Our old (20-30 year old?) unit stopped blowing cold air. Called Eric today and he made it the same day. He spent an hour diagnosing the issue to eliminate all possible causes. Initial symptoms were the worse - a bad compressor. It turned out that both the running and starting capacitors went bad simultaneously even though one of them tested OK with the tester. He replaced both caps and the unit is back in business blowing as cold as ever. I highly recommend Eric with Integrity Air & Heating! I was having issues with a AC unit at a rental property of mine. I had already contacted two other companies who couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. Luckily, I came across Integrity Air & Heating. I spoke to Eric who was able to fit me in on the same day I called. Due to the intense weather in the area, my AC unit was not performing up to its standard. Eric arrived at the property as promised, was able to diagnose the problem, and inform me of the issues. After leaving the property, a power outage in the area occurred and the tenant had messed with the unit which caused it to fail. I called Eric again and he graciously said he would go back out at no charge to see what the problem was. Eric responded back to the house and was able to get the unit functioning properly again. He made sure my coolant levels were topped off. Eric also informed my tenant that certain actions (like removing the door to the unit and not closing it) will not allow it to operate properly. I am grateful for his patience with my troublesome tenants and keeping me in the loop. I highly recommend Eric and Integrity Air & Heating. He is very knowledgeable in his field among other things. Eric is a great guy, very professional, and explain the situation in the most detail I have ever experienced. He went out of the way to show me exactly everything he was doing, usually people would call someone to get things fixed and they don't really want to know how it gets done, but for me I always want to learn more, even though I would never be able to do it myself, I like to show respect in others expertise and fields. I was curious and had many questions, I had googled what the cause of the potential problem could be and Eric addressed all my concerns and gave me a good education. We spoke a good amount of time on the phone before setting up the appointment as well. First appointment, did a leak check and sealed up tight the motor compartment in the garage. It was blowing out air and should of been sealed up with serious tape which Eric did a very clean job. 3 years ago under a home insurance policy, another company replaced the motor but did not care to seal it up. Eric stands behind his work and goes above and beyond to do the extra as if its his home. Second appointment, came back to replace valves with a new setup, welding, new piping, filter drier, remove and add back 3lbs of refrigerant, he also went out of the way to clean up all the leaves and debris around the condenser unit, there was a garbage bag full. Learning lesson for me to keep that area clean to maximize air flow. Definitely old school charm and customer service we lack in most areas in today's world. Over 30 years experience and it shows. Very friendly, honest, and quite reasonable for his services. Will refer all my neighbors in need and post on nextdoor for my neighborhood. Highly recommend. I called Integrity Air Conditioning and Heating on Saturday, August 15, 2020, at 6:28 PM. The owner Eric Stanley returned my call at 6:35 PM. I explained that my air conditioner had stopped cooling the previous day. He asked me a couple of questions to keep me from shelling out money unnecessarily. He asked me to go outside and make sure that I could hear a "hum" from the outside unit. He then asked when I had last changed the air filter. (It had been two years!) I live in Richmond, CA. Eric explained that he lived in Antioch and that he already had a job in Palo Alto the next day (Sunday) and an all-day commitment on Monday. He asked if any other company had responded. I told him I had an appointment scheduled for Tuesday, the earliest I could get. He wasn't sure how long the job in Palo Alto would take, but he said he would call me on Sunday to confirm whether he could swing by my place in Richmond on his way home to Antioch. Today (Sunday, August 16, 2020) Eric called me at 3:05 PM, saying that he was on the Bay Bridge headed to my house! He arrived at my gate at 3:24 PM and waited patiently for me to return from the ATM. (He prefers cash.) Eric replaced my dual-run capacitor. He showed me the bulging on my old bad one. I couldn't believe how quickly he fixed my air conditioner! The whole appointment took less than 30 minutes. His flat rate was less than the quote I received from the other company for a diagnostic fee and an hourly rate, not including parts. He also complimented the air filter that my dad had purchased (but that I had not replaced). When he saw me writing the date on the filter as my dad had done, he said, "He must be a good dad. Let's hear it for the good dads!" Eric Stanley was phenomenal. He went out of his way to