatever difference this makes, I want to thank each one of the ladies who worked throughout this difficult time and say kudos to every one of you. I am sorry that we lost some of the girls who had been there for ages. I want the owners to know how great they have been regardless of the situation. The people in this country, and especially this state, because of these crazy mandates have gone through hell and the least people can do is have a little sympathy and kindness for the hard-working ladies at Main Attraction, where I have never been made to feel anything but welcome. If I could give negative stars I would. Snotty and rude women. I didn't receive what I asked for. If they didn't offer the service I asked for, they should have told me and I would've went somewhere else. I was serviced anyway and given something I didn't want because of the lack of transparency. It took no less than a half hour to fix one nail. My other nails were filed for some reason which didn't need to be messed with. One nail was scuffed and she refused to fix it. I left 1.00 and I should've left nothing and heard a crappy comment on the way out. To top it off, my husband and baby were in the car and my baby got sick. I asked for some paper towel and was told no there's "not enough." Are you serious? You cannot spare some paper TOWEL! If I could dispute this charge I would. Absolutely horrid. read more

I went there 3 times. Every time I was waiting for them to finish the previous clients before me for about half an hour every time. First time Tammy did my nails it was an acrylic refill. Overall fine, but she took a bit too much distance in between the nail polish and the skin, so the fresh nails looked a week old. She also leaved a few air bubbles, because she was rushing to get to another person. Second time I came back 2 weeks later, and she advices doing whole new set. Dip set this time. Which we did. 3 days later 2 of the nails had lost pieces of the polish and dip leaving bare nail behind, I attached 2 pictures of those nails. Another 6 nails had detached from the dip in those 3 days. Mind you in those 3 days, I didn't do anything physical, no cleaning, no cooking, no working out, nothing. So I came back for them to fix it. Not only they booked 2 other people at the same time as they booked me leaving me waiting for over an hour, they also charged me in full for a completely new set of nails. Insane. I spend there 2 hours and 20 minutes, because Tammy went to do other people and came back and I had to pay in full again, for the job that was supposed to last me 3 weeks instead of 3 days to begin with. Also they should update their color displays, a lot of them don't look the same as in the bottle anymore, from time, light exposure and scratches. Overall not a great place. Not coming back. Another concern I didn't see her opening a sterilized set of instruments any of the times, that's concerning. There's a chance she does it in advance, but would pay attention if you're thinking to try them out. read more

It is very unfortunate that the quality of this business went down terrifically. I used to come here very often, and never had any issues with the service...it was what you paid for. Last week, I came in for a quick regular mani and pedi, since I was in the area. The lady that did my manicure tried insisting for me to do a gel nail instead of a regular manicure. I was very polite and explained that I didn't have time for a gel manicure. She then went ahead and complained about my nail polish of choice, and tried to convince me to do a pink color? I said that I was sticking to my choice. After she tried asking if I wanted her to shape my brows and I said no, she got extremely irritated and performed a very poor service. She barely did two coats of the nail polish and did not clean the cuticles well. It clearly looked like an unfinished and well poorly made service intentionally. When I went ahead to pay, she came to charge me and still gave me an attitude. Needless to say that I felt extremely uncomfortable and couldn't wait to leave. I will not be returning to this place, and I'd advise you to not have Lann do your nails if you do come. read more

I have been a customer for quite some time but will no longer come here. I came in with my friend, a European, who is fluent in the native language of the nail technicians (unbeknownst to them). The older woman, Cindy, at the front desk makes small talk and banters with customers but after they pay her at the desk and leaves, she immediately ridicules them to the nail technicians. In the span of time that we were there, my friend (who understands the language) listened to her mock and ridicule 5 customers. The most vile comments were directed at this elderly lady who Cindy chided for "not tipping enough to have such ugly feet." We were shocked and asked the technicians working on us if Cindy owns the salon and they said that she was a "manager." If you are the owner of this nail salon and reading this, you may want to re-evaluate and hire a front desk person or "manager" that represents your business in a respectful and professional manner. To other customers, you have been warned that the front desk woman, Cindy, will probably pretend to be nice then ridicule you after you leave. There are other nail salons on Main Street that need the business and we will take our service needs elsewhere. It's sad to see such unkind and disrespectful behavior after a customer willingly comes here and patronizes the business. There are other reviews on here claiming how nice Cindy is because she banters with them but these customer obviously do not speak the language to understand that she turns around mocks them. She's as genuine as a faux leather. Also, this nail salon does not sanitize their tools between customers. Not okay. I was drawn in by $22 mani/pedi. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra dollars on someone who will actually give you a manicure. This is just a place that puts polish on your nails, thickly and sloppily. This is not worth the "deal". I was told to sit in the chair and it was covered in old nail clippings, I'm not a germaphobe but yech! When I asked to have it wiped my tech, Eva, rolled her eyes and brushed it with her hand. They use a plastic liner in the foot tub because the place is so dirty. They barely filled the foot tub with lukewarm water, my feet weren't fully covered. I get a manicure to have my cuticles and hangnails cleaned up, which she barely did. She spent less than 60 seconds doing my cuticles and spent zero time on the skin around my nails, which is still rough. She left a gap around my cuticle instead of polishing the whole thing, though she used 5 coats of paint. I wish I had spent the extra money for an actual manicure. They try to pressure you to spend more money. I read a review that someone was offended when they insisted she have her eyebrows done. Mine were done 2 days ago and they still told me I needed them done, it's just a pressure technique. Eva also told me I was wrong for not getting gel. Knowing now how thickly she polished my nails I'm especially glad I didn't. read more

The manager held the salon open for me and helped me find free parking in the chase parking lot right next to the salon - she even went as far as coming out to make sure I was able to find a spot as it was a busy Saturday evening. Anne did my nails and she was absolutely wonderful! Dip + tips + cuticle grooming was $60. The nails were in prescribe condition for ~8 days before they started lifting at the nail beds and my hair would get stuck... I think this is a personal problem and not the result of Anne's work, which was very high caliber. I will definitely be back! read more
