Bait & switch along with trying to scam me into a lower offer. They told me a offer that's "solid" and tried to scam me by hooking up their scam scanner to check the dashboard indicators and that noticeably messed with my electrical system. Had the lights flickering uncontrollably, had it in park and the shifter was indicating it was in drive, check engine light pops up, and some other weird radio flickering, so the sales man (owners son) said it's not working. I pointed out the engine light popped on when it wasn't the entire time we test drove my car and he said "yeah just not working idk turn the car off and On" Guy leaves right then, comes back, and gives a low ball offer out of now where because of "all of the lights popping up" I have to go find someone again to double check to see why the light came on, all the family workers were noticeably getting unprofessional and out of character. I still have someone check w a different scanner (seemed to be owner) came over blaming my car but i have him scan again just to see what he'd do... AND IN FRONT OF ME HE CLEARS THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT NOTIFICATION WITH HIS OTHER SCANNER AND PRETENDS HE DIDN'T JUST DO IT! Be careful with this dealership! Very nice, accommodating (Initially), helpful as far as the circumstances that I was dealing with (repossession, license issues) ETC. Unfortunately in this day and age you have to take a man with you to a car lot for the very thing that happened to me. I will admit I needed a car desperately but with what the bank was offering me idk if my selection was limited or nobody wanted to really take the time to go through cars with me. I only looks at two cars including the one I ended up purchasing. The car was SO DIRTY! And I mean DIRTY. The inside needed detailing BAD, smelled like dog, and their was hair everywhere. Even dog breath like substance coated the windows. The car was flat out disgusting, but again, I was very limited because I had to be at work the next morning. They did a "baby detail" car was still horrible but they promised to finish when I brought it back. I'm pulling off I realized the car stereo didn't work and was stuck on the backup camera but I communicated all of this to the dealership and they said they would fix it. A week or so passed I brought my car back to be detailed left it for 2-3 hours and upon my return they told me the mechanic couldn't fix the stereo. Like ok? So what's the problem? And MY CAR WAS STILL DISGUSTING NOT FULLY DETAILED. At that time they offered me a loaner car which was cool because I still needed to get to work. Keep in mind the front tire was completely flat they pumped it and I thought no problem it should only be a few days before my car is done. The following week I needed to drive up to Seattle Washington for business and I found that the car tire would not hot air for me than a day or two and for a trip like that it just wasn't safe. I mentioned this to the "loan officer" Felix who tends to tell everyone he is the general manager which is a LIE guys. This guy calls himself a straight shooter but he is a liar and I want to put emphasis on that. He preyed on my needing of a car to just sell me anything! He blamed me for allowing the car to have slow leaking tire and that I should have "fixed it myself" like what? Why would I do that when you guys sold me a less than whole car! That day I left the lot annoyed but he put 2 used tires on the front and called it good. To make an even longer story short do you all know he requested to have the car back and to take mine even though it WASNT FIXED! I refused! I didn't bring it back until it was completely finished which now I have an insurance payment coming up and my car note for a car I barely even drove since I'd had it! Their whole contract is a trap! While you are signing he is talking telling you what it is but I kid you not it's nothing he said it was. It literally was stuff to protect them from arbitration a two year warranty for seals and gaskets NOT A 2 year mechanical warranty as he promised had anything on the car gone wrong and dig this in the fine print it says they do not honor anything they verbally agreed to do for you! How sheisty is that? It's crazy as hell! Even told the guy friend I brought up there that I had no warranty and he owed me nothing he was just doing it because he wanted to. Its a slimy dealership I'm going to just take this and learn from it. Be careful! Know your rights. Ladies do not go alone! Only reason I gave 2 stars is because my car is still running but I'm going to knock on wood that nothing else happens because I cannot depend on them or even reference anyone to them! read more

Alright so I live in Seattle, my car broke down in Portland, and I had borrowed my brother's car to get back to Seattle. I had only a short time window (about 3 days) to come back down to Portland, get rid of my old broken-down car (I couldn't afford to fix it), and get a new car, or else. This was it. After exhausting some other options and wasting time, I showed up to International Auto Sales with less than 24 hours to go. I needed to get out of my old car (which I still owed money on, and had a broken head gasket), and into a new car. Any car. After talking to Lina on the phone I met with Felix, the Special Finance Manager. Somehow with my bad credit and crappy car he got me into a new vehicle that very night. I spent a few hours with him and Kevin through the whole process and they're easy to deal with, and fun to be around. I came back the next day to get it only because I hadn't brought the trade-in yet because of its delicate state, but he bought it from me just based on the paperwork. I got into the new car with I would say minimal normal expected markup, especially considering my situation, I definitely want them to make some money off of this. Anyway, they saved my bacon and I have a reliable car for the first time in I don't know how long and they did it in record time even with a real messy situation. (And I like the car.) Went here yesterday to look at an '07 Outlander. It took 20 mins for someone to help us and we were the only ones there. Red flag #1. The car we were looking at had a bulge in the tire and was going flat. When the "salesman" finally got around to helping us, he brought over the very unfriendly lot mechanic who seemed put out by needing to assist us. Upon further inspection we noticed that the front bumper was coming away from the frame and after one slight touch, the entire thing detached! The "salesman" continued to tell us nothing about the history of the car, their Carfax "wasn't working" and that they had moved all the car on the lot the day before and it got bumped with another car... ok?? Doesn't take off the entire front of your car and if it DOES you should fix it before trying to charge 8k for a rolling piece of garbage. EVEN after that nightmare of a car we asked about other cars on the lot. He knew nothing and tried to sell us nothing. This car lot is BAD even for 82nd. standards.
