I chose them after reading all of the great Yelp reviews to replace, change and add windows to my almost 90 year old home while doing a major renovation. Terry made some great recommendations for types of windows and we went with 11 windows! We had a major change order required by the City of San Jose during the permitting process and Lana, Albert and their staff worked through the stormy weather and weekends to get my walls reinforced and windows in. I feel like we were complicated through no fault of Integrity, but they were calm, reassuring and never made me feel badly about the extra work. Ragina in the office is so knowledgeable and experienced with the permitting process that I called her multiple times for help. Our old patio door was giving us problems, and needed to be replaced. The first place I always look is Yelp. I'm very particular who I would consider to do work on my home, and the reviews I read of Integrity were just what I was looking for. We drove over to their showroom to see what is new in doors, and after they showed us all the options available, we ordered a Milgard patio door for our replacement. On the day of the installation, the crew put up a plastic barrier to protect the furniture in the room where the old door was removed and the new one installed. They did a perfect job on the stucco blending outside as well as installing new molding trim inside. They cleaned up everything when the work was completed. We were looking to get a garden window replaced that was over 20 years old. Come to find out the old window had never been installed properly and the correct flashing was never put on. Integrity had us with a new window in a couple months for a very fair price and did an amazing job to match the existing window. I have a project to replace my current windows and small patio door with 4 panel sliding doors. After checking with few different service providers in the area, I found the Integrity windows & doors from the Yelp review. I am a huge fan of yelp, so reading such positive experience the others had encouraged me to visit and check out their shop. I met with their sales person named Terry. He was friendly and showed me samples of Milgard patio door and different options and features I should know. After he gave me the estimate based on my project scope (I brought the pics of my home on iPad and showed them the area for replacing the doors), he came over to my home to have a correct measurement. At the store, he showed me a similar project's estimate he had for his customers, which was from 2012. The estimate for my home was higher-of course considering the inflation over four years, maybe. I have also added another window replacement for a bathroom. This all added up to over $13K. This was twice expensive than the other providers. They all offer lifetime warranty and their own crew members instead of sub contractors. I so wanted to give a try and have the same positive experience like the others, but I decided to go with another provider. This was bit uncomfortable during the conversation, but one downside, at least for me was that the salesperson kept asking which other shops I was going to check. Being a sales person, he wanted to get the business for his shop, but it was not necessary to put the others down. After all, everyone has different experience even with the best rated service providers anyway. read more

This review is for the quote experience. I have been in the market for new windows since last year and taking my time exploring and researching. By far, this quote experience took the longest at 2.5 hrs. I did not expect this length, for most other quotes took about half hour. I missed a couple of work meetings because of it. But, the gentleman was very nice, and very informative. Where it went downhill was when I realized the whole informative talk was a sale tactic to drive up the installation price. He figured out my line of work and my husband's and figured that into the price or something. He quoted a whopping 100%+ more in installation cost per window. My whole estimate came out to be over 50% more than other quotes. He then showed me horror pictures of installations gone wrong, and how they focus on quality. When I tried to reason the high installation cost, I felt patronized. (Patronized, by a stranger, in my own home!) He cut me off from speaking many times, pushing the quality of their work. He then went on to rising prices for aluminum (I asked for vinyl, and my point was in the high installation cost) to warrantees to material shortages. He kept trying to sell the price I am avoiding to fix a job gone bad. I know I am an asian female, look 20 years younger than I am, but I don't like to be patronized. He also talked in imitated poor Chinese english accent when he mentioned his Chinese friend. I found that kind of offensive - coming from a white male. My view is this, if you are in this specialized business, I expect you to know what you are doing without paying extra than others in the same specialized business for it. I am not getting the guys off the parking lot in front of some hardware store. Why should I pay double the price just to make sure all the right bolts are in place when it is your job to do so to begin with? If the bolts aren't there where they should then you shouldn't be specialized in the windows business. If I am asking for handyman job, I can get it for a fraction of this price. But, I am asking for reasonable professional price with specialized service. If I go into Philz for coffee, I am expecting good coffee around the price of Peets or Starbucks coffee give or take $.50. I should not be paying $5 more roasting fee just to make sure the roast is decent. If you can't roast specialized coffee, then don't be in this specialized coffee business. I am not here for Folgers quality coffee. Nor am I here for Black Ivory. I was only asking for the Milgard Trinsic. Its one of the cheaper options. Not paying Black Ivory prices for it. I got quotes from half a dozen places from all over Bay Area, from Pleasanton to SF, to Gilroy. This quote was by far the most expensive. All the companies I called for quotes have close to or over 100 reviews that average over 4.5 stars. Most all gave me reasonable quotes that fall around to this guideline https://modernize.com/windows/brands -- except for this quote. In the end, I accepted a better quote elsewhere: double the amount of reviews, 5.0 reviews, honest quote - no sale pitch no fluff, no fear based tactics, double warranty, thicker windows, no patronization, and half the price of what I was quoted here. We ended up going with Integrity because they said they would work around our shutters, and would take full responsibility if anything happened to them during installation. We couldn't get that agreement anywhere else. I'm VERY pleased with our choice. Regina in the office is very knowledgable and friendly, Terry is a highly accommodating sales person, and Albert, the owner, came to our home double-check the shutter situation. Everyone on staff is extremely courteous and professional. The entire process from our first conversation to full installation was less than one month. The installation was done in one day, and the workers took great care to cover carpets and clean up behind them. And, of course, the shutters weren't damaged at all! Integrity Windows and Doors just completed the installation of our new front door. Throughout the process, they were professional and very responsive, unlike another local firm that we tried to engage with, who kept promising they would send us a quote and never did. Integrity got the job done earlier than they said they would and took care of everything. Albert ripped out and rebuilt our door frame when he discovered that it was almost 2 inches out of line at the top. For the last few years, we have had a door that was very difficult to open and close for at least half of the year. Now, it's obvious why that was. But no more! The door behaves like a door should and we notice it, because we no longer have to fight to get in and out of our house, or worry about whether we will be able to get the door to close and lock. They replaced my old vinyl windows and re-stucco on the outside. On the exterior work, they did a pretty good job. However, I was very disappointed on the interiorTrim work. I had them install fluted trim and they damaged it. The plinth blocks are not level and you can see they're out of alignment. They never prepped the plinth blocks as there's lots of putty all around them. The fluted trim is also banged up and damaged in some areas. Absolutely would never use them again to deal with any type of interior trim work. I'm now seeing staining and dripping from the top of the vinyl window trim as well as on the bottom of the window. Not sure what it is and if it could be from the glue they used or a defect in the window. Maybe this review will get them to come out. read more