help me on a Sunday with less than 24 hours advance notice. He was patient with my energetic friendly little dog. And his workmanship is guaranteed for a year. He's the best! In sunday late afternoon our AC stopped working just as we had a heat wave approaching for the next several days. I called and left Erica Voice Mail and he called back within 10 minutes which I missed the call because I was away from my phone but he left a voicemail I decided to call him Monday morning at 7:00 AM and he was at my house by 3:30 Monday afternoon and installed a new motor and we had our AC working by 4:30 PM just in time for the heat wave to hit. It's no coincidence that Eric named his company Integrity Air. It's clearly how he chooses to do business and is a reflection of his character. My first experience with Eric was in 2017 when he was working on a heating system at a neighbor's house. He impressed me with his knowledge and thoughtfulness. My neighbor, who is also a skilled tradesman and maintains high standards, couldn't have been more satisfied. On that visit I talked to Eric about issues I was having with our cooling system. He methodically worked through my observations, took a look at our condenser unit, and generously shared some maintenance tips that I was able to immediately act upon. I offered to pay him for his time/knowledge, but he said he was just glad that he could help. Fast forward a couple years... our furnace went out. The system cycled but the burners never ignited. I began troubleshooting potential problems and figured out that it was likely due to a control board and/or gas control valve. I decided to call Eric to schedule a visit. In that moment I realized that my first encounter with Eric was not a fluke. He asked me about the problem I was experiencing and how I came to the conclusion that I did. After several questions he confirmed my diagnoses. He said, "You got this." and then encouraged me to proceed and provided specific steps. Without hesitation, Eric was walking me through the repair remotely! Buoyed by Eric's confidence in me and his thorough but easy-to-understand directions, I continued working on the furnace. At one point, I planned to buy multiple parts, but he advised me that it wouldn't make sense to spend money replacing functional components unless we knew they were bad. The idea that he cared whether I was wasting hard earned money is yet another example of Eric's values. At one stage of the process, I had visited half a dozen local heating/air con supply stores looking for a fuse that was particularly difficult to find. When I shared my frustration, Eric suggested he might actually have one in his truck and had me meet him at a job site to pick one up! Ultimately, I was able to get my furnace back up and running within 3 days - most of it spent tracking down parts. Along the way, Eric made sure I knew he was available if I needed him. In fact, I uncovered a separate issue with a zone control unit which Eric diagnosed... over email. The guy is so good at what he does, he can methodically assess a problem without ever seeing the system. Amazing. So another year has passed, and our air conditioning failed again. Eric was scheduled to fly to Alaska the next day to visit family, so he came out in the evening so we wouldn't have to go without a/c for the next week. Another hvac company had said we need a new relay, which was no longer available, so we would need to replace our entire furnace. They quoted us $6,800.... $3,200 of which was labor for a job that would take "a couple of hours." Eric replaced the transformer and, voila! I have no doubt that our old furnace probably needs to be replaced, but we will wait and contract with Integrity Air when the time comes. Thank you, Eric! read more

He called back almost immediately, and had a slot to visit me just 90 minutes later. He came, diagnosed and repaired the problem in less than an hour. If I could give Eric higher than a five star rating, I would. I came home late one evening after being away for a few days to find my thermostat registering 97°. After doing some troubleshooting, it was pretty evident there was something wrong with my A/C. I called Eric first thing the next morning, and he said he could be out to my home in the late afternoon. He got delayed on the call before me but he was great to call and inform me what was going on and said he be there just as soon as he was done. When he got to my home, he was wearing a mask which I appreciated since I am in the "at risk" age group. He came in, evaluated my AC unit, and told me the contacts on the capacitor were rusted. At this point he could have sold me a new capacitor, but instead he offered me the option of cleaning the contacts. He told me if that didn't do the trick he would come back and install a new capacitor and would only charge me for the part, no house call. Eric really renewed my faith in the service industry. He was professional, honest and his rates are reasonable. I will definitely use him for any future A/C or heating issues I might have and highly recommend him if you are looking for a quality HVAC person. read more
