Alfonso is the real deal. I came to him with a solid state hard drive from a 2012 macbook air that…read morehad crashed. I had tried to recover the data off of it myself using a SD reader I purchased from amazon. When that failed, I paid another data recovery business in Irvine (this was not Alfonso or Cyber Electronics) about $500 for them to try recover it, and they took many many months to give me essentially 1% of what was on that drive, with many of those files being corrupt. They then told me that the drive was toast and that there was nothing more to be done and pretty much still made me pay because they supposedly put the work in already. They essentially told me my drive was useless now and could be trashed. I felt very suspicious about how this company handled my recovery, so as a hail mary I brought my same drive to Alfonso at Cyber Electronics Data Recovery. I explained to him my situation and that I wanted to see if in fact my drive was fully dead. Alfonso was very realistic, told me the probability of recovery given that solid state drives are harder to recover, and told me that he wouldn't bill me if he wasn't able to recover anything. However, given the condition of my drive, he essentially had to do all the work of a full recovery first, put in the hours without me having paid anything yet, to even see if anything could be salvaged. Over the next few days, he texted me every single day to give me an update as to what he had done, and what still needed to be done. He knew that the last data recovery company really screwed me, so he ensured that I would get a different experience. I'm happy to report that only a few days later, he called me with great news...he recovered my drive...the same drive that a yelp 5-star Irvine based data recovery company said was toast and recovered almost nothing off of. His price was the same as what I paid that other company Irvine company. After going through my recovered files, I can see that Alfonso recovered probably 95-98% of my drive...this is an amazing result for me and I am extremely pleased. Alfonso gets 5 stars in all regards. He's a genuine, kind individual and his customer service is top notch. He deserves all the praise he's gotten from all the amazing reviews you see about his business.

Did a full diagnostic to figure out the issue, reinstalled Windows, updated everything, and even cleaned my device while I was there -- that was a nice plus I didn't expect. I also asked about missing bolts for my PC case and they actually took the time to look for some at the store for me. Most places wouldn't bother. Pricing was fair: paid a diagnostic fee to find the problem, then $130 to fix everything. Other shops quoted me way higher just to look at it. No upselling, just honest work. Can't say the man was particularly nice nor was his repair good either. Brought in my iPhone 16 pro with a cracked camera lens for repair. TLDR: the quality of photos is awful & blurry after the repair, especially zoom. Quality of photos is terrible after the repair especially in night photos. You see the light streaks in the holiday lights. Then when recording video, as you zoom in, the picture goes totally out of focus in the mid distance then back into focus as you zoom in. Close-up macro photos are not crisp. The man wasn't the most friendly person but with the reviews here I thought that wasn't important and he'd get the job done well. He was on the phone when I walked in and after some back & forth he agreed to lower the price for a computer battery down to $240 but was not willing to negotiate at all with me for the camera lens. I relented since he had great reviews. He gave me a whole $5 discount on $80 if I paid in cash. Then tried to upsell me on screen protectors for front screen & cameras. Photos & video speaks for itself. I won't be back. I'm out $75 (plus whatever it will cost to get a decent lens in my phone. I have a long time left on my contract so no upgrades for me) and the quality of my photos is garbage. Take what you will from this review. I hope your experience is better.

Chris is a cool guy that has been working in the business 40 years+. I'm grateful to have found his shop since most places don't repair VCR + TV combos. Thank you again Chris!

I would give ICC 10 stars if I could. I phoned Scott Burnett in a panic as I somehow managed to delete my entire Cox email account which consequently erased 7 years worth of emails. This is not to mention that my Cox email account wasn't even sending my emails out due to a change of the Cox system. It was a technical nightmare. Scott was busy the day I called and couldn't come to my house, but he said he had a 30 minute window and I could bring my computer to him with the back up and he would try to unravel the mess. 36 hours later he had completed the mission and retrieved my account with all my old emails. I couldn't believe it as the technicians at the Cox store told me there was nothing to be done. He also helped me create a Gmail account and set it all up so the old Cox emails would be forwarded. We made a later appointment where he came to my house to make sure it was all in order and he answered my various computer operating questions, fixed my printer, and added 2 internet extenders to improve our house hold Wifi. Not only that....while at my house he phoned Cox for me to review our current plan and ultimately determined that we could actually pay LESS each month and receive FASTER internet from Cox if we upgraded our plan! I repeat, our bill went down by $2.00 per month. I would have never known to ask for that! The icing on the cake is that not only is Scott truly a computer guru with very fair pricing, he is a really nice person with sage advice on raising teenagers in this internet age. He lectures at local schools on the topic and as a mother of 3 teenage sons I peppered him with lots of questions. I thoroughly enjoyed this whole process and what started as a nightmare ended up being a computer dream. read more

