I came with a friend for dinner, and I enjoyed my time here. The service was a little slow, but they had a decent amount of people that day. The free rolls that came were pretty good, but not the best I've had at Italian places. The marinara sauce with the rolls were good. I got the Chicken Torino, and it was pretty good. The portion was really big, so I was only able to eat half. My friend said her Chicken Marsala was just okay though. I would say this is a decent neighborhood Italian place, but some of the dishes might be hit or miss.

Cocktails are reasonably priced and well done. Love the garlic rolls and my chicken Marcella Was wonderful I also like the fact that I could trade out mashed potatoes instead of the pasta. The lasagna looked wonderful. It does seem to be a bit of a small piece but he still took some home not a fan of the tiramisu. Wish they had a couple of different dessert options that I liked better. The garlic rolls are delicious and the service was wonderful.

A Friday night around 7 pm & it was packed! We had about a 15 minutes, at the bar. Not a seat available, so a good vibe!! Got a beer for my hubby & we waited for our table. We were seated & our server was just odd. Mot rude, not nice, just didn't speak. She came to the table & just stood there. We spoke first & got drink orders in. Took a while to get rolls/butter, but we think they had to make more. Server didn't let us know, just literally didn't speak about anything. Drinks came, then put in our meal choices. Hubby got Veal Marsala, daughter got Baked Ziti & I ordered Broccoli Pasta w/no Sun Dried Tomatoes. Food came PIPING HOT & fresh. We ate EVERYTHING!! Delicious!!! Would have been 5 stars if the server was a little more personable. She wasn't bad... just no fun!

For our last stop on our anniversary we decided to give Ippolitos a try. Food: We had grandpas meatballs to start with (lol yes that's the name of the app) and they were juicy and tender. The rolls were okay, nothing special. The fettuccine was on point and hit the spot. My husband loved his gyro, he said it tasted like his New York gyros. The chocolate mousse cake was wonderful and moist Service: Briana was excellent. Clear, kind and very attentive. Ask for her and you'll get exceptional service. Ambiance: It's a cute date spot. Something to come and have casual wine with the girlfriends. They have half off bottles of wine on Mondays and Tuesday so that's awesome! Overall it's a great spot and it was the cherry on top to end our anniversary day.

The food wasn't great - the sauce was runny and the pasta was burnt. Also, 2 out of the 4 cups we had were dirty. I'd avoid eating here.

The lamb chops had an amazing grilled flavor, and the chef removed all the fat so you could truly enjoy the lamb; the mint sauce added an extra touch of excellence.  We also ordered the Tutto Carne flatbread (which didn't make it into our to-go bag (sad face)); it was so light and delicious.  We added the spicy oil to kick it up a notch, and boy, it really heightened our taste buds.  We ordered 2 entrees, the Rigatoni Salsiccia and the Tagliatelle Bolognese, which both taste as if someone's Nonna was in the kitchen- so, so good.  Tony, the general manager, greeted us right away and became my best friend; he made us feel welcome.  When it was time for dessert, he offered us Tarimazu, which was so light and delicious we couldn't believe it was dessert; we paired it with a limoncello and an espresso, both absolutely yummy.  We can't wait to return to Luciano and try the other menu items.  If you are ever on the cuff and not sure which restaurant to try for quality food and drinks, please add Luciano to your list; you will not be disappointed.

I did go upstairs to check it out and did see a bunch of people upstairs just sitting and chilling on their laptops with their coffees/drinks; so they may not really enforce their "reserved for pasta dining only" rule. Not sure. Ambiance (First Level / First Floor) - clean, nice, laid-back, chill, cool environment. Casual setting. Cool architecture, design, layout, and decor. Can get loud inside as ceilings are high and can get echo-y, especially if there are alot of people. Also, there is music constantly playing in background. Service (First Level / First Floor) - customer service was quick and straightforward. They were nice and polite. A+. No complaints here. Coffee (First Level / First Floor) - tried their "Korean Iced Coffee" for $7.25. It was one size only and one price at $7.25. It was delicious. Almost similar tasting to a Vietnamese coffee in my opinion (both are delicious). That strong, brewed coffee flavor with this delicious milky, sweetened condensed milk taste. I am not exactly sure if they used sweetened condensed milk in the Korean iced coffee, but it sure does taste similar to it. It's quite good. Also had a "Large Hazelnut Hot Coffee" with creamer for $5.95. It was okay. Total with tax for the two drinks was $13.99. Keep in mind that the WiFi is on your receipt as a QR Code at the bottom. So if you want to use the WiFi, ask for the receipt and/or keep the receipt so that you can scan the QR Code in order to use the WiFi. When it's not, it feels like no one cares. If you mention an issue, the response is basically "really?" with no effort to fix anything. The marinara for the rolls and pasta is incredible when it's made the old way, but lately it's often far too salty. Several dishes aren't prepared the way the menu describes. If it says caramelized onions, you'll get big chunks of raw onion instead. I hate the idea of loosing our favorite place, but it feels like the cooks and management have changed, and the attention to detail that made Roma special just isn't there anymore. Based on what people have said about the manager, that seems to be the root of the problem. Please keep it consistent, to the menu and bring back the Roma we knew and always loved.

I was really looking forward to trying the oysters, but I didn't realize their menu changes often so unfortunately, no oysters this time. A little sad about that! We decided to order pretty much everything off the à la carte menu. Overall, the food was just okay to me. The Brussels sprouts were the hardest to eat they were basically raw, just thinly sliced with sauce poured over. It would've been much better if they were at least steamed or grilled a bit. The mushrooms, though, were absolutely BOMB! If I didn't know what it was, I would've thought it was some sort of meat dish super soft, flavorful, and delicious. Definitely the highlight of the meal. I placed an order for everything on the carte menu. Food was fun and a few of the dishes caught me off guard, in a good way. Pros. We loveeed the maitake mushrooms. This dish was one dish my friend and I had low expectations for. Ironically it's the only dish we would go back for! The bucatini I also had low expectations for. I hardly order pasta, from non pasta specialty places, because the pasta is 99% of the time going to be overcooked. BUT this bucatini was cooked perfectly al dente. The sauce was rich but not too heavy and just enough to cover the noodles without drowning. The crab taste was pretty faint. If it weren't listed on the menu I wouldn't even think it were in the dish. Cons. The brussel sprout salad was honestly almost inedible. It is a raw shaved brussel sprout salad, dressed as a Caesar salad. Although not bad tasting, the core of the sprouts was not tender but dry and hard. There was also a lot of it. Most disappointing was the "waygu ribeye". The quality was pretty horrible. The piece we got had silver skin as well as chunks of fat. I wish I got a picture of the leftover fat from the steak but if you look at my picture you can clearly see slices of just fat. I love a little fat on a well cooked ribeye and do not mind paying for it. But paying $50 for a probably 8oz "waygu" ribeye with only half of it palatable is wild. Regardless, I'm actually going back in a couple of days with my husband because of those amazing mushrooms.. though as I am writing this review I'm debating on canceling my reservation, ordering the mushrooms to go, and just going elsewhere. lol
