We went for pedicures at 8am on Sunday. They were kind enough to be open that early after I called for an appointment. Jenny was incredible and very thorough. Your experience may vary if you have someone else. The sale sign/menu states it should be a 40 minute pedicure, however, the person working on my wife's pedicure only spent 20 minutes, and she was not satisfied. read more

Really great place with moderate prices. I went in to get my acrylics removed, and get full gel extensions. It took a little under 2 hours. My nails came out so cute. I showed jenny the style I wanted and consulted with me the whole way. Acrylic removal - $15 Set-$99 4 nail designs $20 There is parking just outside that is pay by space or metered parking. I've been coming to Bonjour nails for years. They always do an excellent job...their services are worth what they charge (they're very pricey). I've felt like I've gotten to get to know Gary and Jenny over the years. Sadly, I'm going to stop coming here because the pressure to tip is aggravating. I always tip but Gary and Jenny have this passive aggressive way of communicating they are bothered by the amount of the tip or unnecessarily reminding you several times to tip. After having spent close to $200 on my last visit and always tipping, I don't want to be hounded about tipping. I know it's customary to tip but it is not mandatory. It feels like you need to tip 50% in order to satisfy them and I don't like that feeling when I get a service done. A pressure bubble wondering if I'm tipping enough for them and being hounded about it isn't for me. Moving on. read more

I love it here and this is my new nail spot! TL; DR it is pricey but very well decorated, speedy, and with excellent customer service. I came on a Monday when no one was around and asked for a gel pedicure and hard gel refill, which they happily obliged immediately. Jenny worked on my hands & Gary on my pedicure & were super friendly and accommodating the whole time. They have nice chairs with the whirlpool tub that they put a plastic liner over for health & safety. The salon is surprisingly large and very clean with a lot of open space. Look at my pictures for prices because they have a lot of add ons available. The only thing I don't like is the pricing but it's quality work and QUICK! My pedicure was less than 30 minutes and my hands were done in under 1.5 hours. I guess it's true that you can only have 2 out of the 3 between cheap, fast, and quality. It's certainly quality work and done very speedily! I paid $96 for mine. The 2 rhinestone fingers were $10 on top of the base price of $86 that they quoted me for gel with a hard nail fill and the pedicure was $60. I probably would go elsewhere for a pedicure because thats too much but the foot massage was nice. ALSO-- they covered my hands with gloves to protect them from the nail dust and then a black pair of glove to protect my skin from the UV lights! Above and beyond! They also do lashes & facials. Read great reviews for this place so decided to check it out with my roommate. We had called to make appointments for acrylic and gel acrylic ahead of time. It was not until my nails were being painted that we understood that they do not offer acrylic. They took off my roommates gel nail polish on top of her acrylics and tried to tell her that her nails are not acrylics, which they are. We also never saw a public display of their prices. My gel nails were expensive but $45 is pretty standard in this area. I had a cuticle that was bleeding the entire time, and a chunk of skin was painfully cut from my thumb. Otherwise they were hospitable, but miscommunication made the experience awkward, and we had to go somewhere else to get my roommate's nails fixed. Wish services were more explicitly provided. If you like gel nails, this place may be more for you! read more

What a garbage pile of a nail shop. Went in for 2 manicures with my mom, called ahead they said they had immediate availability. When we arrived she had availability for only one person. Then she started filing my nails (unevenly, diff lengths) and when I asked her when she's gonna soak my hand for the manicure she flipped out and said they don't use water for their manicures and cuticle removals. So you're gonna cut my cuticles and dead skin around my nails when they're dry and hard???????? Please avoid this garbage dump full of rude unprofessionals who don't know how to give a basic manicure. Go back to beauty school seriously. read more

