I had a great experience with Sean. He came out to service my mom's home, was on time, and arrived before noon, before I had to leave for work. He was very thorough from start to finish. Sean took the time to inspect my mom's home and carefully identified where the rodents were coming from. When I told him I noticed there were a few mice/rats around the backyard about 2 weeks ago, when we had some hot weather. Unfortunately, there were plenty of mice/rats and some babies in a pot, but he explained the situation clearly and made sure I understood what was going on and what needed to be done when he found them in our broken BBQ set-up in the backyard. I also really appreciated how professional, respectful, and detailed he was while servicing my home. He helped ensure the house was properly de-webbed and treated to keep it roach-free. Oh, and there response below is bullS*** they sent me to collections for canceling the shitty service. So now I have to fight them in court because they dont care at all about the service provided, just selling a monthly subscription and bullying you into paying for it even if it doesnt do anything. These people suck. Beware of the door to door over promise and under deliver scamming tactics. Even "loosely" going over "details" of your agreement and conveniently scrolling past the fine print when they need you to sign. I should have known better. Then, they show up for 10 minutes every couole months and specifically ignore the work you ask to be performed. Then if you try and cancel your services they throw back at you that you signed up for a year and if you dont keep paying them there is a cancellation service. Do not ever use these people. I hired them after I noticed some cockroaches outside near the cat food. I was wary about signing up for a subscription, but they warned me that a one time service was not going to fix the problem. I signed up for the quarterly service where they spray the perimeter and garage, and remove any webs. It has been over a year now, and I am so glad we use them and are very happy with the results. Besides getting rid of the roaches, we now don't get any of the occasional bugs inside the house. Not one spider, ant or centipede that used to grace us is anywhere to be found since we started the service, and I can't imagine going back. Highly recommend! read more

There are cobwebs all around my house. The technician does not work to eliminate them. The repellent they use is obviously ineffective. We keep finding bugs inside that we never had before with our previous company. We only switched because the sales person who just kept coming by and knocking on our door would not stop. I have been having a squirrel problem for years now, but never realized how extensive it was becoming until I started hearing falling sounds in the walls at different areas of my house. At first, I was in denial that rodents were able to sneak in. But I finally had enough, and made the call to Fast Action Pest Control. They were able to schedule same day service where they initially deployed Garrett P. to do a free home inspection. He was very nice and did a great job searching all of the concerning sections of my home. He bravely went into my scary, dirty attics and then up on top of my roof to inspect the roof transitions, vents, bottle jacks, eave gaps, and front porch pillar. He discovered many areas of concern. Things I would have never realized were an issue! Garrett gave me his professional recommendations, showed me his photos, and created an estimate that would install and cover all accessible openings with sturdy wire mesh that still allows important air flow without allowing rodent intrusion. He also noted an area that may be an opening made by the squirrels above my garage. A one way trap door will be installed, so that any varmints still inside, can get out, but not back in. Fast Action will return in 2-4 weeks to remove the trap door and do a final seal of the area. All of this also includes a one year warranty. The friendly technicians arrived on time the next day to do the installations and showed photos of the work that was done on the roof. My fee cost $750.00. Probably well worth the avoidance of any more property damage and the scary noises going on day and night! I'm strongly considering their services again soon, to rid my property of a never ending ant problem!! read more

I have been a long time customer of this company for almost 7 years. We have never had an issue until recently. We are signed up for their monthly outdoor bug spray service and Naomi has been our technician for almost 4 years and really liked her. However we recently had a very strange encounter where her supervisor (Alex) came out to our house and stated he received a complaint from his employee (Naomi) stating that she thinks we are hosing down our yard after she sprays. This is THE MOST ABSURD AND RIDICULOUS accusation Ive ever heard. Why would a customer pay a monthly fee, to then go outside and hose down and wash away the product? We have never complained or had any issues with bugs and it goes without saying that we WOULD NEVER DO THIS. When I asked Alex why Naomi thinks we are doing this, he said he didnt know. Recommendation to management: think before contacting a loyal customer to piss them off and make absurd accusations from an employee. This whole experience was extremely odd and seemed like quite paranoid behavior on behalf of the employee. They lower costs to pay for 5 star reviews. Gentleman came to my house and advised other neighbors signed up and told me they'd give me half off the first visit then 69 each month. I didn't take it. Persistence doesn't pay off...he kept mentioning it then he pulled up the company name saying 3700 or so 5 star reviews. I said that's good. He said if you leave us a 5 star review after the first visit as we're trying to get all the neighbors done in the area today I'll knock it down to 49 today and 49 each month thereafter ... well... he just told me how they "essentially" pay for their 5 star reviews. Offer lower rates in exchange for a 5 star. Well right after their first visit you won't know right away if their service worked or what happens with their guarantee of having to call the out off cycle. Yea - no thank you. read more

