This is a luxury experience. Of you're looking to treat yourself or you are looking for a comfortable movie experience this is definitely the place to come to. The restaurant downstairs Tanzy I highly recommend all the food we ordered was delicious. They have reservations available on open table. When you come into the theater the loungers had blankets and pillows. I had no idea theaters had gotten this fancy and offered this level of comfort. The menu had a lot of options. I ordered a dessert (since I had dinner downstairs) the red velvet cake it was delicious and some drinks. Ticket may seem pricey initially, but I feel with the unlimited delicious popcorn included offsets the price. It's pretty much what I would've spent at any other theater with the popcorn. They really do a good job keeping it clean and nice. Although they could improve on their customer service (front desk and servers), I keep coming back for the experience. This place is amazing! I completely fell in love and do not want to experience movie watching any other way. iPic is located in Boca Raton which is quite a drive from Miami (55min away) and its a bit more pricey than your usual movie theater, but it is definitely all worth it. I spent a little extra for the premium plus seats, which are made by Lexus and are reclinable electronically. They give you a soft blanket and pillow with the seats, as well as food service throughout the movie. There's a button between the seats that you may call a server whenever you need a drink or an order of food. The regular seats do not offer this service, you would have to get up before the movie to pick up your food order. The premium seats also come with unlimited popcorn. My boyfriend's and I's experience was truly magical. The service was great, our server Greg was very pleasant and attentive to our needs. The food was delicious, which I would recommend the nachos and buffalo spring rolls. They have an extensive drink menu, and even if your drink is not on the menu they will make whatever you like at the bar. This is definitely the best way to watch a movie and a huge upgrade from a similar movie theater, cínebistro. read more

I celebrated my daugther's birthday at iPic Theater in Boca Raton last week. She invited a group of her friends to watch a Dog's Journey. They loved the place, the movie and the food! So, this was pretty awesome: cushy seats with recliner built in, a blanket and pillow, and a flight attendant style button for table service. Good menu items (those truffle fries are addictive like crack), craft beer that's local and of good quality (no typical "we have Stella Artois and PBR and call it craft beer" BS), and a fully stocked bar. From the 800 year old Malaysian wood to the leather floor and don't miss the wall made with sliced walnuts and real bonsai trees everywhere. This iPic compared to the one in North Miami Beach is definitely larger (or so it seems) due to the restaurant downstairs. Service was good, as one would hope considering the price tag you pay. I will say the menu is slightly less exciting than the one in NMB. I was longing for my Naanchos and BBQ Brisket Sandwich, but they had neither (!). We ordered the quesadilla and sliders and the sliders were barely warm, and the quesadilla wasn't anything special. In short, I'm biased due to our NMB experiences, but as an overall experience iPic knows what's up and is still a good place to jazz up a movie experience. read more

Upon entry I experienced a wow feeling at the beautiful facility. Since it was our first experience, we felt confused and uninformed. When getting our tickets there should have been an explanation of what to expect as well as procedures.We wanted to order food in advance to the movie and were given a special Premium Plus Menu but not informed about the special cheaper Prefix Menu they had as well inside the theater. We were surprised that pillows, blankets and 3D glasses were not in clean bags for sanitary reasons. My glasses were dirty and scratched and I was unable to see properly for the first 30 minutes. I finally switched them with the seat next to me. This definitely took the wow out of our experience. We would like to give it a try again but would definitely not do 3D until procedures change. read more