I went here on Wednesday 12-20-23 for a gel color change and gel toe polish change. After I was done, I asked for change for tip and they refused to provide me with the amount that I asked back. After that, they forced me to tip $10 or more because "they did a good job" It is very rude and disrespectful to force a customer to provide a tip amount that they did not choose on their own. I never did gel because it would always ruin my nails, but they use a type of gel here that is safe and gentle and for the first time ever I've been able to consistently have fabulous long, natural, nails. I've been looking for a nail salon that I can call my "regular" spot for a while now, and I've finally found it at Bonjour Nails! Called at 2:00pm on a Monday and they fit me in at 3:00pm. I got the deluxe green tea pedicure, done by Gary, which was such a treat. I also got a Gel-X extension manicure, which was done by Ivy. For full transparency, they said they called me but I don't have a missed call nor do I have any voicemail messages from them or a text message. It's possible they called when I had no reception? I called to make an appointment for 12PM. Showed up a couple minutes before 12PM, and waited less than 10 minutes at the nail station and a really nice worker was already taking off my gel nails and filing them. She filed my nails just like how I wanted them, going from my long coffin nails to almond - down to a manageable length that I wanted! She was very open to my thoughts on the shape as well, and made sure I looked at my nails and liked the shape before continuing. Super friendly. I had to use the bathroom before she started putting on the polish and they have a restroom in the complex, you just need to ask for the key and go through the curtain and down the hall. Very good to know! I chose a translucent pink color that could look streaky/be hard to work with as it's not very opaque, but she did a really good job with it, using 2-3 coats depending on how each nail looked, and how yellow some of my nails were. For gel manis, we get to wear a white glove that expose only the fingertips, so it feels better when you're using the UV curer. After the nails were done, I got a complimentary paraffin wax peel-off hand mask done in this warm purple wax and a shoulder massage which was super nice! It was $30 for the gel mani, and I was in and out in a little over an hour, which I think is totally reasonable for this experience and quality. If you want to tip using your card (they prefer cash tip), you pay a $1 fee to add on the tip. I will most definitely be back here in the future and was very happy with every aspect of the service! The location can't be beat, either. Westwood and Santa Monica Blvd! So convenient. Finally, making an appointment will get you serviced faster than someone who doesn't - a girl came in without an appointment just after me, and she had to sit a bit longer before being helped. read more

I live in Westwood and this place is a gem find. Jenny and her husband are kind and professional. The place is very clean and organized and each chair is partitioned. Jenny paid excellent attention to details and there was not any residue or extra polish left behind. My nails are fully painted with no empty spaces. I love how they also provided gloves for my fingers during the light curing process! There color selection was also wide with brand new bottles of polish and gel colors. There was almost ample street parking which is difficult to find on the Westside. I highly recommend them and will be returning here in the future! read more

Bonjour nails was a delight. This was a cute nail salon because my usual nail salon was closed on Monday. When I called asking about times, they were very pleasant on the phone. My boyfriend and I walked in around 4pm on Monday and we were promptly seated. Except parking is all street... cannot park in the back. I chose a color and then they buffed our feet and did a nice clipping of the nails and soaking. Everything was pretty sanitary. I thought the hot stone was sort of wayyy too short. I thought it would be four minutes but it was like two seconds of them rubbing it on my foot. A nice massage was given in addition to my manicure though. The manicurist was very pleasant, but I would suggest they don't play the news when getting manicure. Sort of sad to hear about people's cars flipping over or measles while getting your pedicure done.... :( Overall, would be back for another pedicure (21 dollars). I will only do services I find add value to my time. My gels mani last up to 3 weeks. No chips, and my nails are never damaged from the gels. I have not once felt the need to peel off my gel nails, bc they dont lift........not once! Whatever they are using doesn't peel or thin out my nals. In fact, my nails are stronger with the gels. Went to Bonjour Nails today for a spa pedicure and it was great. Small but clean nail salon, professional staff, and it didn't have that overwhelming scent of nail polish and remover. My sister and I walked in and were able to be seen immediately around 1pm (although we went on Easter so it could be busier on a non-holiday Sunday). Side note- I found this spot on Groupon, which was offering the spa pedicure for $31 instead of the regular $65, but when I called the salon they said that the spa pedicure always costs $31...so...not really sure what that's about Groupon... read more

Apparently, they're under new management and offering a 15% discount. My $29 spa mani/pedi came out to $25 =))) Overall, they're not bad. My nails are nice and shiny and NOT smudged. I usually smudge them shortly after getting them done. I'm a klutz =T They could improve on their cuticle work though. I don't think they spent enough time soaking my hands and feet but they also knew that I was on a lunch break and needed to be speedy. Also, don't shy away from the male nail technician, not bad!
