Being across from Super Target does not hurt. Have an exam and then shop! Great hours and service. Trendy eyewear at reasonable prices. Very happy.

I'm so glad I chose this office for my vision needs. I browsed thru my insurance site then checked google reviews and it was all wonderful things. I called in a few weeks ago to schedule an appointment for myself and my daughter and the person on the phone was very helpful and was able to get me in based on my availability. I sent copies of my info to them via text and was able to complete the intake form that was sent to my email. My daughter already had her eye exam elsewhere so her appointment was just to check out some frames she might like. I showed up for my 10:30am appointment on Monday and in no time I was in the back getting my eyes looked at by lady at the front desk. I was informed about the optional retinal exam and the cost for it to see what my eyes looking like in the back and I decided to do it because why not, might as well get the works. Pretty neat device they have and easy to use. After I left that room I checked out some glasses for a few minutes and then Dr. David was ready to see me. Dr. David was so kind and very thorough with her examination. She answered any questions I had about the retinal exam and made me feel very comfortable. Glasses. They had a nice selection of glasses and I decided to get a style I wouldn't normally wear just to switch things up a little. The glasses didn't have any price tags on them so you don't know what the cost is until you sit down and go over them. I added transitions, anti-glare and some other stuff on my lenses because I definitely need it. I was told my glasses would be there in about 2 weeks and I can't wait!

The good: Making an appointment was simple and appointments were plentiful…read more The not so good: doctor immediately started recommending I choose transitional glasses without even examining me. I'm still so confused. ‍ He also asked if I had questions, which I did. Before I could even form my lips to speak, Dr literally said, " okay thank you for coming, have a nice day. " I only needed reading glasses so I went to the front desk to pick up my Rx. The guy handed me the Rx and said have a nice day. Well, they have an entire store of glasses. Why did I have to say something (sarcastically at that) in order for the rep to even mention for me to pick out a pair. No suggestions. No recommendations. No nothing, not even eye contact. I'm so sick of people in service not wanting to provide service. I felt rushed and uncomfortable based on how I was treated. 2 stars only for the location convenience (inside Target) and appointment availability. Also, there's a 2 weeks wait for the glasses to come in. SMH.

I was a little nervous about scheduling my eye appointment here after reading recent reviews, but…read moreas I had an eye exam here several years back, and had a positive experience, I decided to take a leap of faith. When I called to schedule, my insurance was verified with no delays. Upon arrival, check in was fast, easy and completed with efficiency. There were 3 employees present, who were interacting with one another in a pleasant manner during my wait. The wait time was brief, and the tech who completed the pre-exam was smiling and welcoming. Dr. Matthew Conlan, who was also friendly and welcoming, completed the eye exam & explained the process, ensuring that I had no questions before leaving. Check out was also efficient. I was told during my visit that a different practice is now in charge of this office, so that could have been the reason for prior negative reviews.

I went to the Concord Wal-Mart vision center because it took my vision insurance. I arrived for my…read moreappointment, did the new patient paperwork and waited about 15 minutes for my appointment. I went into the exam room and met Dr. Meredith LeBlanc. She explained her husband, Dr. Ryan LeBlanc, was the normal eye doctor, but he was away for a conf and she was covering for him as she is also an eye doctor. Dr. Meredith was super friendly, asked me about the changes in my vision that brought me in for an eye exam. She gave me good information about how my eyes work and the bifocals that I now needed. She took her time with my exam and was nice about me blinking while I waited for that little jet of air for the dilation. She was very personable, informative and I felt good about my visit. I went out to choose some frames while I waited the required time for my eyes to dilate for her to check them. They had a wide variety of frames from basic wire rims to some of the name brand frames. The prices also varied with a good selection under 50.00 (even a few under 30) all the way up to a couple of hundred for the name brand frames. While I did see some cat eye frame and a few trend frames...the bulk of their stock is plastic standard square/oval/wire rims. If you are looking for round frames (which would have been my first choice) or anything unusual, this may not be the place for you. I do understand, since they focus on basic glasses that would work for a wide audience who is looking for value. I found a cute pair and took them to Andy, the gentleman working the frames area, and finished up with Dr. Meredith. Once I got finished with my exam, I came back out to Andy to finish my transaction. He was also very friendly and explained the measurements he was taking and how they work on deciding on the type of bifocal lens I wanted. I made all my choices (including the insurance, as I have super bad eyesight and knew they would be hitting the floor every once in awhile while I blindly try to locate them when I get up) and Andy gave me a pair of the disposal sunglasses to shield my eyes after being dilated. Even when I went back to pick them up, Andy was very helpful and told me to stop back in a few days after I had worn them a bit if they needed to be adjusted again. I've been to a lot of places over the 40+ years I have worn glasses. I have to say, I had a better visit at this location than at some private eye doctor offices or big chain offices that I have been to before and spent a lot more money on glasses at. I would recommend this office and will go back again.
