It would be helpful if the clinic improves communication and scheduling to avoid patients waiting for long hours without care. Because of this delay, we had to go to another clinic for treatment. I complete my procedure with nurse and then I receive a Bill charged as a visit instead of my scheduled yearly checkup. The reason they charged me as a visit is because of those symptoms that I had at the moment changes the appointment to where they have to treat that. Unfortunately they did not take accountability and left me to pay a bill that I did not expect to have received. I make this review for the next patient who wants to come, double check and reassure the nurses what you want and what to check. If not, you will also be having to pay a bill for unnecessary "procedures" in which your insurance may not cover.

The doctors especially take the time to thoroughly explain things and answer questions (and we've had tons of questions). They have been very prompt with appointment times. We have never waited more than 10 minutes. Also, they are great with calling us back. If I leave a message, someone always gets back to me within about 30 minutes. We've had to use the weekend/after hours line twice and both times we got connected to a doctor very quickly and provided the same great service. Highly recommend.

Our first visit to Suburban Pediatrics was great. The receptionist was quick with the paperwork. They have two waiting areas for the little ones; one for sick patients and another for well patients. Each room has an activity table and a television pumping out kid-friendly shows. The fish tank that separates the rooms is my little guy's favorite feature! We were taken back to the rooms, all of which have different themes. Each room has a wall painted with old-school chalkboard paint for the kids to go crazy on while waiting to see the doctor. The wait wasn't long at all! We've seen 3 different doctors here so far, and each one was awesome. Their bedside manner with kids is superlative. My little one likes to squirm worse than a worm on hook, but the doctors were quite engaging and he actually stayed still enough for a complete check (...and the doctors won't share their secrets!!!) They are also part of the CMC network, so patient info can be accessed from other affiliates as needed. All around, one of the finest doctor's offices I've been to, and it's even better that it's for the important little people in our lives.

They assigned us a doctor but truth be told, we never have seen that doctor more than once - maybe twice? I can't even remember now. Our original assigned doctor was okay but I didn't feel that she took the time to get to know our family, my son. And if she was going to be his doctor full time then I wanted a little more attention, more caring, more hands on. Maybe I was spoiled from our previous pediatrician who was so wonderful with my son. Anyways, I digress. So whenever, we had to go back for sick visits or other check-ups, I could never remember the doctor's name and told them it didn't matter who I see. I can get an informal check-up or doctor's visit from any doctor so why does it have to be the same? I know you are wondering if she didn't care for the doctor why is she giving 4 stars? Our original doctor wasn't bad - just didn't give me that family feel I wanted. And all of the other doctors I have seen here are great. They all work well with children. The nurses here are also fantastic. They help and do the grunt work for the doctor. Getting the child in the right mood is most important - they set the tone and they do a great job of it. Anytime my son has been sick and I needed to get him - they have always assisted in getting him in right away. The one time they couldn't for an insect bite - they just told me to go to urgent care. My wait time is minimal. I don't know if I am just lucky here and time my arrival time perfectly with my appointment time but we are never in the waiting area for longer than 15 minutes. I don't know when they added it but they now have a check in Kiosk so if you don't want to talk to person at the desk, I guess you don't have to. But I thrive on human interaction and I prefer to do that. Check out is a breeze as well. My son may get upset when he has to get a shot but when he is rewarded with a sticker and a small dum-dum he leaves just a little bit happier.

The last 3 times we have been here, we saw the doctor an average of 40 minutes later. Yet if a patient arrives 10 minutes late, your appointment is cancelled. Talk of of double standards!! Also the wait area and review rooms is very drab, nothing for the kids to do. Maybe In that case don't keep us waiting. I was not going to write a review, but after talking to the office manager Vickie, I had to. She was not apologetic, made excuses for everything and lacks PR. Worst customer service!! I doubt anything will change because they are clearly not taking any feedback from their patients.

Avoid Cabarrus Peds unless you like never being able to schedule an appointment. They won't let you…read moreschedule regular checkups in advance, citing their policy of setting only a month's worth of schedules, but say they'll call you ahead of time to set up and appointment. Despite their assurances to the contrary, they never call. And then when you don't receive a call and contact them a month ahead they tell you that they're booked for six weeks or more (which totally contradicts they're one month scheduling policy). There aren't many choices in Concord, but this one is the worst.

This is because they only open their calendar for 3 months at a time. When I needed a well child check for my school aged child (once a year), they actually call to remind me to schedule. Dr. Obrien is our top pick, followed very closely by Dr. Peterson. They are both extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, and excellent with children :D

We've seen several different doctors before they assigned us to Dr. Braun. We've really liked them all, but she has been so great! When our son had an issue with his hand she did everything to ensure we were supported. She even called while she was off to follow up and check on him. They slow down and answer all questions, we've never felt rushed but they respect your time. First doctor's office that I've seen run on time! I'd highly recommend this practice.

I then had to call for someone to unlock the door to the building AND THEN they had to unlock the door to Elizabeth Pediatrics. Sign in went quick and we were quickly called to the back with little wait as we were the very first people there and the waiting room was empty. We wait in the doctor room for 20 minutes and still no doctor which is concerning since there's literally nobody else here. I go to the front desk and am told that the doctor didn't show up. No call, no show! My kids and I have to be somewhere 30 minutes away and I'm just now being told that there is no doctor. Had I been informed of this earlier, I would have rescheduled but no, I'm made to wait 20 minutes before I'm communicated with and only because I went out to check. I'm then told that another doctor will see my daughter and that she will be in immediately. Immediately turned into still having to wait. After nearly an hour of what should have been a 15 minute nurse visit, we finally leave. This is absolutely ridiculous!
