But what I got was junk, dark brown cabinets, he said that was all I was able to get, and they came with all kinds of scratches everywhere. The man that came to do the job brought his 2 young children with him, both boys about 9 and 10. I also saw them walking over cabinet parts that were laid out on the garage floor, some had footprints on them. I even caught them looking into one of my cabinets in the hallway. Why did I wait till now to write this review? I did complain to the owner, I even took pictures of the mess that I got that I paid $11,000 for not the $9,950 that he advertised, and sent them to him, but he refused to accept the mail and I so I got them back. Every day that I'm in my kitchen, I feel sick to my stomach, there are 2 areas where the panels are separating, his answer was to put staples in there. So to see that this man is still in business means that I can still warn people to beware. I think I finally threw the pictures away, but I might still have them on my camera so if I can download them and put them on here, I will. Thank you for your time.

I had an inspector friend of mine to check the job because I couldn't be there when he started the job( I was working in the Bay Area My friend did a video call with me and showed me all the horrible things they were doing. I'm a single mom and saved for years to be able to remodel my kitchen, I wanted to cry, not only the work was horrible but, the way they were going to install the stove could've put my home in danger of a fire. Thanks to GOD and my friend, I was able to stop this horrible experience on time. Of course this man Rob scared me and threatened to put a lien on my property, but he couldn't do that because he was working illegally (not licensed) I spoke to a couple of attorneys to help me with this situation. I could've reported this guy, he would've have to return all the money that I had paid him already and more! But I was already too shaken up by this horrible experience and was afraid he would retaliate! He sent a document by mail that I still have, he was trying to rob me of thousands of dollars claiming that he was almost done with the kitchen. Please, please, please ask this company or any construction company for a license and check the license to make sure you are doing business with honest and knowledgeable people. I myself worked with remodeling companies and I failed to check this one because of my "good friend's recommendation" I called her and told her about this horrible thing and she seemed not to care one bit. Their website and customer reviews established a degree of credibility. After contacting their office I was impressed that a principal in the company, Regis, immediately scheduled an appointment with Ron, another owner. We met the same day and they provided a quote in less than 24 hours. Second, Regis worked with me to deliver a faster turnaround time than originally promised to get my home to market for summer selling season. They arrived exactly on schedule and finished early. I worked on-site with Noel who was extremely nice, professional, and accommodating. I brought cleaning supplies to clean-up after the move. I was presently surprised to see Pacific already had an in-house maintenance person on-site cleaning everything including the floors after the move. Finally, the finish product is very tastefully and thoroughly completed. I've been in the building business for 32 years and built over 60 furnished Model homes. I would rate Pacific Staging higher than any Model Merchandising Company that I've worked with in the past.

They scheduled the removal when we were out of town on a vacation and refused to reschedule it for any other time. We asked them to reschedule for another day multiple times and they continued to refuse. Seriously? There is only one day and time that you can remove your staging? When we went to the house after they had removed their items, they in fact, did take our belongings with them. They stole our items and took it with them. Granted, they were small decorative items, but they meant a lot to me. We did not get reimbursed for the items of ours that they took. And then, we were not allowed to close on the home without paying them. We are so frustrated. This company is overall very rude, unaccommodating and their staging is not of a high quality. I will never use this company again.

We stumbled across Orange Coast Remodeling's website while looking for a tile expert to redo my…read moremaster bath and shower as well as lay travertine floor tiles. We had recently fired my general contractor and was very skeptical of over promising under delivering contractors. I had received three bids for my project and OCR was on the higher end. Being on a budget this was a bit of an issue because we decided the minute the owner Louis left we were going to use OCR before the proposal even came back. Long story short Louis got us a great deal on materials and we were able to move forward with the project. Louis was patient with my design and questions and brought samples of stone with him. He listened to my ideas and added some of his own. Louis was fantastic and so was his team. They not only did the job at hand but went above and beyond helping with some plumbing outside of the master bath. Louis is an amazing plumber. We couldn't be happier with how everything turn out. I can't wait to call Louis back to do my back splash in my kitchen. I would recommend Orange Coast Remodeling to anyone. However, the coffee table I purchased has a marble top which is cracking, and was actually repaired right after purchase. The owner, I believe whose name is Michael, was less than happy about having to stand by his product. He has quite a temper. The real reason I'm just now reviewing them is because of what happened yesterday. A very large, $900 canvas print I purchased and had 'professionally hung' by California Design's employee/contractor, at an additional cost, btw, fell off the wall! Not only is my wall gouged from the corner of the frame hitting it as it fell, the back frame holding the wire also came apart. That will be difficult to repair because of how it was initially put together. What I am upset about is that the installer used two screws, with no wall anchor or being secured by a stud, to hold this heavy picture! Unbelievably sloppy work. It took three years, but it finally failed, which he knew it eventually would. I paid to have it hung properly, which it wasn't. California Designs is now out of business, and no wonder! Good riddance to bad attitudes and poor work ethic.
