This place was a great find! The dealerships overcharge and the knowledge and quality of most service department mechanics nowadays are questionable. Businesses need to make money but they don't need to gouge! Other quick service/oil change companies I've used left me with an uncomfortable feeling of substandard work after having an oil filter start to leak the day after service. It had never been tightened. The staff at Instant Lube are always courteous, seem very knowledgeable, and never try and sell products before they are needed. Instant Lube is a fast, clean, professional environment. I took in my 14 Mustang 5.0 Trackpack for an oil change and they did it in less than 30 Minutes. I've been here twice now. Both times the service has been top notch. You can go inside or stay in your car during your service. They offer coffee or water while you wait. This is a short review. Why? Because what else can you say about a lube place? They are friendly, fast and there isn't any sales pressure like at the other lube place (cough cough Jiffy). Had Instant Lube do my oil last time. Time to change the oil again, bought oil and a filter. When I went to change the filter, found they used the wrong filter. Did a little research and the excuse seems to be "we can't stock all different kinds of oil filters so we just use what we have that fits." Be warned. Too small a filter....engine starved for oil. read more

I have been to this Instant Lube many times. My husband takes his truck here, my daughter takes her car here & yesterday my son took his car here. They broke his tire pressure monitor & then told him he would have to take it across the parking lot to Discount Tire to have it fixed & that they would not pay for it. What!?! Yes, you heard that right! INSTANT LUBE broke his tire pressure sensor & they will not pay for it to be fixed. They said their machine broke it so it's not their fault!!! Again...WHAT!?! Absolutely NOT OKAY!!! I worked in the auto industry for almost 10 years & if our service techs broke something you bet we paid for it to be fixed. I will never go here again! read more

I have been here a few other times and today will be the last. I travel for work I know the truck is old and tons of miles but its a work truck. I am in town visiting family for Thanksgiving and getting ready to go home in southern nv. I had 6k miles on that oil. any other day I would have changed it myself but since im traveling I have nowhere to do it. RV parks frown upon it really. The guy that greeted me was cool when I handed him the oil, filter and additive. What ticked me off was listening to the tech under the truck start moaning, groaning and complaining that I brought my own oil and filter why cant I just change my own oil. Couldn't really say anything without making a scene because other people were getting oil changes and waiting. So here it is. Keep your mouth shut and do your job. I am a heavy diesel mechanic on the pipeline. I have probably changed more oil, greased more equipment and fixed more junk than the tech has seen in his career. I gave you $41 dollars to change my oil that took 15 minutes. I guess I should have just changed my oil in the Wal-Mart parking lot and used that $41 to take my wife out to dinner when I got home. read more

I took my car here for oil change and I am very pleased with the service and the price. I showed up early on a Saturday morning as from experience at other places there is usually long lines and I did not want to spend half of my day off there. I got there about 10 minutes before they opened for business, they took me in and went to work on my car immediately. They showed me where the coffee and magazines were and let me enjoy the quiet of the waiting area in company of my dog. They recommended a few services that my vehicle will need in a few months but did not try to up sale me. All the contrary, they recommended a different oil from what I wanted because it does the same job but at a lower price point. I do appreciate this as most of the times I feel taken advantage of at the mechanics. The staff was helpful, quick and thorough. Did I mention that they are young AND cute??? I was in an out the shop and ready to go on about my Saturday in no time. I will definitely keep this place in mind for upcoming car services. read more

This is the second year that I've gone here to get a smog and register my car. I had to wait about 30 seconds longer than I did last year. The whole process of smogging and registering the car takes about 3 minutes. There was a short line, but it moved quick. They apologized for the wait..lol, what wait..it took about 10 minutes from waiting in line until I was driving on my way. Plus, I got a free pen. Score! :) read more

I always come here when I need something done to my car...They are super friendly and quick with my oil changes and you don't need to get out of the car. You can watch them on the T.V screens and see them change your oil and they check everything on your car. Really like this place. I bring my pick-up over here all the time. Brought my car in for a service. Realized they have been ripping me off the hole time. They don't have a clue what they are doing. They make you upgrade to full synthetic every time. Stating the manufacturer recommends it. That is not true, manufacturers only recommend full synthetic on certain engines. My car is not one of them. Be aware they will rip you off telling you to get the full synthetic for double the price. Make sure that's what you need before going to these guys. read more

I would not recommend using instant lube because the employees there don't want to work. I called them just before 5 o'clock to ask how late they were open, and they said 7 o'clock. I battled 5 o'clock traffic to get all the way home to pick up the car only to get there just as they were closing five minutes after six. I feel like this crew was not motivated to work, because they told me they were open an hour past their closing time which makes me feel like they didn't want to do the job so they were trying to assure there was no way they would. I spoke to the manager on duty just to be told there's nothing they can do and come back tomorrow. This is not my idea customer service. read more

DO NOT BRING YOUR DIESEL HERE!!! If I could zero stars I would. We were in a pinch and decided to drop off our diesel truck for an oil change. ( after more than a dozen oil changes since owning this truck with ZERO problems) I got a call about an hour in saying they did the oil change and couldn't get my truck to start for more than 3 secs but we're going to keep reading forums online to troubleshoot since this WAS NOT the first time this has happened to them. They ended up having to call in a mechanic to fix whatever they messed up on it. 8 HOURS in they called said it was fixed, went to pick up and they had the audacity to ask me to pay, the attitude and poor customer service was out of this world. Not only am I now worried if my truck is going to run correctly, I was out a vehicle all day and my engine compartment is covered in oil!!!!! I am so disappointed with how they went about the situation. It could of been so different and I hope this review helps someone not have to go through this horrific incident. read more
