Low prices, really great service, very good pho that is better than most of the other pho places around here. I have only eaten pho here so I can't say of the other aid on the menu is good or not. Their house made chili oil though is a great addition to your phone and really adds a good flavor. Will definitely keep coming here. I was passing through Tacoma, craving pho noodle soup. I looked up reviews on Yelp and decided to try Pho for Life. The broth was delicious, and the chili oil had a yummy vinegar taste I am not use to... and I absolutely loved it! I live in Portland and eat pho often, in my experience this place is authentic pho. I image that they prepare their soup like they would at home. I'm definitely coming back someday! read more

So good! I have only had the pho and deep fried egg rolls. Both are amazing. It's like 7.50 for a large bowl of pho (unless you add extra meat then it adds like two dollars). Portion size of the large bowl is huge. I don't can never finish it all. They have tons of meats to choose from and seafood. I really want to try their other stuff but the pho is so good! This is the best pho place in the Tacoma area that I have eaten at. The broth here has a unique taste that I have not found at other places. The rest of their menu is outstanding as well. The service is also super friendly. The owners always play with our baby daughter and know our regular orders when we come in. Well, that got real. The cooks in the back messed up my sister's order twice. And when my sister said something and was willing to eat it, the cooks started to say degrading things. This place has consistently excellent Pho with very fresh vegetables and spices. I love their #18 (well done brisket pho) because it just tastes so fresh and has a very generous portion ! Their basil, jalapeños and sprouts are wonderfully crisp and flavorful. I have also tried their pad Thai which surprised me with it's solid flavor, mild spice, and authentic taste. I was surprised since Thai was not their main expertise but yet it tasted almost as good as a full fledged Thai restaurant would. This place is well worth checking out. read more

Friendly staff and delicious food. I've had the pho, bahn mi sandwiches, noodle salad bowls, spring rolls and fried rice. They're open on holidays which is nice since I'm single and alone and don't have a place to go for a savory meal. The store is clean and tidy inside. The food comes out hot and fresh. Wow this place is good. I'm new to Pho so some of my first experiences were hit or miss. After speaking wit ha co-worker about Pho he told me what to do and what to expect so I started branching out and trying new places. Pho for Life is by far my favorite Pho spot. I went here a few weeks ago on my lunch break and the place is just meh. The server was friendly but he was talking so quietly that I couldn't hear what he was saying. He also had some sort of roadkill on his head and really long fingernails.. I know that has nothing to do with the food or service but ew. (I HATE when men have long fingernails.) Pho is super fast because there's not much they have to do, but it took quite a while and I was the only customer.. The pho broth was just okay and they didn't have the hot oil stuff that other places have. The only hot sauce they had was siracha which I thought was kind of weird. While the food was good, please double check the charges. I ordered a salad which clearly showed $8.25 on the menu but when I looked on my receipt, I was charged $8.75. I brought it up and they said they hadn't updated the menu and that the $8.75 is correct. Pretty shady practice if you ask me. Horrible customer service... as soon as my family and I walked in we were welcomed with mean/ rude glares and not so much as a hello.. the server didn't offer water or drinks. The sun was beaming threw the window so my wife wanted to change seats and the young lady rolled her eyes and mumbled something.. as we were looking over the menu the server and an older woman stood by the register and stared at in such a bad way my 13 yr old says " dad.. why are they just staring at us like that? I ordered steak pho for me w a Vietnamese iced coffee, a kids stake pho for our son with a sprite and my husband ordered fried chicken with a Vietnamese sandwhich. They brought my son a brisket steak and meat balls with a pepsi. He seemed to like it but it's not what we ordered. The fried chicken was ok. The sandwhich was amazing! The Vietnamese iced coffee wasn't good. The lady was nice enough to make another but it tasted even worse than the first. Customer service was good but very slow.
