Top to bottom amazing! Talk about a culture of compassion and teamwork--these guys could teach a master class. After getting jerked around by Lowe's I heard about Install Pros. Even though they are in Northern Virginia and I am in Central Virginia, they acted like they were right next door ready to lead me a cup of sugar if I needed. I will remember Hana, Zack and Sean for their cool, laid back approach to customer service. When I was panicked, they were calm, if I had a question, they had an answer. The crew was on time and underway within minutes of arriving. They were patient with my curious dog and very courteous throughout the process. TL;DR version: --Took much longer than expected to submit estimate and materials list ---Materials list submitted to us and Floor and Decor was missing critical components (twice) --DIDN'T SHOW UP THE DAY THEY WERE SCHEDULED TO INSTALL --Awful communication and responsiveness overall Install Pros were hired to install hardwood floors on landing, staircase, and upstairs hallway. Initially, when Garrett, from Install Pros, came out to measure our home for hardwood floor installation, he told us we'd receive a quote and a shopping list three days later. It took almost two weeks (and several emails/phone calls on our end) before we received a shopping list. With their set up, the customer has to order the materials based on what's submitted from Install Pros. When checking out, luckily, the customer rep from Floor and Decor realized that the shopping list PDF that was sent to us and Floor & Decor was incorrect and missing huge components of the project which would cause additional stalls in the project. We had to wait while they called Install Pros to confirm the appropriate materials. Thankfully, F&D caught the error, otherwise, the project wouldn't have been able to be completed. The day that Install Pros was scheduled to install no one ever showed up. We confirmed the appointment and even got several robo-calls confirming the day of our appointment and still, no one showed. We called and emailed the office several times (no answer)until finally calling the parent company... who also couldn't get a hold of anyone involved in the project. Later that evening we were finally contacted and they requested to reschedule for the following day. Meaning, I would have to take another day off of work. No one arrived at our home until 3pm the following day (therefore I missed two days of work before installation even occurred) and subcontractors worked until after 9pm. The contractors noticed that there were errors in the shopping list and that we had the wrong type of thresholds. So they weren't able to completely finish the project. We called Garrett to correct the issue, and he said due to fraud protections, we'd have to again go to Floor & Decor to order the correct parts. We had to wait another week for the thresholds to arrive, and then contacted Install Pros to finish the project. The subcontractors they hired however, did a great job, and worked very hard. I would have much rathered to pay them directly for future projects than deal with install pros. I emailed several times asking for some compensation for the three days that I needed to take off work due to lack of organization on Install Pros end, no one contacted me for several weeks. What's most ironic about this, is had we not been available for the appointment, we would have forfeited our $600 deposit. Install Pros then stated that my three days of time, the several trips that I had to take to Install Pros due to their incorrect shopping list, and the headache that I endured having to constantly contact them and ensure that the project was moving along was only worth a $100 discount. If you value prompt, organized service that's free from mistakes and communicates constantly with the customer- then don't use Install Pros for your flooring needs in the future. read more

We purchased beautiful (and expensive) solid wood flooring and Nate and Shawn took care of all the installation details. They were very responsive and easily accommodated our work schedules to get the job done. The flooring was floating and click-together and the job was completed in about a half of a day. We would definitely use them again! read more

Steve and Install Pro team were great! Very professional and able to come redo part of my bamboo hardwood in my basement after the some of the floating hardwood separated. I contacted Steve, he showed up a few days later contacted the hardwood vendor and got everything rolling with hardwood replacement and scheduling a time to come back and reinstall the pieces that separated. The installers were professional as well, I couldn't be happier. I definitely will recommend Steve and team to my friends in the future! read more

