I'm very disappointed in the food and service I received today at El Tayta !! I have eating at this restaurant for years and I have also ordered out many times. Unfortunately today will be my last time eating here. I ordered a fried whole fish and it was so tough I couldn't eat it. It tasted old. The service was terrible as well. They were not very busy so no reason to have such poor service. read more

Compared to their Hallandale location this experience was much better. The ceviche was nicely portioned. I suggest getting the corvina or mahi mahi upgraded (for a charge) instead of the swai as it truly does make a difference. Service was spot on with cancha and drink orders ready to be taken. I will say stick to beer as the sangria was not very good at all. The pulpo a la parilla was spectacular. Definitely a must try! A bit pricey but then again most seafood places are. Omg I was really craving a salad and when we walked up I almost walked away, the photos in the menu do no justice. We decided to stay and try. I got the Peruanita Salad, with chicken as my protein and also for appetizer we ordered Causas with chicken. The food didn't just have an incredible balance of flavor, it wasn't just savory, the food looked beautiful. I could not have been more pleased. I wish I could take you back to Rhode Island with me. We stayed in sunny isles for a weekend and had a rotisserie chicken delivered via Uber eats from them. We also ordered a Lomo saltado. Their prices were good. We called anyway to make sure they were open and the person on the line was so down to earth and friendly. They were the ones to say we should order through the app. The food was properly packed and they sent a lot of ají as requested :) (very important if you eat like a true Peruvian !) We really liked the amount of fries they sent as the sides, they amount was perfect. I ate and enjoyed their seasoning :) quick delivery. Would totally order from them again if we lived in the area. Oh the limo was good! Not the absolute best I've had but definitely hit he spot especially at that time of night! We ordered around 10pm! So awesome we got to eat such delicious food because they were still open :) thank you guys for making good food even late at night! read more

It is soo disappointing to leave a negative review because I really enjoy this Peruvian restaurant in my area but I just placed an order for delivery and requested extra of the green spicey sauce which is very known to go with Peruvian food and I was just called to be told they charge $2 for the tiny small size and $3 for the bigger size. Are you serious?! That is completely ridiculous and greedy of the owners. Peruvian food is know to be ate spicey so how would you charge and if you are going to charge maybe 50 cents a little sauce. Things like this make you want to choose else where. Ridiculous and disappointing! read more

Ceviche was tasty, would have been even better if it was served in an ice cold bowl and slightly smaller pieces. Mine needed to marinate a bit longer, but the flavors were spot on. I had the Tallarin Verde con Mariscos on Mother's Day. I love this meal because although I love pasta, I'm not a big fan of cheese. A chef is extremely confident in his skills when he doesn't skimp on the seafood. I had a hearty serving of squid, shrimp, mussels, and calamari. This was our first experience with Peruvian food, but two in our party had spent time traveling Peru and told us that this was among the best they had had.
