It's a tough business and they try their very best. But some home owners expectant perfection and want to pay peenies. As everyone has said, Iplumb working in conjunction with American Home Shield comes up with $694.50 in additional charges for a hot water heater but won't allow me to see what the charges are for. everyone beware this company was assigned to us by American home shield. The timeframe was between 12 and four at 3:45 called and said he was in Buckeye and was about 30 minutes away from us. I said fine at 4:10 he showed up walked in looked at my stuffed up. Sink walked outside to see where the outside drain was. he said I would need to move everything out of the way the patio carpeting, etc. so wouldn't get ruined by what comes out of the drain. He walked back in the kitchen. I said OK I'll go move everything he looked at me and said how long will that take and I said well it'll take more than five minutes and he said that's too long and he would have to come back. He would need to check with American home shield because it's a big job out. Call American home shield explain to them that this man was rude and abrupt. Didn't really communicate much of anything. and I didn't want the same company back. American home shield said basically sorry but the same company has to do the repair and they would let them know that I want a different technician the next day I called the company and they did not have me on the schedule and they said that American home shield denied the claim. contacted. American home shield again they were told by the company I need a new drain and that would be an extra $395. I was totally taking it back and frustrated and I said thanks but no thanks call the different plumber that I had used through American home shield earlier in the year he came out fixed it in two hours and I did not need a new drain is very difficult to work with people that are not honest and I don't believe I plum was honest they either didn't want to do the job because it was late in the day. after so many years with American home shield they did not provide customer service. 1star read more

Screw this company. I went through them through AHS and they came out a day after another company had to pull my water heater to prevent more damage to my house in the garage. It was extremely obvious that the water heater was leaking. The company told my insurance they couldn't diagnose anything. Told me to put the water heater back on myself so he can see it leak. I needed a water heater looked at, so I went through my warranty company American Home Shield. They set me up with IPlumb, before the tech even came out, the company decided to just set a time without even speaking to anyone. The tech came out and said it needed to be replaced. They tried to say that it needed modifications to be replaced which they knew that AHS would not cover it. After a week of arguing with AHS, IPlumb decided to scam AHS and say the job was complete and charge them even though I never accepted anything. I hope that future people read this before they set a time with this company. read more

I do not recommend this company. I'm a builder myself first it's very small company second the owner has attitude and it has to be his way. Not your way as a customer . third they have no idea about Eco flush system. They don't pay attention if the flash handle it's to the left or to the right they don't care you must accept it as a customer. Called them after they try to fix my toilet and it was wobbling. The owner said it's normal, where do you see wobbling tank it's OK or normal, they'll tell you they show up at 9 o'clock. Good luck with that they'll give you second appointment to show up They don't . They wont call to say sorry we could not make it . every time you speak to the owner looks like he is your boss, he tell you it's fine and you have to accept it. If you try to explain, he will hang up on you. I don't recommend this company and if you're going through American shield, they assign it to you remember this name and just reject it because otherwise you will go through what I went through it's been over, 2 weeks just for eco flush bladder tank and still is not done yet. You ask the owner, the owner, that the Eco bladder has no pressure control valve that I can control the PCI pressure and his respond was oh it's normal . I wish if I can give them ( negative ) 5 stars I do not recommend this company at all . as a builder that I know and my experience with homes. Do not get this company to fix anything in your house. Iplumb was the company assigned to our service request through AHS. Steven was the plumber that came out and he was awesome. He came out Friday morning (11/3) but he wasn't able to do much because in order to find the source of our leak, the walls had to be opened up. He put in the request for the mitigation company and they were here within a few hours. Steven came back on Monday (11/6) and we were his last stop of the day. He had to replace the supply line to our hot heater. It was already after 6 pm but after telling him we had no hot water, he went and got the parts he needed and came back and got to work. He was very professional and kind. Steven went above and beyond for us and we really appreciate him working late so we could have our hot water back. read more

I had to call them 5 times just to get a response, and the office person told me they did get all of my messages but didn't have time to get back with me. Then they didn't show up to the appointment and no phone call at all to let me know. (waiting all day) The had to come out 3 times because they didn't fix it right the first two times. John, the service technician came out. He wrote on the ticket. I needed cartridges for a sink faucet and bathroom faucet. Then proceeded to say he couldn't locate them which guy the customer did at Home Depot and Ferguson. He claimed he needed a camper instead to not have it covered by the home warranty. I am a 30-plus year veteran as a Real Estate Professional. American Home Shield was my home warranty up until I had this company come out and do a simple repair, a shower head, and a diverter in the hall bath. The repairs were done but my cold and hot water are reversed in both bathrooms. I canceled my policy with American Home Shield after the company came out the second time and said to leave the water running both hot and cold, for a while, that it was not reversed. I have lived in my house for almost 3 years and I have never had reversed hot and cold. I do now. I called American Home Shield and they told me since I canceled my policy it was not their problem anymore, really? I finally heard from someone in the resolution dept at American Home Shield after I called and called about this matter. The Resolution Dept as of last week told me that they would have the same company but a different plumber come out and that I Plumb would call me for an appointment. I have not heard from Iplum yet and I am going to call American Home Shield again. I just want the problem fixed and I am tired of getting no response from this company. Initially called in for a stoppage and found out it was actually a leak after 2 services appointments where they did nothing but assess the situation and a third that they canceled and never called me back I still have nothing useful done. When I called about them never returning my call they stated my home warranty closed it out which was an outright lie because I promptly called my home warranty who called iplumb and iplumb said they refused to service my home. After this large ordeal where they did nothing but procrastinate and possibly let the leak get much worse I will never use there service again. read more

