They do not communicate with us to let us know what is going on, and it has taken five months for them to finally come and sweep out some spider webs in the garage. everyday i walk out my door, i am thrilled to see a building in dire need of new paint, trash everywhere, gates that have not worked in years, gate doors not requiring a key and a telecom system that worked once in 8 years. the gardening services are less than par, every neighbor's yard look like a hoarder's jungle. roofs get repaired during rainy seasons that cause leaks in our air systems - the city inspector suspects we have mold. do they return calls from those who pay HOA fees to a company that is negligent? no, because they barely speak english. they do absolutely nothing and are useless. they should be removed as our property management. read more

Zero stars is what they deserve. Can we get a warning sign for this company. They have almost zero communication with their tenants. And when they do communicate its usually to complain about something you are doing wrong. They never fix what needs fixing, the apartments look a mess, yet they dont hesitate to raise your rent. Recently they started giving notification for people with pets. 3 day notice to get rid of your pet or get evicted. Weve been living at this site for 7 years and never had an issue. As a matter of fact, when they first took over their representative was petting my cat. If you see InveServe RUN the other way. Just read their reviews. Their only response is the same one that seems automated. They make you aware that if you have an issue go to their website and ask for a service call. I am writing this review for Maria Capistran, our apartment manager at Edwards Apartments in South El Monte for the last 6 and a half years. Maria is always available when I need her. Whenever I had an emergency at the apartment, she was very quick to come over and help, even if it was late. I am thankful that she was on-site and could handle my concerns easily. Also, she made sure our maintenance requests were completed in a timely manner and we were not inconvenienced. She is very good about keeping the fire lane open and making sure our parking ports were only occupied by us and not unauthorized people. I am impressed with how much she cared for everyone's safety, well-being and happiness while we lived there. We're very grateful she accepted our application for the apartment and gave our family our first home. We hope the new tenants will have great memories of Edwards Apartments too. You may be considering renting one of Inveserve's units. Like you, I read the Yelp reviews of Inveserve before I moved into one of their properties and I was skeptical of them. I thought, "Wow, these are a lot of bitter people." I ignored everyone's advice, and I moved into a unit in Highland Park because it was cheap and close to work. How bad could it be? Two years later, I can tell you without exaggeration there was not a single day that I came home and didn't regret renting from Inveserve. TL;DR; The company views renters as cash flow, not customers. From a business standpoint, I can understand that but as a tenant, this is the very last thing you want out of someone who manages your home. Details: First, as many have noted, they do an extremely poor job keeping up the exterior and common areas of the property. When I first toured the apartment, the manager could see I was turned off by the old, decaying carpeting in the hallways, the epilepsy-inducing flickering fluorescent lights in the stairwell, the stained and smelly concrete around the garbage dumpster in the garage, the passive aggressive notes written on door signs (i.e. "KEEP THIS DOOR CLOSED! YOU ARE ALL ADULTS!!!"), the half completed paint job in the common hallway, and the alleyway that smelled of urine. It looked either like an asylum or a drug den. He assured me that they had plans to renovate the building and that they would likely occur within the year. I nodded and trying to withhold judgement, I continued the tour and examined the unit. At first glance, I thought the interior looked very nice-- it had been recently renovated with new cabinet and granite counter tops. I thought the problems I noticed inside (i.e. the ceiling fan was detached from the ceiling and unsafe to use, the laminate wood flooring was poorly installed and uneven in places) could easily be fixed. I pointed them out to the manager who assured me he'd send someone to fix it within the week. Needless to say, these improvements never occurred. In fact, every time I sent them a text or a question about the things we talked about during my walk through, I was ignored or lied to, then ignored. I quickly learned that Inveserve would only send someone out to fix something was if it could permanently damage the property (i.e. water damage). In those instances, the contracter usually left such a mess that I felt it wasn't worth it. He'd leave spackle all over the cheap laminate flooring, then walk over it repeatedly until it got ingrained with dirt and soot. It could only be cleaned by scrubbing the spackle out of the grain by hand. All in all, it was demoralizing to come home to an apartment building that looks like a drug den from the outside and to have reasonable requests ignored. read more

I contacted this company looking for a one bed one bath in Alhambra. Mabel I believe responded in a timely fashion. She said she would put me in contact with a Resident manager of what I requested and they would be having a open house that weekend. Once again a prompt email and follow up phone call making sure I got the info. My husband and I showed up on October to view the property and cute home. The property was very nice it is on Edith Ave. I was greeted by Rosa and Adam. The Managers. Rosa was quick to show us around and walk us through the process and answer any questions we had. They offered us water. Which I thought was nice it's on Edith We looked at the property and apartment. It was super cute. Everything was very clean the property and the apartment. The Apartment itself was spacious and well Kept which is rare these days. We keep Coming across unkept property old floors or neglected properties all together. They have plenty of parking which I was shocked because I have lived in Alhambra before and the Parking was miserable. The location is close to the main road Atlantic and Valley. Which made it easy to get to two different freeways. The 719 & the 10. Very nice and quiet all around for being not to far from main roads. A swarm of bees had taken over our front yard and backyard preventing us from entering our house, and I contacted Kaleb Wong, our property manager and he had pest control stop by my house within 2 hours of talking with him. This company has no idea as to the tenants fair housing laws. Evicting tenants after years of being in one place. So they can raise the rent a few dollars? This is not how a property Managment company should run. They should be trying to keep their tenants happy. They should be addressing maintenance issues in a quick and timely manner. Which they don't. Our maintenance requests come up deleted. No one at the office has any idea as to why. Patrick is rude, he talks down to us like hes above us. How this kid got into property management is a riddle to me. His knowledge of property management is sub-par, to say the lest. My neighbor left and was charged a cleaning fee, a painting fee, a smoke detector fee, and she lived in the same unit for over ten years. I'm pret sure that living in an apartment for over six years there are laws that protect the tenants from this outrageous charges. I live in old town Pasadena at the Messina apartments. I love this place! The apartments are located in the heart of old town walking distance from all the fun and shops of Pasadena. What I love more about this apartments is the management. The apartment units are kept in excellent condition. recently I had a water heater issue and I was impressed about how quickly the problem was fixed without no inconvenience or service interruption at all. I met KITTY LIU for a property in Pasadena. And she was FULL of PROMISES. Since you were first, I will rent to you. I will even lower the price. Just get your application in! $45 per application later (or $90), we answer more questions from her (social security cards etc)...and then - TOTAL SILENCE. We never hear from her again. She doesn't respond to emails. She doesn't respond to texts. She doesn't respond to voicemails. Lo and behold - we check the listing constantly and now find that it is no longer available! I call back from a different phone and voila! She picks up instantly. She says she sent an email but we have NO RECORD - not in spam either. She says our application was approved (whatever that means) but since the condo is gone - that is really worth nothing. They are doing anything to get you to apply and pay the money. This feels shady from all sides. Of course, the application fee is non-refundable they say. I am awaiting a call back from her supervisors to hear how they defend this type of employee that they have working for them. It's truly a reflection of the firm at this point. Wouldn't trust this "professional" one iota and I use this term loosely. read more