Honestly once you have been here you will be hooked and spoiled and never will be able to go to anywhere else to watch a movie. The location is beautiful, you can either park at the main strip, park in the parking garage for free or have the option to valet (free if you drive a Lexus). Beautiful lobby, up the escalators towards the movie theatre. The people here are always friendly and helpful. The seats are amazing! You have a blanket and pillow and are able to recline all the way. Soon after you sit down your waiter will come to get your order, we have tried many items on the menu and everything have been good! (Ask for the breakfast menu before 11). Normally order the tickets on the app, get there 20 min before the movie so I can read the menu and see what I am eating! In less than a year since we've gone to the movies here...They've really gone downhill with the 1st class service that once was! Starting from not getting thru to anyone on the phones...then leaving a message and NOT getting a courtesy call back. I was simply just trying to adjust my online purchase to my membership/points. Then once arriving to the movies, the hostess/greeter with ZERO enthusiasm told us what theater to go. Before they used to welcome you and usher you to your seats, making you feel like a true VIP guest. Finally the menu has changed...there is not nearly the amount of options. And what you get is sub-par. The new chef also runs Tanzy downstairs where we grabbed appetizers prior. My FAVORITE beet salad of all time, which I was looking forward to changed for the worst to the point I sent it back! I'm really thinking twice about spending the money to come here versus a fraction of the price to watch a movie at Cinemark, and just going for a nice dinner at a good restaurant prior. My company hosted a customer-facing event at this location, as it has several times before. Every single time, Alexandra Velez gives us wonderful customer service and is extremely attentive throughout the entire process. She makes it easy for us to book private parties, and the cost per person is well worth the exceptional service and unique experience that the iPic offers. The location is prime, in the middle of Mizner park - there's plenty of parking and shopping if you want to make a day of being in the area. The interior of the space is breathtaking and every square inch of it has been decorated nicely. The space is extremely clean, allowing you to fully relax in their recliners without wondering what kind of residue is on your seat. The food is great and I quite like that the seats are reserved - it makes it easy for you to get up and purchase your concessions if you'd like, or you can sit back and let one of their servers help you out. I've been to quite a few different brands of dine-in theatre and I can say that the iPic in Boca Raton is unequivocally the best of it's kind. Edit, 12.16.16: Fourth event here this year, and Alex and her team did NOT disappoint! Austin, Agustin, Roslyn, and all the management and serving staff provided us with world-class service. We took our daughter and her fiancé to see Thor Ragnarok and got settled with our food and drinks. Towards the end of the movie I felt like something was biting me on my stomach. I reached in under my blouse hoping it was maybe a piece of popcorn or something and felt this little creature. I grabbed it and threw it to the side next to the wall and got my phone out, put the light on to look at what was there and even before I could look with the light i could see there was another little black bug which I also grabbed and threw away. I didn't take the time to inspect what they were because my instinct was just to grab it and get it off me. I was so freaked out and went to the bathroom to check what was going on and I had a bite just above my navel. I took pictures of it in case I would need to identify what it was if I had a reaction. I went back to the theater and we all started looking around to see what might be crawling there. They have these fluffy blankets at every seat and who knows what crawls in those things? While looking around we checked inside the pillow cover and it was disgusting with yellowish brown sticky bits on it and dirty. I took photos of that too. My husband and I then went to the manager who listened to the whole story and then said he was actually the assistant manager and he would call the manager which he did. He also listened to the whole story and said he will call the general manager who was there too. He came and proceeded to tell us that all pillows and blankets were dry cleaned and switched before every show. He showed us a big plastic bag in which blankets were returned to the cinema; however they were not individually wrapped in plastic. I suggested that each blanket should come individually wrapped in plastic as they do on the airlines. Nonetheless, he said he would look into their processes and he would call me later the next day to update me and to see how I am doing. Needless to say I'm still waiting for the call and it's now three days later. I was not looking for any kind of compensation simply to have the general manager understand what happened and to care about the cleanliness and their processes and to address my concerns. Clearly this is an enterprise that doesn't care all that much. By the way, the food was excellent. However I am concerned about what I might've been eating along with it in the dark. If you go, good luck and be sure to inspect the food, the blankets, and the pillows in the light. read more

My mother is handicap. As she has als and is unable to walk or talk for herself. Staff were so rude both managers say you have to call ahead of time at least 20 minutes if you are with someone who is handicap. Which is not stated anywhere on the website when you book handicap seat . Those managers were rude and nasty. They did not a accommodate us in anyway and made my mother sit there for 30 minutes and then tell the people who were already seated in the row to relocate and have her walk 5 seats in dark which was a huge fall risk. She was crying and embarrassed with zero sympathy from management. They claim "it's an old building and unable to take seats out". Which is a lie. This place is zero stars. We then called the next day and told them ipic at Delray did not do that and made it easily accessible and manager said you should go there and hung up. Snippy and rude. As you can see from my history I do not post reviews but this one really hit home. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra 15 minutes to Delray ipic. Will report this to the ADA, people with disabilities need to be treated the same as others. read more