I was sent to this company by AHS. I understood there were additional charges not covered by my plan and I just wanted to understand what the plumber was actually going to do. Their customer service is awful. They did not like that I was asking question. I understand their frustration when people do not have full coverage and do not expect additional charges. I was not that person. As I spoke with the owner, things did not get better. I do not recommend them at all. I called AHS and got assigned another plumber to finish the job. They may do fine plumbing work, however their customer service is what gets them in trouble. read more

Our home warranty assigned this company to come out and assess our sump pump issue, they came out and was here less than 20min and informed us we had a bad pump that needed to be replaced and they would inform our home warranty so that they could order a new pump and come back to install it.....we never heard back from iPlumb! In fact after contacting the home warranty we found out that they informed that that our sump pump was bad due to NOT being normal wear and tear which allowed the home warranty to not approve our pump replacement and therefore requiring us to come out of pocket for $2500 for a new pump!! This is bad business strategy at its best!!! We will be contacting the ROC regarding this practice and any other complaint we can file along with it!!! We in turn asked our home warranty for a 2nd opinion by another company....they came out and after over an hour of doing their due diligence submitted their findings to the home warranty company and we were immediately approved for a pump replacement DUE TO NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR!! We had a couple plumbing issues in our home. Danielle was extremely responsive, courteous, and accommodating to help us get our issues resolved. No matter how busy she was, she still answered the phone and spent time answering our questions. Also responsive over text and very responsible. She has excellent customer service skills, which is impossible to find from companies nowadays. Our home warranty sent this company for a valve issue. The guy they sent was incredibly rude and didn't want to listen... Instead, he decided to talk to me like I was an idiot about how water moves through the pipes (it's basic knowledge). We were having an issue getting warm water... We would either get cold water or hot water. He came in and got the hot water working, which was not the issue. I turned the Fossett back on to show him what I meant and that's when he started telling me I needed to wait 15 minutes for the water to get hot again and we hadn't even let the water run previously for more than two minutes. He basically told me everything is fine and even reported that our home warranty. We ended up having to get a second opinion and our home warranty sent out another company who fixed exactly what I thought was wrong. To top it all off I called the owner of the company And told him what my experience was, and he was very aggressive, and gave me a very forced apology. If I could give zero stars I would. Seriously the worst experience I've ever had. read more

Then i get an email saying they were coming from 12- 3 now. I called and someone answered and he (very flippantly) said that, not only were they not going to honor the 9-12 OR EVEN the 12-3 but that i was going to have to scheduled another day. Iplumb was assigned my job by the home warranty company AHS. After about 3 days of trying to get ahold of them on the phone, they finally set up an appointment - a 4-hour window - so I took off of work to be home during the window. They missed the appointment completely. I called back and rescheduled. Guess what? They missed that one too. I finally got a hold of the service tech and he said that my issue (a rusted out toilet flange) was not covered and he would need to talk to AHS. Then he proceeds to lie to AHS and said it was "broken" by the customer...he's never even been to the property or seen it!!! So they missed two appointments and then fabricate a reason for not wanting to do the job they signed up for. read more

We had I-Plumb come out as a recommendation from our AAA home warranty. They came and found the bathtub leak, and completed the work . We paid them for their service. Our issue with them was when we needed them to submit a copy of the work order with the job number and description, and e-mail it over to AAA. We called numerous times, and were "promised" it would get done. We even explained that we couldn't continue with our drywall getting done, until AAA had this invoice from them. It Obviously didn't matter to them! This went on for 2 weeks, with calls every other day. Then when we began calling daily, or even a few times a day, to 'follow up' on them keeping their word, ~ we suddenly had them Hanging up on us! Many times they didn't even answer the phone. I did let them know I'd be writing an unpleasant review, and contacting the Better Business Bureau. Guess they didn't care! So I'd think twice before EVER using this company folks, and we will NEVER have them return for anything! read more

This company was sent by AHS. They do not work or answer the phone over the weekends but there's no message to say that and their voicemail box stays constantly full. When I finally reached them week days later, they never called me, they weren't able to come out for several days. When the first tech came, even though i described that it was likely a slab/foundation leak as there was no water in the home, he came with no equipment to diagnose. He confirmed it was likely a slab leak and needed a locator to come out and that was going to be another several days. They came back out with the locator who confirmed yet again that it was a slab leak where i said it was, the same plumbing tech said they needed to bring in another person to figure out the best way to fix the issue. I could continue the story but long story short after 6 visits to my house, the issue finally got fixed. But that was several calls, a lot of frustration, and escalation with AHS to get to that point. Plumbers with lack of knowledge, horrible customer service, and lack of someone to answer the phones give this company a deserving 1 star. I've had subsequent calls to AHS for plumbing issues but I always request a different service provider when this company gets assigned. Save yourself the headache and do the same. read more

Run from this company! IPLUMb. they were sent by my insurance; American Home shield for my heater that just stopped working. The guy came and said it was because it was left on vacation mode that all we need to do was to turn it on and make sure no debris was on that heater room. We did that still it wasn't working. I requested another service, the same guy answered the call. Even before he came to my house he just told me that the heater was old and that it was a "pre existing condition. When he came to my house he offered to sell a new water heater which I declined. Of course AHS declined coverage and asked me to pay over $3000 for a new water heater. I demanded to speak to the supervisor and requested for a second opinion. This new company, ARID valley plumbing came and within 15mins my heater was working, he told me that the previous company just turned it off! It's been a week now and my "old heater" is functioning great! Please know that you can always request not to use them if AHS gives your service to them! read more