EDIT: They called me today after reviewing the screenshot posted and refunded my cancellation fee because they could see the miscommunication here. So I appreciate that they were eager to work this out. They didn't have to. I signed a contract and they were perfectly within their rights to take the fee. I think it's important to be up front with pertinent details (like cancellation fees), knowing that these contracts are long and people end up missing stipulations while under pressure. 4/5 for conflict resolution. Some of my points from my OG review (which has been edited) still stand. Most people don't like solicitors and I'm no exception. Pushy sales people make me uncomfortable. I get overwhelmed easily with a lot of info coming at me all at once, which doesn't allow me to carefully analyze my decisions. Don't love that, but it is common for businesses to operate this way. OG review: I got suckered into this even though I'm generally against pesticide use in residential gardens. They swore it wouldn't harm the bees in my garden. Also, one of my chicks got very sick and died the next day. I don't know if that was related (sometimes they just die) but it was suspicious. I asked to cancel future services via text after discovering the bees. The sales rep did not communicate to me that I would need to do anything further. Then I saw a charge from them this month so the account had not been cancelled. I also was not informed directly that there would be a cancellation fee, but I ended up having to pay $149. It was in the contract, but it wasn't mentioned at all in our conversations. 1/5 because the lady who assisted me with the cancellation was nice. DON'T GET SCAMMED!!! YOUR BEING LOCKED INTO THIS CONTRACT FOR A YEAR EVEN IF YOU DIDN'T LIKE THE SERVICE!!! Fast action is nothing but a scam. They will send a sales Rep to your house to sell you their service but the sales Rep will not disclose to you that they are trapping you into a contract for a year once you sign. They offer to come to your house the very next day to do the service knowing that the clause that they have in their contract only allows us to cancel this service and get out of their contract three days before the service is performed. They charged my neighbors different prices as well. The guy who showed up to my house to do the service didn't even touch the garage I have pictures and videos of cobwebs and spider egg sacs all through the garage and when you walk out the front of my house and look up you can still see cobwebs in the eaves. Just off that alone I told them I wanted to cancel the service and didn't want anyone back at my house. They told me they were still going to charge me the cancelation fee by sending it to a creditor after so many days of them not getting the payment from my bank. Your customer service reps over the phone Need more training... because it makes no sense that your sales reps don't tell your customers that we have a three-day window to cancel your service... Because they know if they don't tell us that and they schedule us within the next three days then that void's out the clause in the contract where we can cancel the contract three days before service without being charged a cancelation fee. IF YOU HAVE TO USE THEIR SERVICE (I hope you don't) DO NOT SCHEDULE WITH THEM FOR AT LEAST A WEEK ONCE THEY COME TO YOUR DOOR BECAUSE IF YOU DO... THAT VOIDS OUT THE 3 DAY CLAUSE IN THEIR CONTRACT THAT YOU HAVE TO CANCEL THEIR SERVICE BEFORE THEY SHOW UP TO DO THE SERVICE. (It's their way of making money whether we like/want their service or not after the first Initial appointment!) For those of you in Sacramento, Fast Action Pest Control is one of the shadiest companies to deal with. I highly advise you steer clear of them. They sold me on their service, claiming they would spend 20-30 minutes each visit (bi-monthly) completing service. After three visits in a row where the technician spent less than 10 minutes there and not even spraying an entire side of our house, and after two complaints where they did nothing, I called to cancel my service. Of course I wanted my service cancelation waived because they never even sprayed my whole house. They simply stated "We do not waive cancellation fees." So these guys can literally not service your house, then still charge you a cancellation fee. Watch out, shady shady business. EDIT: This guy says he has no record of me in his system, attached is my cancelation email from April 10th (4 days ago). I also have an appointment on Wednesday to talk to a supervisor. Yet I am not in the system? I will not be calling that phone number because the "on-site manager" i spoke to was not helpful at all. read more

The sales guy was so rude and condescending that I felt the need to make a review about it. The sales guy, Easton, came to our house twice yesterday; once around 3pm (kiddo nap time) and stayed on our porch for about a minute with multiple knocks, once at 8:05PM (kiddo bedtime). I spoke to him through our Ring camera and he said he didn't want to be there as much as I didn't want him there. It's like multiple knocks and doorbell rings at 8pm cause chaos with barking dogs and wake up the baby!! He would not take no for an answer and wouldn't leave. I told him I wasn't interested in a pest service and to have a good night. He still tried to convince me he was saving the kids and pets from spiders and other bugs. I told him he needed to leave and he STILL kept talking and asked if he could leave his business card. No forethought. Just tone deaf when I told him he woke up the dogs and the baby. "But I'm trying to save them". Dude, no. That is an unhinged response to a parent at night. GTFO on your little hoverboard. read more
