Just mention you saw the coupon on Yelp or online. No appointment is needed, which made it even more convenient. I stopped by on a weekday around 9:00 AM, and there was no line. I was greeted right away by Angel, who made the entire process easy. He gave clear instructions from start to finish and kept everything moving smoothly. There are two waiting areas: an indoor lounge with a couch and a small beverage station and a covered outdoor seating area. I was excited to see one of my favorite sodas, Mountain Dew Baja Blast, in the fridge! They also have a Keurig for coffee, which would be nice in the morning, although the coffee station looked a little dusty, so I decided to skip it. They definitely lived up to their promise. I was in and out in about 15 minutes, my MDX passed, and Angel explained that my smog certificate would be electronically sent to Sacramento within about 30 minutes. Woo hoo! As a nice bonus, if you pass, they give you a free car wash card at H2Go, which was a pleasant surprise. The shop can service two cars at a time, and everything was clean, organized, and efficient. Great customer service, great value, and a hassle-free experience. I'll definitely be back the next time my smog check is due. See you next year!

I expect any shop to tell me the drive cycle isn't complete and come back after driving the car more instead of wasting 35 minutes and charging me for a test that was doomed from the start. He also did not give me an estimate before starting, which is required by BAR. So I paid $70, wasted my time, got an avoidable failed smog test on the car's record, and still had to get it tested again somewhere else. I would've been happy with being charged and then offered a free retest but there was no such offer. From my point of view, the whole thing felt like a charade to get my money. To make it worse, he asked me to take a picture and write a Google review before I even knew the result of the test. Looking back, that feels pretty shady too. I would not come back here.

He is nice, well spoken, and a genuine down to earth dude. The funny part is Jamal worked on two of my vehicles at his prior job location before purchasing Easy Smog. With that being said, if you need a Smog Test for your vehicle Jamal with Easy Smog is the place to go in the HB area. They know what they are doing and get the job done right. Plus lowering the prices is not such a bad bonus!!! Thank you Jamal and Easy Smogs!!

How about that, no charge from a dealer. shop around, get your quote, and call around and check the $$$ numbers. Some people also don't look at the reviews, which would be me. Expensive mistake. The OWNER responds that they provide a 2-year warranty, which is why they are more expensive. Well if the work you provide doesn't last for 2 years, you have still covered your time and effort, but not for the client, we still need to come back and have the work done again, we lose time, but because your MORE expensive, your time is covered. Life is a series of patterens, how many folks need to come back for warranty work? You have numerous bad reviews lately. You need to spend more time taking care of your clients and less time making commercials.

The gentleman on the phone said the transmission fluid is for life unless I'm towing or carrying heavy loads. When I questioned why I see that it's recommended online he says that dealers will recommend this service all day but if you check the Toyota maintenance manual it says you don't need it. Man! I haven't even been to this shop yet and I'm already getting a good feeling about this place. It's a bit more expensive for an oil change than other places that have quoted me, but I like that they use factory parts including Toyota oil filters. I'll update this review once I get the car in for my first visit. Stay tuned.... 6/29/26 - Brought my Sienna in for an oil change + complimentary 30-point inspection (since it was my first time there). Jared took the van for a spin, brought it back and lifted it up. They found a little oil seepage coming out of the transfer case. I let them know that I did see a transfer case drain/fill on the CarFax report before I bought it. Jared thinks they just didn't torque it properly so they were going to retorque and clean up around the area and keep an eye on it. Worst case scenario, they would need to order a new drain plug gasket and I'd have to come back to get it replaced. Thankfully, the drain plug just needed to get tightened. I was in and out in almost exactly an hour just as Robert promised. Thanks The Toy Shop team!! Pro Tip: they are booked out at least a week in advanced so make your appointment ASAP!

I've almost never had to wait longer than 15 minutes to get my cars smogged and, with newer vehicles, the process is getting quicker so they can get through cars faster now. Pros based on other local business reviews: - Live person running the business - others seemed automated/impersonal - $55 for smog, I think that was the lowest I could find. Add'l fee for card payment processing - He has a waiting room Also, my tire sensor light has historically been on... some kind of glitch. Joey still checked my tire pressure (which is so appreciated since I am horrible at remembering to check)... he also identified the sensor issue, where previous service providers have tried to use the tire light as an up sale on a fake "issue". I wanted to highlight this as someone who appreciates good people and local companies. By the time I left he had 2 other customers patiently waiting - I hope customers continue to support Joeys local business!
