His deceptive and misleading practices as a business owner was costly and time consuming. He never installed the parts I paid for and he pocketed nearly $2500 of my money. After keeping my C3 in his possession for nearly 3 months, I can't comment on his experiences because he has no work to show for. However, he did misdiagnosed my engine and transmission and I caught him in time before he charged me thousands more. I wished someone had warned me about his deceptive business practices but when Rich ask for a "deposit" just know you'll pay about 100% mark-up in parts alone. This is only one example of many that I've encountered with him. Don't let him start work on your car unless he gives you an estimated cost in writing. If he doesn't give you an estimate for parts and labor cost in writing, it's best to seek another professional who will be upfront and honest with you.

The car was returned with damaged window tint, damaged passenger door panel, and mis-adjusted passenger side glass. The passenger side door glass mis-adjustment became evident over the following days after cycling the window up and down. Scratches became worst every time the glass was raised and lowered. I returned to the shop a couple of weeks later and talked to the owner. He totally denied any fault and refused to make any type of adjustment. The owners attitude was very belligerent and confrontational. I have used his shop several times over the years. This fact did not have any bearing on the out come. I will not be using this shop again.

At that point, I agreed to allow the work to be completed. He was clear that he would have to order in parts from the dealership and it could take a day or longer. Surprisingly, I received a call from Greg on the next day explaining that he would have to make some adjustments to the original quote. Of course in my mind, I didn't believe that it would be good news. To my surprise, Greg tells me that the revised quote would be $500 less. Of course, I was very happy to hear the adjustment. My second thought was, how trustworthy Greg was as a mechanic. I honestly wonder what percent of shops would have done what Greg did? It would have been very easy for Greg to stay with the original bid since I had approved it, but he did not. The moral to the story is if you were looking for a reputable, knowledgeable and honest mechanic, I can tell you that my experience met those expectations. Greg is a very nice guy and he knows how to work on cars. I'll be using him in the the future for my automotive needs. Thanks Greg!

I drove around the corner to find Greg's garage to obtain a second opinion. He thoroughly inspected my vehicle and then we took a test drive for which he charged me in total a reasonable fee. He said he could not find the source of the noise, but stated I didn't need the repairs recommended by the other garage, nor did I need repairs of any sort performed on my car. Within months the annoying driving noise disappeared as spontaneously as it began. I've been trusting Greg ever since as it's difficult to find a totally honest, experienced and knowledgable technician/mechanic. And, he's a great and personable person with whom to conduct business. Very disappointed in the work performed and condition of car upon returning it…read more I had a serious issue with my cars computers not communicating with other modules on the car making the car not drivable. This was brought on by previous shop screwing it up. Do I brought the car here and explained what happened and they assured me they would find the problem and get it fixed. After car being there over a week I went up there to check on it. The mechanic told me he had not even looked at it yet. After being there a month they told me they could not fix it. So I picked the car up and got it back in much worse condition. The interior panels has been pulled and just left in the floor the new blower motor wires had been taken apart and left hanging. The mechanic and service manager were arguing and cussing in front of us. When we were trying to put things under the hood back in place to try to start the car the mechanic told us we had to leave the shop area now and they would push the car outside. They left the car at the edge of their parking lot entrance. Many interior panels left in the floor and several under the hood parts left in disarray. Car had to be towed home. I do not recommend anyone taking their car here for anything complicated. It's one thing to not be able to fix a car but after a month and getting the car back in much worse condition is bullshit.

I brought my vehicle to this shop for collision repair under an insurance claim. My insurance…read morecompany paid the shop directly, which limited my ability to influence the repair process. I requested that the front bumper not be repaired, as the damage was only minor cosmetic scratching, and asked instead that the associated cost savings be applied toward repairing a dent in another area of the vehicle. I also stated that I was willing to pay any difference out of pocket. This request was declined because the front bumper damage was deemed part of the collision, while the dent was not. During repairs to the driver-side rear quarter panel, the rear bumper was removed, and in the process, the original OEM fender flares were broken. These were then replaced with used flares rather than OEM parts. The replacement flares do not fit as well as the originals and noticeably affect the appearance of the vehicle. Additionally, paint or chemicals were sprayed all over the black moldings causing them to deteriorate. I asked them about those small holes on the moldings, they said bring the car back after a few days and they will buff them out. The entire repair process took over six weeks to complete, which I found excessive given the scope of the work performed. They did fix the damage area but, in the process, they damaged other parts of the car.

One time, I had a power steering hose bust on a Saturday and they were quick to order the part and assist, since most shops/dealerships won't be able to on the weekend. Also, another time when getting an oil change/inspection, I asked if they could check for a knocking noise every time I hit bumpy surfaces. They did a thorough inspection and even assisted in securing some inner wheel housing panels that had missing retainer clips by installing some. They spent a good 15-20 minutes doing that for no charge. Very helpful!

Paul's took care of me and changed my oil and filter and I brought my own oil and filter. They also noticed I had a leak in one of my intake hoses and that was causing my engine light to come on. They told me they would tape it up and to drive for 50 miles and come back and my engine light went off! They also did an inspection on my car. They do everything here and I will be bringing all my business to them from now on.
