I bought an interstate battery a little over a year ago and now it's dead. I went into the interstate store. They told me that it needed to be fully charged which I'm pretty sure it is bought a charger it's been on a charger nonstop. It's doing nothing. An iPod touch was brought in for a screen repair and battery replacement. One, they are WAY expensive. And Two, they did a horrible soldering job on the battery. SO bad it doesn't even work anymore. AND THEY ARE "BATTERY" PEOPLE! Wow. I provided a photo for the soldering job. It's absolutely horrible. Unbelievable. Don't bring your ANYTHING here to get it fixed. I had such a good experience here! I was having a heck of a time with truck repairs. The mechanic I had my truck at wanted to charge me $250 for a new battery and installation. My battery was 4 years old and still under warranty so no thanks!! I brought it in to this location, they tested it, confirmed it was dead, had a new one sitting right there and had me in and out! The two gentlemen that helped me were very nice and knowledgeable. One of them even gave me a recommendation for a mechanic for my boyfriends car! I'll definitely come visit these guys again! My family and I have been taking our phones to Interstate for a few years now for battery replacement. They are nice, polite, fast and do an excellent job! My iPhone battery was not charging at all and so I took it in hoping they could fix it. The last thing I wanted to do was spend a few hundred bucks on a new phone and then have to restore all my info and mess with that stuff. They said it would take about 15 minutes and cost $66.50 for the new battery and installation! Ha. Sign me up. I walked around and played with they flashlights for a few minutes and they were done and my battery is now charging and lasting all day with no problem! It's just like new. Horrible customer service!!! Employee was incredibily rude and refused to take credit for the damage they caused to my phone. They claimed to be able to fix my phone . That was a gross misrepresentation. The repair was supposed to take a hour, it lasted a WEEK!!! They just handed my iPhone back and said that it was not repairable because a design defect, and to top it off they still charged me for the repair!?!?!?!?!? I decided to get another opinion. The other shop took a look at it and informed me that Interstate Batteries damaged my phone by not disconnecting the battery, causing a short curcuit. The repair was finished in 15 minutes and my phone is like new. Bottom line; this is a battery store, NOT a cellphone repair shop! Go to the place on Williams if you want your device to be repaird quickly, correctly , and at a reasonable price. read more

I took it back and they put a new charge port in and the microphone worked, but the battery level indicator is now frozen in place and only indicates when the phone is rebooted. I went back a third time to ask about this problem, and the tech would not come out to talk to me. A little bit disappointed, I'll go someplace else next time. read more

Less than helpful. On a phone screen they replaced in April, which was warranted for 90 days, I was denied replacement when all touch actions failed. They cite that there is no indicator that I did not have the screen replaced between their original application and the date I entered for warranty service as they could not find a sticker. Can someone explain why anyone would go somewhere else to have a screen replaced and pay even more money instead of having it replaced under warranty at no cost?!? Because I cannot 'prove' I have not had anything done to the phone since the last time they replaced the screen, I am out money for either a new screen through another provider or I have to purchase a new phone entirely. I would not recommend working with this location/franchise as they will not back their warranty and will find a way around it stating that the consumer/customer is wrong and not to be believed. If you are expecting a warranty on a car battery forget about it. I brought in a failed 27 month old interstate car battery with an advertised 5 yr warranty. It tested bad on their equipment. I was told they needed to do further tests and would have to get authorization from corporate to give me any credit. That would take several days. They suck, their warranty sucks and their battery sucks. I took the batO'Riley's. A visual inspection of the battery revealed obvious defects. They also honor their warrantys. Incompetent rude staff. Terrible service. I brought my iPad to get the screen fixed. It took forever and then I recieved it back and the only button on it did not work. Pressing the button caused the new screen to crack. When I took it back they are now charging twice as much as i originally charged to fix their mistake. How can a simple repair of their own mistake cost me double the original cost for fixing their own mistake and pay for repairs that were their fault and not as extensive of a repair. I would not recommend their services to anyone. I will never do business with them for any service. Poorly run and a huge rip off. I could have bought a brand new one for the cost of the repair.
