The valets in attendance were very friendly and professional and balanced all things well with their senses of humor. Each guest was promptly greeted and they did a fantastic job of making sure each guest received a raffle ticket, regardless of whether or not they chose to have their car parked. They also took the time to meet the owner's dogs who have a tendency to run. They also left their area clean and free of debris. Much appreciated. Two things really stood out, both to me and our guests. One was the patience they had with the children both arriving and departing. They were not disregarded and the valets each took time to greet the children and help them in and out of the cars. The other was the graciousness they had turning down tips. Not only did they politely decline, they gave credit to the hosts, "Oh, thank you very much. We are not accepting tips tonight, your hosts this evening have already taken care of us." The Valentine's are extremely generous and this year, every one commented on the outgoingness of the valets which I feel, is a reflection on who we are. Thank you very much. Don't trust their complimentary valet. They leave your car unlocked and roll the window halfway down while unattended and make you retrieve your car if they don't know how to start it. I brought this to the valet attendee's attention and he explained the window is left down to inhibit the chance of having to call a lock smith in case the keys are locked in the car. I asked why my car was left unlocked. The attendee, Brian, said "it was just 30 seconds," obviously not understanding that theft only takes a moment. When I called the valet's management, Tim of Integrity Valet, he blew me off and began to argue that it was ok that my car was left unlocked because nothing was stolen. Not the point. My car is my transportation and is used for my work. I don't have the funds to just go buy a new one or replace anything valuable. I couldn't believe what I was hearing! Negligent business. My interaction with Dan Hoidal in getting this booked was prompt and professional and they had very competitive in pricing. So I am generally not a fan of the valet parking situation at a lot of Phx area venues , but this past experience was actually more helpful than hassle. Ok so they were super fast and very friendly as we arrived and as we were leaving, nice but....to be expected at least hoped for.I was however definitely impressed when the attendant offered to run my girls water bottle back to the car when she realized she didn't want to bring it inside after all.