Steve and his team were incredible. They remodeled my hall bathroom, it looks amazing. They were always on time, prompt in responding to my calls, and very professional. I have had nothing but positive comments to the finished results, everyone referring to it as a "high end bathroom". Absolute WORST company to work with! The customer service and scheduling is absolutely a disaster and not worth the hassle. The guy that came out and measured gave me the wrong measurements. He also told me that he would have his team pick up the supplies, but then when I contacted him, he never returned my calls/texts. Then, I scheduled an appointment for installation at 8am. They did not show up, so around 10 I contacted them. After about 4 calls, it turns out they couldn't come until 5pm, when I needed to be out of the house by 6. They then promised that everything would be done that evening. They ran out of supplies because the original guy measured wrong, so I had to adjust my schedule the next day to go out to get more supplies, and have them come out again. The installer promised that it would only take 30 minutes to finish. Four hours later, they left, and guess what?! STILL NOT DONE. so I had to adjust my schedule another day for them to finish. So after five times of complaining to the scheduling lady, and the manager not answering or returning my calls, I'm still trying to get in touch with someone to hear about my issues. They actually expect me to pay full price after all of this, without even letting me talk to a manager. I will be reporting this company to BBB and whoever else I can find, because this is the absolute worst company I have ever worked with. read more

I purchased my materials for my new floors in the house and needed a team of installers. Upon browsing through yelp, I found Install Pros. I gave them a call and was able to set up an estimate appointment with a breeze. I was impressed with how fast they sent me my quote and contract. I must say I'm impressed, considering the fact I've gotten home projects done before and the quotes/contracts never came in this fast. The installers came to my home and were able to finish the installation in a day. My boyfriend used to be an installer so i know the difference between a crappy floor installation and a good one. Man oh man was I impressed. My floors are looking AMAZING!!!!!! Everyone I spoke to on the team - from making the appointment to completing my installation - was VERY accommodating. I've recommended them to two of my friends and they love their floors too!! If you want your floors to look AMAZING, I HIGHLY recommend install pros. They will not disappoint. read more

I would have loved for Install Pros to install our flooring. I was very impressed with the project manager who came to our house to measure and give us an estimate. Then three weeks later, how many times have I tried to get in touch via email and phone, to no avail? Our order still is not resolved, and I'm not happy. It's confusing too that Install Pros is the sub-contractor for Installation Made Easy. In order to make a deposit and schedule the work, I have to go through the latter... something that's not exactly clear to the customer. read more

A little overdue on this review (we had work done in June 2015), but I'd be remiss if I didn't share my experience with Install Pros. Steve Hsu, the owner, is a consummate professional who coordinated several aspects of getting our townhome ready to sell, all on a strict timeline. He refinished all our oak hardwood floors, and the result was astonishing -- they look brand-new. The cost was very, VERY reasonable, too -- especially considering other quotes we had received for the same job (to include replacing several oak boards on a 18-yr-old floor, which is very difficult to do right. They did it right). Install Pros also repainted the entire house, fixed a leak in the roof, re-tiled a shower, and tiled a bathroom floor and a kitchen backsplash. Highly recommended! read more

The work looks fine, but there are too many people involved in the process and it got very confusing. Lumber Liquidators were not clear on the process of an installer. The Project Manager showed up 2 hours late, calling only a few minutes before the original, to ask if he could come later in the day. The estimate was sent to me, and he told me that he would have a crew there on Saturday, and the work would be done by 2 p.m. I signed a contract that said I could cancel the appointment by close of business Friday night. I cleared my schedule on Saturday and stayed up late Friday clearing. rooms. At 8:00 the next morning the installer, yet another person, called to ask if he could come on Sunday, because he did not have a helper. Should the project manager not have called his crew before he agreed to installation on Saturday? I told the installer I had to have it done on Saturday. He came alone and worked all day. But did not finish. He had to come back on Monday again without a helper. In the mean time Install Pro called for the balance to be paid for the completion of our install on Saturday. I told them it was not done, they apologized for not knowing. Then when the job was done, and it looks fine, calling in the balance of install, yet another person had to be called to give the balance, I was told the account was paid off. They had confused our payment with another customer and paid off their account, with our money. Too many people involved, at least 6 different people were involved in getting this floor installed, and I did a lot of the prep work. I will not necessarily call them first next time I need floors installed. read more
