IPS movers performed a complicated move for my boyfriend and I on April 31, 2018. We moved in together, and I had reached out to several moving companies to explain that we wanted 1 company to pick up all of our stuff from our separate apartments and bring everything to the new place we were moving into (rather than doing 2 separate moves). IPS gave us the best quote, and also let us know that our joint move would be no issue for them. Other moving companies quoted me much higher prices, and made it sound like the move would be very complicated (probably as a way to quote us a higher price). IPS then sent Louis to both of our apartments to assess our belongings and made sure to give us a final and accurate quote prior to the move. This was done at no charge, and they worked around our schedules. Louis is awesome, and a total pro at what he does. He was able to look at all of our stuff, which not only gave us an accurate quote, but made it so that the movers would know what to expect on the day, and be able to have a game plan and move everything very efficiently. Also, what really amazed me, is that Andre who works in their office called me back every time he said he would, and even checked in a few times leading up to the move which was so reassuring during a stressful time. Usually, I feel like I always have to chase people up, but that was never the case here! I had no question that the movers would show up as promised, on time, which was a question I've had with other moving companies. On the day of the move, the movers showed up on time, and absolutely everything went smoothly. They came to my apartment first, packed up everything, went to my boyfriend's place, did the same, and then brought everything over to our new 3rd floor walk-up. It was a tough move, as we have a lot of stuff, but they guys were so professional and never complained. They just worked steadily as a team until the job was done. IPS even threw in a few extra guys to get the job done within the quoted 3 hour time frame, and even though it took just a little longer and they added more men to the job, they kept the rate at exactly what had been quoted to us. Before we knew it, the job was done without a hiccup. Everyone involved was totally professional and polite. I get very stressed out in situations like this, and IPS really made it all very easy. I cannot say enough positive things about Luis and IPS Movers! This is a wonderful company to help you move (nearby or out of state). Here's my experience: I called Luis back in May needing his help with my family's then-upcoming move to an out-of-state location. Luis was extremely kind and courteous from our first call. Just speaking with him put me at ease. Thereafter, over the subsequent two months, I spoke with Luis numerous more times on planning my move. (You can always reach him--an owner of the company--on the phone. He is continuously available and very responsive!) He gave us an affordable price and proved that he is an expert in dealing with tricky moving issues. For instance, I have a larger number of vinyl records that can become warped in the summer heat of a moving van; I was particularly concerned that during a long out of state drive my records could become ruined. Luis assured me: "Don't worry at all! I got this!" He proceeded to get a truck with refrigeration cooling to control the temperature in the back; he sent me photos of the temperature (72 degrees!) in the truck as it made its way to my new home. I was impressed and happy to receive my records in perfect condition. On the move-out and move-in days, Luis and his guys were absolutely wonderful. They were nice, quick, and extremely efficient--they know what they are doing! I would highly recommend Luis and the staff of IPS. My daughter's apartment was infested with bed bugs & I didn't know how to start helping her with this problem. My daughter is in NYC and I'm in AL. Additionally, I had very little knowledge regarding bed bug infestations. I called an exterminator & they recommended IPS. Luis was truly the solution to our problem. I'd called numerous other companies for quotes and a list of services provided; however, it was during the holiday season and most companies didn't respond or were overpriced. During a very stressful & frantic time, Luis was very patient as he helped me navigate very unfamiliar territory. He was professional, trustworthy, dependable and solution oriented. I also found him to be a man of integrity. He assessed our situation and only recommended the services that my daughter required to deal with the infestation. Dealing with bed bugs was very unsettling for us and Luis and his staff members were friendly and understanding. He promptly returned phone calls/text messages and answered all of my questions. I never felt rushed or pressured during our communications. When your child is having a problem and you're thousands of miles away, it is very frustrating. I would strongly recommend IPS with one caveat, if you have any type of time restriction (like elevator reservations) I would strongly advise you to book your move for first thing in the morning (this advice really applies to all moving companies). I had an extremely tight moving window and on the day of our move IPS could not show on time due to unforeseeable circumstances. Luckily, I was able to scramble and switch a few things around for the move, and in the end it really worked out for the best. IPS did everything in their power to make up for the inconvenience, and I really appreciated how responsive and communicative my sales rep (Andre) was on the phone. I don't think that most moving companies would have handled the situation with so much professionalism. I booked the move and got a cost estimate by phone, which was very easy and straightforward. After doing some shopping around, I found IPS's price was on par or less than other moving companies of good repute. When it came to the actual move, we had a truly excellent experience with IPS. All of the guys (Chino, Milton, and Raymond) were super efficient, friendly and very professional. They worked tirelessly to get the job done and we had zero damage to our furniture or belongings. Truly excellent professionals who