We had new construction interior doors placed during the remodelling of our kitchen. Integrity Windows and Doors did a great job removing the original doorframes and took pride in not damaging the walls around each door. Demolition can be costly if patients and skill are not demonstrated during this phase of the project, requiring other contractors to do extra finish work at my expense. Overall the project went well and over several full 8 hour days, but I think they should have shortened the hours in the day for quality workmanship that is required in finish work. The framing on 2 doors was off and it wouldn't be an issue if they were not at the end of the hallway and you can plainly see the door moulding is not parallel to the walls (note picture). On several doors, the moulding did not touch down on the floor and it wouldn't have mattered if we had carpet in the hallways but we have hardwood floors (note picture). Their craftsmanship on mitring the corners was exceptional and thus this is the reason why I gave them 3 stars instead of 1. If I would hire them again I would be more aware of details at that time instead of months later or hire another door contractor to look at the details that I missed. read more

We just had our old windows replaced with Milgard brand windows from Integrity Windows. My wife and myself can't believe how nice they look and how they updated the look of our house. Lana, one of the owners originally came by our home to measure. She gave us lots of great suggestions that we never thought of. She suggested increasing the size of an already large window in our dining room and to change the placement on another. Looking at both windows now, we are so happy we listened to her suggestions. Lana's suggestions make a huge difference on both the inside and outside of our house. I am one of those that does lots of shopping and comparisons online and in person from every competitor. I spent over month doing research from every competitor in the Valley. I can say after all of my research, Integrity's were great prices. What really sets Integrity on a pedestal above the competition is their service and installation. It started when Ragina from the store called to schedule the installation. She was very pleasant and accommodating. We had a tight schedule to get our windows installed before a vacation, and she arranged to have their crew come out to start on the weekend to make sure they finished prior to us leaving. The workers were super clean, friendly and courteous. Everyday before they left, they swept and cleaned all areas. I couldn't believe the inside of our rooms had little or no dust everyday during construction. We had all of the interior of our windows finished off with contemporary molding. After installation of the interior molding, one of the installers did an excellent job finishing and filling all joints and nail holes. I assumed I was going to have to do this myself, but after a closer look, the installer did such an excellent job I can't even see where the nail holes were. I don't have to do any finish work at all. My wife and myself can't be happier with our purchase. We have another window project to do on our remodel and we will definitely be using Integrity Windows. The crew that came to work on our house was so great. Fantastic on every level. Our century old bungalow needed some serious help with a porch that had been enclosed in the 1940s with single pane glass, it looked good but had very poor insulation which made the room unusable for the most part (always too hot or too cold). A big name window replacement company give us a quote for replacing the windows at $22k which we though was ridiculous. Through the recommendation of a good friend we contacted Integrity. We were pleased from the get-go. Lana and Albert were absolutely wonderful and welcomed us into their family of happy customers. We were offered excellent quality products (custom fiberglass Milgard windows was our choice) at a fraction of the previously-mentioned quote. They walked us through the design and were very patient with all of our questions. They know their stuff, are prompt and excellent communicators. The installation was painless, non-intrusive, and near. The Integrity team-in-the-field, Nicolas, Carlos, and Jose, blew us away with the quality of work. I thought we were just replacing windows and retooling the entry with a new door, what we got was for all intents and purposes a completely rebuilt room with modern materials, insulation, and finishes. The room finally feels as though it is part of the house rather than a 70 year old cosmetically-altered porch; it's functional, quiet, secure, and airtight.