As a whole I was satisfied with my transaction with ICC. Customer service was great. I bought a "refurbished" HP laptop from one of the gents there. I went there on my lunch break and tested it out as much as I could with the time that I had. When I got home, i ended up throwing in an SSD into the computer and installing Windows 8.1. Once that was done, I noticed that the built in camera didn't work (computer didn't "see" it). After a little bit of digging online I found out how to fix the problem. The cable for the camera was not plugged in. I used to refurb computers myself and I did my best make sure EVERYTHING worked and were clean before selling them to customers and if something wasn't working I would make sure that I disclosed that information upfront to avoid any kind of negative repercussions. The only other thing that I didn't like was that the computer was dirty. There were grime marks (not finger prints) on the edge of the screen and keys. So much so that I felt the need to put some hand sanitizer on my hands once I got into the car after my initial testing at the shop. I'm not by any means saying theses guys were trying to pull a fast one on me. Just trying to let them know that something like this could have dropped their perfect Yelp rating, and it would have been over something that could have been resolved with a little bit of elbow grease and a 5-10 min search online. These minor things will not deter me from buying from these guys again! The products work and the prices are fair. Scott has been working with us for the last several years when we have issues in our office. We are a busy medical practice with 3 providers and more than 10 computers, 4 scanners and 3 printers. Issues definitely come up. When they do, we call, email or text Integrity Computer Concepts and Scott usually gets right back to us and either sends Josh out or he comes. Josh is great and so is Scott. I trust them both to diagnose the issue and get a fix that is the most cost effective. Managing remote IT sites in other states is hard. Managing IT at the Hyde Park Jewelry store in Newport Beach has been much easier with the help of Scott at ICC. I have been using them for a while now and I always get Scott as my technician. Last time I called him because my Internet was down. He told me over the phone a few things to try and walked me through it and in 4 minutes I was back online. This last time I called I couldn't get my emails to send but I was receiving emails. Scott remotely logged into my computer and in 10 minutes I was receiving emails again. He did some test emails and even had me reboot my computer to make sure it worked after turning it off. I couldn't print and I couldn't save anything. Great. I called my friend and he said my C drive was full. How was that possible? I don't store videos and I don't game, I called another friend and he said something was using up all my C drive but he didn't know how to diagnose it. What to do? Take it in someplace? Call the Geek Squad and wait for days for an appointment? Then I remembered Derrick. Years ago, when I was a transcriptionist, our service used him because he was fast, accurate and could even work remotely. With transcription, everything was stat and there was no time for breakdowns. Well, I looked him up under his company name, Unbreakable Solutions, and was pleased to see he was still in business. Because my C drive was SO full, he couldn't get in remotely to see what the problem was, but he carefully and explicitly texted me directions of things to do to get more space, and had me send him pictures of what the different screens showed. And it worked! He got in and discovered it was a hidden, undetectable Windows file that was eating up the space, and removed it. Good as new, and all done remotely! I called at 4:15 pm and was told they were 25 minutes away. I called at 5:01 and the voicemail said the office was CLOSED and here it is 5:15 and no one EVER ARRIVED. I realize compared to other jobs this company has, my job was small and not worth a lot of money. However, the measure of a great business is to treat small customers as well as your big customers. If you don't show up when scheduled, fail to add a job to your schedule, and keep lying to your customer about the arrival time of your tech who NEVER shows up at all...why would I trust this company with my larger corporate work? How you treat people matters, whether the job is big or small. This was unacceptable today and I did not appreciate that I had to keep calling YOUR business to find out what was going on, what happened to the tech, etc. Why aren't YOUR people communicating with customers? Why didn't anyone apologize? Why didn't anyone call before close of business to say, "Hey, we're not coming!" I was extremely unhappy because no one cared that I had taken time off work to meet the tech and no one cared enough to even CALL me and let me know what was going on. You guys dropped the ball big time here and were incredibly thoughtless and rude. Update: They just arrived at 5:36 pm. The techs themselves were GREAT and were able to do the work and complete the job. However, I wanted someone to know about the lack of transparency and communication today as it was very upsetting to me. The quality of work and the people you hired to do the actual technical job were terrific, knowledgeable and qualified. I realized it was not THEIR fault today, but I think it's important for people to know about the communication problems. I updated my review from 1 star to 3 because of the actual techs and their skills.

The service requested and provided is of good value, I'm able to leave every night without needing to worry about backing up anything or replacing anything because they know what they are doing, we couldn't be happier with the maintenance plan they offered us. Their turnaround is very quick: we needed 2 laptops & 1 tower, they built them and provided the service afterwards to program them. We highly recommend them, especially since they only do the service requested - if they find other things, they will let you know and provide an estimate.
