    What a waste of time. Ive been dealing with them for a while. Got a quote, ordered the mounts and accessories I needed and I let them know i was ready...that's when everything changed. Now they said we have to charge you a fee to make sure we can do the job (recessed box) and now instead of an extra $150 for the job it will be closer to $500 because we misquoted you. Mind you these people sent me a picture of a recessed box they've done and it was exactly what we agreed on. They said we thought you meant something else, like , really? You sent a photo to confirm and we agreed. Honor your prices don't be short sighted. Better to create a loyal customer.

    This was an outdoor TV install. The young man was nice enough, but communication was a little bit of a struggle. Additionally, he did not have the proper tools he had to leave the job twice. I thoroughly explained the job when I asked for the quote and made it clear that we were utilizing an existing outlet from the inside and tapping into the back of it to run it up the wall. If you've been doing this a while, you know that there's fire blocking in the wall. There's no box for HDMI or cable. It took almost 5 hours to get the job done disappointing. I have to redo it myself, The original estimate was for 500. They tried to charge me $645 and I still had to pay $500, I told them there was no way, especially since I have to redo it. I don't know what the rest of the teams organization is like, but this is one of the worst hack jobs I've had done. Again, nice guy I just think woefully underprepared... In addition, this was brand new concrete and I don't know if he tried lubricating a cutting tool or what but ended up staining my concrete to top it off... Two stars simply because, he was patient enough, but the job was nowhere near to the level it should've been

    Ed came through to install a horticulture lighting system in my ceiling and did a S-Tier job. (S is greater than A for all you old timers out there)! You can absolutely trust Ed to mount anything to your walls/ceiling with his excellent attention to detail. Beyond that his cable management and channeling were extremely clean. Clean and respectful - you couldn't ask for more. These guys are men of their word - RESPECT

    *Edit I was contacted by the technician from Installation King today with an apology. The fact that he contacted me wanting to make things right by trying to fix the issue at no extra charge without excuses and no questions asked, is truly a business that cares for their clients from start to finish. Although the cords have already been fixed as I contacted another technician after posting the initial review, I wanted to make sure to edit my review to give credit where credit is due. Highly recommend! Had our TV installed some time ago and the technician we were assigned to was very kind and friendly. But after he was done mounting our TV, he pulled out two strings from the back saying we can just pull on these if we need to take it down. I'm not sure why he physically showed us the strings since I didn't ask, explaining alone would've been more than enough. I kindly asked if he can put the strings back. He used some non-sticky blue tape to tape them behind our TV. Not even 2 minutes after he left, one of the strings fell. It was a struggle to tape it back myself and, lo and behold, the string from the other side fell as well. These strings are continuously falling left and right.

    These guys knocked out two installs in 24 hours. Ordering was pretty easy using their menu, Denis was patient and professional. Job itself took almost 8 hours but the drywall work around the fireplace isn't easy. He also had a mount and some cables in his van that I decided to swap out last minute, whole process was good. If you don't have outlets already set up, he'll install them for you, he put one in behind each TV. Flush and clean.

    Very responsive through Yelp and text. Denis and his friend arrived right on time and quickly got to work. They were extremely fast and efficient and did a fantastic job mounting our new television. They brought the large boxes out next to our outside trash cans before leaving.

    First off remember the age old saying. You get what you pay for. If you bought a bargain TV and you're just looking to put it on the wall. This company might not be your fit. If you purchase something on the higher end side of things and you're looking for the absolute best installation from somebody who will take their time and ask you questions of what your preferences are along the way, look no further. I almost let geek squad do the installation and I'm glad I avoided that can of worms. I had an LG G2 gallery addition 83 inch TV installed. They did only send one person but said that if I wanted to have someone else come to help with the TV they could but that's all the person would be used for. I opted to help the installer lift the TV myself. If you are not young or strong definitely ask for an additional person to come along with the installer. The TV looks amazing on my wall and I'm very happy with the work. If you're looking for the best deal, this isn't the right company. If you want the work done correctly, look no further.

    It's expensive, but it is what it is. That's the only reason I gave 4 stars. Other than that, Ivan was super nice and professional and did a great job mounting our TVs.

They did not have to destroy the drywall to route the coax and were in and out in a manner of 3-4 hours. I now get close to 500 mbps in the office compared to the 10-20 I was getting through WiFi alone.

Then, the power pretty much went out, but again only in half the house. SCE came out and said the wiring behind the meter was damaged and overheating. We were afraid of it catching fire, plus we had people coming over that night and we didn't have power in the kitchen and half the house. I called a few electricians, but none of them could come out right away. And then I found Ramon. He came out in less than an hour to diagnose the problem. He gave us a very fair estimate and said he could do the work the same day. He immediately went out to get the parts he needed and then got right to work. The job was more involved than what he originally thought, but the price stayed the same and he finished in a few hours. SCE ended up coming back out later that night because we had called them for service before we found Ramon and they didn't show up for like 12 hours. The SCE guy insisted on checking the work we had done because he was skeptical that it would be adequate. He checked everything and quickly left, saying the work was done perfectly. Thank you, Ramon, for saving our day!

I wanted two Ubiquiti APs (one on each floor), several Ubiquiti PoE security cameras, and two CAT6 drops into bedrooms which the builder didn't add. Starlight Tech was able to take care of all of this and the best part was minimal holes in the drywall. There were some small holes that Mike told me about ahead of time, but they were small enough to be covered by standard wall plates. On the day of the install, Starlight Tech was here on time, worked together to make sure everything was done in a clean and neat manner, and made sure everything was fully up and running before leaving. They even came back on a second occasion because I was still waiting to order a final security camera. I've recommended Starlight Tech to my neighbors and highly recommend them for any networking or cabling job needed. They are extremely detailed and are excellent at problem solving. I figure things happen and take time so I didn't call until 2:30 pm or so to check on where the technician was. I was told that my job had "not been added to the schedule" but they would see when a tech could be there. I was then told 3:45-4:00pm. No one arrived. I called at 4:15 pm and was told they were 25 minutes away. I called at 5:01 and the voicemail said the office was CLOSED and here it is 5:15 and no one EVER ARRIVED. I realize compared to other jobs this company has, my job was small and not worth a lot of money. However, the measure of a great business is to treat small customers as well as your big customers. If you don't show up when scheduled, fail to add a job to your schedule, and keep lying to your customer about the arrival time of your tech who NEVER shows up at all...why would I trust this company with my larger corporate work? How you treat people matters, whether the job is big or small. This was unacceptable today and I did not appreciate that I had to keep calling YOUR business to find out what was going on, what happened to the tech, etc. Why aren't YOUR people communicating with customers? Why didn't anyone apologize? Why didn't anyone call before close of business to say, "Hey, we're not coming!" I was extremely unhappy because no one cared that I had taken time off work to meet the tech and no one cared enough to even CALL me and let me know what was going on. You guys dropped the ball big time here and were incredibly thoughtless and rude. Update: They just arrived at 5:36 pm. The techs themselves were GREAT and were able to do the work and complete the job. However, I wanted someone to know about the lack of transparency and communication today as it was very upsetting to me. The quality of work and the people you hired to do the actual technical job were terrific, knowledgeable and qualified. I realized it was not THEIR fault today, but I think it's important for people to know about the communication problems. I updated my review from 1 star to 3 because of the actual techs and their skills.