work incredibly fast, carefully, and conscientiously. And they're really nice guys, interesting to talk to. I have to say Jo A's very thorough and very enthusiastic review could literally describe my move, down to nearly every detail, except that Ricardo's team for my move was Ronnie and Diego. To start, Andre smoothly and efficiently handled the communication and scheduling, with help from Antonio who was also awesome. Luis came to visit for the assessment and put my mind at ease. Diego dropped off boxes, paper, and tape the next morning. The move went extremely well. I was pretty badly under-prepared and they were able to just take charge of my unpacked stuff, get it packed up and delivered carefully and respectfully. The move included an upright piano and large electric piano, some plants, and many more tricky items, and they didn't bat an eyelash. There was also a pretty tough hill involved on the dropoff end. They charged that hill. Yes, buy these guys some nice lunch and remember to leave some plates and glasses unpacked for plenty of water. This is high-energy work and they do it extremely well. I can not recommend Luis and his entire team enough! They were beyond professional, fast and did the work with heart. We had a bed bug situation and thanks to Luis- a man who truly cares about helping people- the situation was taken care of so quickly that with the bed our entire problem was solved. I have an insect phobia and Luis practically calmed me through the entire process. They could not have been at my door faster and everything from the scheduling to the cleaning team and movers were so kind and professional and fast. IPS Movers made moving seem so easy and almost stress-free! I moved with them from Manhattan to Westchester in February 2021, and, out of all the moves I've had to do so far, this one was by far the most pleasant. First, Luis gave me professional estimates with and without packing included. He was thorough in his work, and there were no surprises on the actual moving days. On the day of the move, Luis and his team showed up on time. It was obvious that the teammates knew each other well; the camaraderie was clear, the guys worked well and fast while chatting and joking. Luis was there throughout, working alongside his crew. They took apart some of the furniture, wrapped everything with great care. IPS NYC Movers was referred to me by family after a successful and smooth moving process by this company. I called and spoke to Rich, who was fantastic in his transparency describing how much the entire move would cost based on an itemized inventory count, transportation fees, number of boxes and the workers involved in moving and assembling furniture. Based on his professional experience we went with his recommendations far as how many workers in the crew would be necessary, and just all the details regarding the move. His emphasis was completing the job safely, correctly, and in minimal time to save us money. Unfortunately the move never happened, but throughout the whole month leading up to the move date, Rich was integral in reaching out to us to keep us informed regarding any small changes. I recently moved from a 2 bedroom apartment in Massapequa to a new house. I wasn't sure which company to use because I haven't moved in 7 years. One of my buddies told me he was storing some of his furniture at IPS. He suggested I give them a call because when he went to their storage unit they were very organized and professional. Once I spoke to Rich on the phone and felt the price was fair I decided to go with them. I am very happy I did. They came in and took care of moving me into my new house in just under 6 hours. Have moved a couple times over be past 2 years and always went for the cheapest "man and a truck" option only to end up arguing with the movers on the day for taking their time and being rough and just crappy! This time round, I went with IPS and delighted to finally write a good review about a moving company. Very impressed from start to finish, called and asked for a quote, very competitive, fitted me into Schedule with a last min request from me. On the move day.l, I had 3 guys, Ricardo I think was the foreman along with his two guys, they were very cool guys, chatty and professional and polite! Guys didn't stop from the second the watch started and got to my new address before me. Credit to their company name as their the real face of a company at the end of the day. Would def recommend these guys, even if you think it's a lil more expensive than what's out there. The cheap guys seem to try and kill the time to get that 3rd or 4th hour, these guys genuinely pushed and made it within the 2 hours already paid for. read more

I highly recommend IPS. Luis ( one of the owners ) and his co- workers are very professional, polite, respond back to a phone call/email asap. Best of all the price is right and reasonable. When I found out that my sofa bed was infested with bed bugs I needed to move fast. IPS was recommended by my exterminating company along with a few others. I chose them for all the reasons above. They came and picked up my furniture and personal belongings the morning of Christmas Eve everyone else responded to their emails after the holidays. Contacted about 7 different moving companies but this one was the most reasonable. Originally I wanted the movers to help with packing but noticed it was a bit out of my budget, so to solve that issue, IPS delivered free boxes and tape for me to pack my items about 1 week before the move. One day before my move I had an issue with the elevator in my building so I had to postpone the move for 2 days and IPS really worked their schedule to suit my new move-in date. On the move date, the guys came at 9 am on the dot which was amazing. They started packing the bigger furniture and they handled everything with care. I have marble table and mirror and they were really making sure the items were properly wrapped. I had planned to move in 4 hours but the move took much longer and the guys were not complaining. At the end of the move, I realized one item didnt fit in the new apartment so they took it and it is in their storage facility momentarily. I would hire them again. read more
