My technician, Sean, arrived on time and greeted my mom, who was accompanied by my brother. Sean was extremely professional and clearly knew what he was doing from start to finish as I was watching my security footage. With that, he also brought in another technician, I believe, for training. This shows that Fast Action Pest Control is going in the right direction, treating their customers with care based on their concerns and needs regarding pests, and needs more professional techs to service a growing population. Sean took the time to do a detailed inspection of mom's home, explained what he found, and walked my brother through the treatment plan step by step, and passed the message along to me for when I return back. He was very patient in answering my questions that I passed along to my brother to ask whoever came to visit, and made sure I and family understood how the treatment works and what to expect afterward. He was respectful of my mom's home, worked efficiently, and paid attention to areas that are often overlooked. What really stood out was Sean's professionalism and communication. Pros: -Forms of payment still don't accept American Express, but I won't deduct a star from that. Cons: -None at the moment, for being a returning customer for 3+years, would be nice if there's some way of a discount for continued service. I'll wait another 1-2 years if there isn't some incentive for me to stay; otherwise, I may cancel as other cost of living necessities are rising. And having pest services is a luxury, and not a necessity to survive. This company was prompt to respond to our request and made a thorough outside and ugh, inside assessment determining rats had gotten into our attic through eave vent and lots more under the home. They gave us a fair estimate and said they would come out frequently, until all of the rats were gone. They plugged up all the ingress/egress holes thoroughly and each employee, from answering the phone and email question, to Mitchell, Eroldo, Bernardo and Alex on site, has been nothing but helpful and kind. The technician, Richard, noted some issues, including some plumbing concerns--but completely failed to identify a major leak in the guest bathroom tub drain. After closing escrow, we discovered that when the tub is used, water pours out from the drain. This is not a subtle or hidden issue--it's very obvious and would have been caught if basic due diligence had been done (simply running water through the drain). I have video evidence of the leak. When I contacted the company to address this, Richard was extremely rude and dismissive. Instead of acknowledging the oversight, he hid behind a disclaimer that they are "not plumbers." That response is unacceptable. This wasn't a complex plumbing diagnosis--it was a clear, visible defect that should have been identified during any reasonable inspection. Between the missed issue and the unprofessional, disrespectful response, I have zero confidence in their services. Save yourself the stress and hire a company that stands behind their work.