Witnessed one of the kitchen workers wearing a white smock leaving the woman's bathroom without washing her HANDS. Bad enough the bathroom is filthy , and you can barley breath as it smells like a urinal !!! but to see kitchen employees who like to relax and make phone calls during their breaks in the dirty bathroom lounge is repulsive! P.S Try not to step on the toilet paper which is dumped all over the floor as it will follow you into the Loathsome lobbies whose carpets stick to your feet with the ancient remnants of spilled soda and bodily fluids. Scene 2: Before you get comfy cozy with the "Bacteria Brown" infested pillow and blankets in the theatre, be warned that they are not washed in between movies so the "COMMUNITY" blanket is used by stranger after stranger..... I even witnessed a man picking his nose and wiping it on the blanket so beware.! Also, check the chairs as they also do not wipe clean any of the seats, you can find everything from melted chocolate to mustard on your clothes . Scene 3: Inferior food, Not only do we get a stomach ache every time we have eaten in the theatre or restaurant, there is something about eating in the dark that is unpleasant and I am surprised that Mario the manager allows on keeping the restaurant dark so that they can hide the thick layer of dust on the creepy faux trees hanging over the tables. Its depressing siting in a room that reminds me of "Lord of the Rings", especially The tree branch cocoon as you walk in is terrifying , all that is missing is the hobbit!!!!! In addition, The tables are not properly wiped clean and most of all the chairs have grease/food stains . Try sitting upstairs in the lounge area by the food stand and get a peep of the upstairs kitchen when the swing doors open!!!! The floor is disgusting and the shelves and counters are cluttered with boxes and dirty rags , the bearded workers were not wearing beard nets. I almost threw up in my mouth after I saw this!!!! Owners must have friends in high places at the Dept of Health , as I can't believe they have not been citied for violations!!!! Scene 4: Tanzy "manager" "- Not only does The restaurant feel dirty and looks run down , its starting to look like a storage facility with an stacked chairs in the hall way entrance to the bathroom and elevators. Be careful not too have too many drinks as you can be knocked down by an avalanche of chairs . According to managers Steven and Mario, we were told that the stacked chairs are not dangerous and will not fall on anyone so be my guest lean up against the wall or have a toddler pull a chair out for laughs... They both expressed no concern or interest in customer safety and failed provide an ultimate customer experience. Maybe next time we will see chalk outlines and crime scene tape from not so lucky customers who accidentally bumped into the unnecessary clutter of stacked furniture. Unfortunately Mario the manager was more concerned about telling us he was DANISH , maybe he meant the pastry because he did seem "FLAKY". ;) Scene 5 : IPIC claims to give you an ultimate experience , however the only thing that sets them apart from other theaters is that they serve alcohol and food at your seat . The clientele are mostly locals who consider flip-flops a dress shoe. Even if you want to dress well I would suggest bringing protective overalls . Everything else is exactly what you can find at other theaters so be prepared to lower your expectations. I have only been to this one once and that was to see The Hunger Games but it was indeed very beautiful and we had a great time. Seats were comfy and picture and sound were great. I had a gigantic tub of popcorn and a Pepsi. I don't really go to the movies much anymore but if I did I'd be back here in a minute. We also went during the afternoon on a rainy day and it was a really nice way to spend some time. Not to mention that the movie was great. read more

We screwed up the timing of our movie... we bought 3 tickets for 11:45 PM thinking it was for AM- OUR mistake... the manager found us seats even though the "deluxe" part was full we still got to see movie AND order food. He did an outstanding job of satisfying his customers- actually went WAY above and beyond. I forgot to look for his name because I was kinda stressed out and frustrated at myself- but HE should be commended for doing what he did- and we will undoubtedly be back. I'm not a huge moviegoer, but there are at least three times during the year, and perhaps four films worthy enough to prompt a visit. And when I do, I do it almost exclusively at iPic. There's valet parking, streamlined check-in, comfy seats that recline, well-trained employees, post modern decor, and a certain ambience that speaks to the overall authenticity of the place. And at $28 per ticket, it's highly unlikely that your experience will be ruined by an obnoxious patron, or a crying baby. The screen quality is downplayed, but never overlooked. Think "BMW performance", implicit luxury. Or, "Mercedes luxury", implicit safety. No compromises. The menu is specially curated to eliminate the need for cutlery, and to enable you to keep your eyes on the screen. The Coconut Shrimp, along with the Spicy Tuna Roll, are among the menu items with the highest price-to-serving ratios, but are nonetheless worth every penny. If you're looking for a more complete meal, try the sliders. Add a drink, and you're all set. If you don't drink alcohol, and you'd like to limit the sugar, try the Iced Green Tea; it's made to order, has--in my opinion--just the right amount of sugar, and tastes amazingly refreshing. read more

I've been here 3 times and even though I've tried several reserved seats, I didn't think they were "that" comfortable. The decor is pretty and a nice place to get a drink... Kind feels like you are in a forest at times, but I don't know, I'm not too impressed. I think the similar theater in ft lauderdale off of federal and Oakland is way more comfortable. This is the best Theatre in the south Florida area. I just made a negative review for the iPic in North Miami and I though it would only be fair to review the iPic in Boca which is by far one of my favorite experiences. The food quality is incredible for a theatre but even for an iPic. The waiters are so professional. I do my best to watch all of my movies here unless they are full and then I was forced to go to North Miami but I'll never do that again. I'm moving to New Jersey and only hope the iPics out there are as good as this one and the one in Illinois. read more
