I'm a new driver. It was the first time car problem for me since I bought my car. First I went to Les Schwab, they checked battery and said it's bad, need to change(cost $150-$190). But next day I visited them, they checked a few things, and said "Battery is still under warranty, we'll loan new one and gonna full charge yours, then check it again". Because I have a business trip later this week, I wanted to be sure my car was at 100% functionality. I called this Interstate All Battery Center and left a message. About a minute later, I got a return call (talk about responsive!) and was told I could swing by to have everything checked to determine whether I needed a new battery before my trip. Today I stopped by and learned my battery was still working well, and that because I have a small battery, it was likely that leaving lights/radio on for less than 30 minutes at the rest stop could have been enough to cause the problem. After I spoke with Dana on the phone and was told my particular battery was in stock, I jumped my classic car and drove down to Interstate in Raleigh Hills. The owner Dennis helped me out and couldn't have been nicer about it. I took the only spot available in front of the store, which was beside their giant pickup truck, and he even came outside and spotted me while I backed out. Super appreciative about that, since many people drive pretty fast through that parking lot and I was in a car that has trim parts that are absolutely not available. Great location, "above & beyond" service, friendly people, and not much more expensive than a AAA battery. If I could give less than one star I would. Didn't offer to test my battery, then quoted me a price for both a "need maintenance" battery (add water etc) and a "maintenance free" battery. I'm sorry? Aren't all car batteries maintenance free? Proceeded to try to install the battery but couldn't because "it wouldn't fit". Went to Les Schwab got the same battery and installed for half the price (yes including the price of the battery). And they tested my battery first! And it fit! My car battery died suddenly yesterday and I was in a pickle because it was stuck in a matrix parking system and it was in a position where it could not be jumped. Luckily, we found out online that Interstate can install battery for you on your car's location instead of bringing it into the shop! I called them and the guy on the phone was very nice and told me that they can come change the battery for me but since it was late in the evening I should call back the next morning. This morning my husband called them and Mary, who answered the phone, was very nice and promptly explained battery options and the costs, including labor and traveling. She told my husband that they will come by in a few hours and will give him a text an hour before hand. The mechanic (sorry, I'm really bad with names, DC?) texted us an hour before as promised to let us know he was headed our way. The mechanic came by in two hours since we called and he was absolutely wonderful! He promptly and carefully changed the battery in my car and made sure my car was working properly before he left. Explained to me the warranty and made sure I had a paper receipt. I absolutely loved how professional all the employees are and how pleasant they are to work with. The service was amazing I have no regrets at all for taking my business here the reviews are correct and that is why I love yelp. I have a Prius and my battery needed changing its not as easy a job to change the battery on a Prius as a regular car it takes a bit more effort. Two different other locations would not do it and Toyota charges an arm and a leg to do it. So conclusion this place is amazing the staff is amazing the service was amazing! read more

Nice and friendly young man. He tested my battery before anything, it had low volts and showed dead cells!! Urgh!! My car wouldn't start about six months ago, when I was down the street from this place and I walked over here and they drove to my car and gave me a jump and discovered that my battery connectors were corroded and replaced them... I was so impressed with how nice and helpful they were, especially considering that they only charged me for the parts! Therefore, I came back here and bought a new battery today when my old one went dead. The battery was five bucks less then where I have bought get my batteries in the past and I didn't get the usual feeling, that I'm trying to be up-sold or manipulated into buying things I don't need, that I so commonly get at automotive service/parts stores. Honest company- no rip offs. This place is incredible! The dealership said that I needed a new battery. I brought my vehicle to this place. They checked the battery and said it was low, but just needed to drive it on the highway because it had been sitting for awhile. They could have charged me for a new battery, but they tested it for FREE!. I am so thankful I double checked at this store. Never again will I buy a battery from Interstate. Went to the Interstate battery store in Raleigh Hills in February of 2018 to look at a new battery.. My old battery was not holding a charge for very long but the salesperson said it wasn't bad yet. Not wanting to get stranded I purchased a brand new Interstate AGM battery which I put on the shelf until May of 2018. Asking the salesperson about the warranty he tells me they are very good about warranty issues and would take care of me if I had a problem. Fast forward to today. Salesperson says two things. You didn't tighten the posts down enough, but it really doesn't matter anyway. Its out of warranty. So here I am, I got a whole five months of use out of my battery and I am out $90. This business is all about customer service and that's such a treat these days. I came in today for a simple battery replacement for my car fob. I casually mentioned that I was just trying a new battery because two of the buttons worked, but one didn't. I was asked "do you want me to see if I can fix it?" Uh...yes! He opened it up, looked at the circuit board, and said that a button had fallen off and he could probably solder it back on. (I'm incredulous at this point....) He fixed it perfectly. Not only were they priced under everyone else I called, installation was free. Poor guys spent over an hour, maybe 2, working on my car as my battery was not wanting to come out, yet the still did not charge me for more than the battery and brackets that ended up needing to be replaced. Interstate was not high on my call list because I was anxious about a battery store fixing a cell phone. Boy, was I wrong! I called the store and they needed to check with their tech, John, to make sure he had the part. Jonathan at the store called me right back and said John could fix it today but he was in Hillsboro. I gave Interstate Batteries a call and ended up talking to John (Jon?) who provided some of the best customer service I have ever received, anywhere. He was friendly, helpful, and efficient as he helped me make arrangements to special order the batteries, pay for them over the phone, and make plans for someone local to pick them up. What a great experience! Day started with a dead battery in my truck. Researched replacing it and all YouTube videos showed a long process of having to remove a bunch of parts to allow the battery to be replaced as it is tucked away (Thanks Chevy). At lunch I walked into the store to buy a new battery so I could replace it when I got home. Talking with the salesperson they said they could exchange it for me at my home for a small fee. 25 dollars I believe. Well worth the price! They were done in 15 mins! Thanks guys! read more

Dennis was very helpful on the phone and said he would be out soon. When he arrived he was so friendly. You could tell he loved his job. What a breath of fresh air. Seriously, these guys rock! They are so accommodating. Our motor home was in our shop and for some crazy reason one of the chassis batteries broke open. I couldn't move the coach so they came out to my shop (15 miles) the next day and exchanged the batteries with new Interstate batteries and recycled the old ones. My two 1968 Audi FOBs had needed new batteries for 7 months. A FOB specialty store replaced the batteries for $50 but would not program; an Audi dealer recommended new keys/FOBs for $250; a hardware store put in batteries for $30 but didn't know how to program them; and then, last week, I found Interstate All Battery Center on SW 76th Avenue! Manager Jon and associate, John, patiently pried away previous damage and, in minutes, installed and programmed new batteries in two FOBs - for $17.98. What amazing service! I drive a Ford and always get my car serviced at the dealership but I prefer Interstate batteries because they last so much longer than others. The dealership told me my battery was starting to read low so I called Interstate All Battery Center and they had a battery on the shelf for my car. They told me the price and said that they would install it for me at no extra charge! Seriously?! So, I drove over there after work, paid for the battery and stood there visiting with the gentleman who helped me while he installed my battery right there in front of the store. The whole process took no longer than 15 minutes! The most amazing part is that he installed something in my car before he disconnected my battery so that all my radio presets wouldn't be deleted!
