I felt most places change ridiculously high prices for such disappointing results. I found this place on Google and I am so happy I did. Service is efficient, fast, and friendly. I feel extremely comfortable getting the full Brazilian done here. The personnel are highly experienced, professional, and non-judgmental. Plus, the prices are very reasonable and possibility the lowest in the city for Brazilian waxing. I've also had one of my first massages in this city at this place. The ladies have extensive experience and you can really tell in the quality of their massages. Their prices are also the most reasonable in the city as well. I received waxing services at Interlude Skin Care and Massage. Upon entering the establishment, I noticed the the place is very dingy and not very clean. The owner came out to say hello but forgot about my appointment so I had to wait a bit. The room where I had my bikini wax was also not very clean. Now waxing is never a pain free experience but a good waxer will minimize the pain. Unfortunately that was not my experience here. I will say it was quick though. She was all business and after the wax I was doused with baby powder and sent on my way. I would only recommend this place if you are in a pinch because the price is reasonable and the wax did what it is supposed to. However, based on cleanliness and the waxing experience, I would not be a regular customer here. read more

Dirtiest place. It's awful. I went here originally because it was close to work and I needed a quick wax. I regret going here, it was so unhygienic and the woman was so rude. There is definitely a reason why it's easy to book a last minute appointment! It was also one of the most painful bikini waxes I've ever had? I'm certain the woman is not trained..because it hurt worse than any other wax I've had before or since. Horrible horrible horrible!!! This place is so dirty and tacky. The owner who waxed my Brazilian was the worst wax I have ever received. She kept going over and over the same spots and she didn't even get all the hair removed!! Not to mention it was so bloody painful with her. I was sore down there for 2 days and she even made me bleed. I also couldn't believe the amount of baby powder she kept throwing on me. I was so turned off I couldn't wait to get out of that place. As I walked in, the lady came out of a room didn't say hi didn't say Welcome or anything nice just "You here for waxing? Go to that room!" There was paper all over the room. It was messy and not pleasant at all. I got my armpits waxed. She did it in a hurry, didn't take her time, there were no other customers waiting. She tried making conversation with me but as I was talking she interrupted me and said "ok you're done" and immediately walked out of the room. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The place was filthy, I only stayed because I knew I couldn't get in anywhere else by that time. She double booked because she said I only wanted a bikini waxed, I told her twice on the phone that I wanted a full leg waxed too! She was very abrupt and her manners were snappy. She then said she could make up a receipt stating I had a massage instead of the wax, I declined as I am an honest person, I told her that I wouldn't do that because I needed my insurance for real massages and no way would allow her to massage at that point. The. Health department needs to go in there seriously. I will pay a lot more in the future to get a safer, gentler and cleaner place!!! read more

Worst pedicure ever. I'll admit I'm a pedicure princess but this was by far my worse experience yet. The lady double booked herself so was bouncing between multiple clients, she was on her cell phone while she was working on me. She spent a large portion of the time trying to get me to commit to additional services while I was there. Worse yet my feet were rougher when I left than when I went! My polish looks like a child painted it. The paraffin wax was luke warm at best and I had to awkwardly jam both my feet into one bag. It wasn't even that cheap to boot. I went here for my very first bikini wax. I was super nervous but May has a demeanor about her that helps you relax and quickly. Appointment went very quickly, (less than 15 mins!). This place was terrible! Please don't go here. I got a Brazilian wax done and I noticed when I was in there that the woman had not finished cleaning up after the client before. She had just pushed the papers onto the floor and even left the old waxing strips with the previous girls "Brazilian wax evidence" on the counter. Absolutely disgusting. Even worse, she lifted the skin and then burnt it with the wax Terribly unhygienic. I felt like throwing up after and wish I had actually ran out mix wax because I am in pain and have burns. This place is very, very small and definitely nothing fancy or luxurious about it. No soft robe to put on or any water, tea or coffee while you're waiting. The massage felt pretty good while I was getting it but the next day I was so sore. And still a week later my left shoulder is still sore so she obviously messed up something in there. Went with a Groupon. The lady working there finished up with one client, and invited me into the room. She DID actually change the paper (promising!) but as i was laying on the table for a BRAZILIAN WAX (ie. genitals) she proceeded to DOUBLE DIP the waxing stick! I stopped her after the first go round and inquired. She said she only DOUBLE DIPPED the waxing stick on the outer portion of the leg. After I asked if it was new wax, she lied and said "oh yes, yes it's new wax". I let her proceed and as I laid there thinking about it, thought back and realized that she would have had no time to change it. I should have looked at the wax when I can in to see if it was a new canister, or when she DOUBLE DIPPED I should have stopped right then and there. This woman uses the same wax on everyone and DOUBLE DIPS the Popsicle sticks into the wax. I am mad at myself for not stopping her and now have the germs of many, many people near my vaginal area. I`m now just sitting and waiting for the STI`s to show up. So disgusting! Please do not go there! If you bought a Groupon count your losses. I want to report this and will find out where. WORST BRAZILIAN EVER!!! I have NEVER had so much pain when receiving a Brazilian! She made me BLEED!!! Another first! She was extremely careless. I feel bruised and sore. She also did my eyebrows, left wax all over my face, in my hair, some how got it on my hand and all over my down stairs. Her idea of "cleaning up my brows" is waxing half of them off. When I made the appointment, she didnt even ask my name. When I arrived, no customer service. I was asked "you here for waxing?" And then sent to the room. . The waxing room was messy and looked dirty and the end of the bed faces the door. Any one in the waiting room could pretty much get a front row viewing of my hoo ha when she opened the door, which she did. She interupted my service twice to answer the phone and help a customer. She did not let me know she had to do so, she just silently left the room mid-wax. I only ended up at this place due to a dealathon coupon. When I went to pay, she said I had to pay extra for the coupon!!! Seriously? STAY AWAY!!! Pay more for a better service else where. read more
