Interiors Made Eezzy is the kind of local owned, small business that everyone should be shopping at more often. Norm was the most welcoming sales rep and not pushy at all when we went looking for a new mattress recently. There were plenty of options to try out. All were nicely priced, well within our budget. The one we ultimately chose is locally made and they were able to deliver within 5 days. We also placed a custom order there for new covers for outdoor seat cushions. The turn around time on those is a bit longer but that was due to the fabric we chose was not available locally. We are so glad to know this small business has been serving Culver City for 29 years and hope they stick around for many more. read more

My daughter moved into a new place and ordered a couch from Living Spaces that was not what she ordered and was not very comfortable. So on a Sunday we looked on Yelp and found this place. I'm not sure why I never wrote a review for IME since I am constantly sending people here! 5 years ago I pretty much furnished an entire apt with Norm's help. I purchased a bedroom set, dining set, tv stand and my favorite piece, my couch. I get asked about it all the time and the reason why I send friends to see Norm. 5 years later and after 1 move, I can speak to the quality of everything I purchased. Before walking into Norm's store, we had gone to stores like Pier1, Urban Home, Ashley's furniture, and Macy's. I shopped around at quite a few furniture stores before deciding to order my new sofa and dining room set from here. I thought that Leo and his team offered the best value for my money, plus I liked them the best! :) They helped me custom order a sofa to be very similar to a $3,000 sofa I had liked at another store. Leo was very helpful through this process and gave me plenty of time to select my fabric from all of their choices. My furniture was ready less than a week after ordering! Much earlier than I expected it. I was out of town for a few weeks, and was able to schedule a convenient delivery time once I was back in town. After my furniture arrived, I decided that the dining set didn't fit well in my space. I contacted Leo and he helped me find a better table, exchanged it for me, and only charged me a $60 delivery fee. Thanks to Leo and Norm. They are not pushy or like car salesmen. They put me at ease and were very helpful. They provided the information when I inquired, and were always available for questions. The two times I went there, they both spent considerable time walking around with me and I did ask lots of questions so they are patient. Great experience. I ordered one of their popular models but they said I could tweak it a bit so I shortened the length by 8 inches and made it 3 inches taller. They also built a matching ottoman with storage. The delivery guys were very friendly...I enjoyed their presence and they were sweet to my dog. Because of the customization it did take a few weeks before the couch was delivered (maybe 3 weeks?) but it did exceed my expectations and it is very comfortable not to mention, the model I got is very modern. read more

I had purchased a very nice loveseat with a pull out bed from a well known furniture store, however they did not have the matching full size sofa to match. After about 6 months of searching, I decide to visit Interiors made Eezzy to ask if they could custom make a sofa with the same fabric and color to match the loveseat. Leo was great about finding the exact matching fabric which was an uncommon light clay color. Once we had the fabric and design selected, it only took about six weeks to get my sofa. It's been 3 years and I still love it. I also have had lots of compliments from friends and family on the design and sturdy construction. I'm sad that they had to close shop, because they had such a great staff and quality furniture. Up until a couple of months ago I was still referring people to them, but then discovered they had closed. Just felt like it was my duty to put an honest review on here. It's true, the people are really nice. But the quality of the couches are sub-par and the salesmen do not follow instructions very well. Maybe I just got a new guy when I went in but they messed up my custom order and I sort of knew it was going to happen because even as the guy was writing the instructions, I pointed out that they were a bit unclear. He assured me it would come out like I wanted it to, which, of course, it did not. Also, the buttons on the couch all popped off with ONE MONTH of my purchase. It was not worth it for me to follow up with them but I'll be honest, I don't think I would purchase a couch from this place again. For the money I paid ($1300), I could have bought a much higher quality couch. Keeping it at 3 stars because the buying experience was very pleasant. read more

I got my couches there, in the style, fabric and color I wanted, no compromise was necessary because these guys can accommodate any taste and/or preferences AND at a great price. We have a circular living room and we needed a new couch. Of course most people think Austin Powers when it comes to circle couches. We came in here and they showed us all of the options available, both on the floor models and in their books. We were able to pick out EXACTLY what we wanted: a normal couch with two rounded ottomans. We also got to pick the fabric and fill to be exactly what we wanted. After countless nights of springs sticking in my back and hammock style sleeping, I decided it was time for a new bed. I passed by this place several times on my way home and after seeing the high rating on yelp, decided to stop by. Leo gave me a tour of what they had and only showed me what was in my price range, which i really appreciated. I laid out on several beds before deciding what I really liked. He didn't pressure me into anything and gave me a solid quote, guaranteeing delivery in the coming weekend. I was almost ready to commit, but decided to do some research online first and re-measure my room. I found the same exact set for about 18% cheaper online, but I really wanted to give them the sale. I spoke with Sam and he was able to match the competitor's price! It pays to do your homework. I was given two possible delivery times, which I thought might kill my Saturday, but I was so excited to get it at a lower price that I agreed. When the weekend rolled around, the delivery guys called me with the earlier time slot because they were running ahead of schedule. I got my bed set up before noon and didn't have to lift a finger. These guys are courteous professionals that know their products and don't pressure you into short sales. Take your time and come back with questions. I felt like they respected my inquiries through out the entire process, and this respect remained mutual as they gave me straight answers. I'm definitely coming back here for a sofa next month. We came to IME because we needed furniture for our new home and the Yelp reviews were very positive. Leo and Norm worked with us for a number of weeks and helped us figure out what we wanted. They were tremendously patient and helpful. We ended up buying a custom sectional sofa from them to fit our large living/great room. When it was delivered, we noticed the sofa had piping and buttons in it that we had specified that we didn't want. They sent their delivery guy back to pick up the sofa and fix everything, as well as take a couple of inches off the height of the sofa. There was no finger pointing or trying to get out of the situation. Their main priority was our satisfaction. I can't overstate what a refreshing experience it was. We have had our sofa for a few months now and are very happy with it. My only advice to you is if you're going to do custom furniture, make sure you know EXACTLY what you want. Every minor detail affects the overall look of the piece, and once something is built, rebuilding is extremely difficult. read more

What a wonderful buying experience! Relocated from a house to an apartment and needed all new (smaller) bedroom and living room furniture. Got a custom-made bed with bookshelf and lots of under-bed storage, 6-drawer dresser, nightstand, sofa and ottoman for about $3K total. Absolutely gorgeous reclaimed wood. You'll pay close to the same price at Ashley or Living Spaces but get nowhere near the quality. Delivery/setup guys were courteous, efficient and oh-so-careful not to break, bang or scrape anything. I was excited to go here and support a local business. I bought a mattress here two years ago. Less than a year in one side caved in. I asked them to replace it and they were extremely difficult to deal with. I ended up having to pay for them to come pick it up and deliver a new one after three months of fighting with the owner. The new one started breaking after 8 months or so even with me rotating it every two weeks (which they recommended). I've given up and resigned to the fact I've wasted $800+ here. I cannot say enough praise about this place. It's not too often that you come across a business like this in this day and age. Long story short, I found a picture of my dream sofa on the internet, just 1 picture with no details (size, specs, etc). I told Leo and Isa that I wanted the sofa to look identical to the picture (except I changed the color to black from grey). 3 weeks later the sofa comes in and it's almost perfect, but the deck and legs are a little short. At that point I had already paid for the sofa and they could easily have forced me to take it as is. Instead, Leo calls me the next day and says he will make me a brand new sofa from scratch with my requested changes and insists that he wants me to be happy. I'm a designer myself, so for me the details really matter! Highly recommend these guys! I will definitely be buying more furniture from them. read more
