Would give zero stars if possible. I posted a review about a month ago when it happened, but they got it taken down. I brought in my Samsung s21 ultra to get my screen replaced. I picked the phone up and took it home and not even an hour later the bottom half of the screen started flickering on and off. I brought the phone back the next day to have him replace it but when I showed him what was going. He agreed that there was no physical damage to the outside of the phone and that the issue was internal damage to the screen. He told me that he would not cover the screen under warranty (90 days) because I had already taken it home. He then told me that I should order a new screen (an additional $285 to what i had already paid for the faulty screen he sold me) and he would install it for me. I will never bring another device here to be repaired again. They do not honor their warranty and they will sell you faulty parts. Learn from my mistake and take your devices elsewhere. read more

Worst service possible. Super unprofessional. After they changed my iphone broken screen, it was stopped reacting in 4 months. I brought it them back and paid AGAIN for a new one, 'cos their warranty expired in the 3 months. In a little more then a month problem returned. So changed it AGAIN. The next day I noticed that one of the keys on the keyboard wouldn't work so I went back to iPulse and they swapped out the screen and cleaned the phone making the keyboard work perfectly all at no extra charge. I brought in a cracked Samsung S8. The top left corner was shattered. I found iPulse through their eBay store microetech. While reading the instructions to ship the phone, I noticed the store was in Hoboken and Google confirmed they had a storefront. I called and Daniel said the repair would be about 60-90 minutes. So I hustled there shortly after, and took a nap on the comfy couch as he worked. True to his word, it was 90 minutes. The glass itself was fixed to perfection. I was really impressed! After I left, I noticed air bubbles and dust particles trapped all over the screen. Disappointing but Daniel said it would go away in a few days. I found that hard to believe, yet waited. A week later, it looked like a bad screen protector and was distracting. The original damage wasn't this widespread. I called and he said to bring it back. I got there on a day he had to leave early. Not a huge deal, but the commute expense was getting costly. I came back the next day, and he said it would take 90 minutes. He used a different method, perhaps a new screen, that took 10 minutes to install. This man is truly a wizard. Overall, the repair cost was $107 plus $16.50 in PATH fares. It has been 2 months and there have been no issues with the screen. Daniel is proud of his work and will make sure you are a happy customer, but you might have to push back for perfection. * FYI their eBay price to fix a cracked screen is cheaper, around $65 to fix a Samsung S8. The turnaround is 1-2 weeks for this mail-in service. read more

So frustrated when my brand new iPad got cracked being in a case and in my bag but I did a quick shout out to the internet and iPulse was recommended to me. Called up to ask for a quote, Korean dude on the phone was really sweet and helped me find the code on the iPad that would let him know exactly which one I had so he could give me an exact quote. They're located on the second floor of the building next to Cadillac Cantina and the path train. To the left when you get off the elevator. I dropped off the iPad, paid upfront (credit card only) and o asked if I could have him put on my iPad screen cover that I had bought on my own (all too late for my poor iPad) lol he said yes. I noticed later that I was charged more than he quoted me so I called and we realized there was a miscommunication, thought I asked for a screen protector also. When I came in to pickup the iPad, he refunded the difference right away and put on my cover super fast. Definitely seemed trustworthy and was more than accommodating. read more

"when you try to take shortcuts, you always come up short" In town visiting family for the holiday week. My iPad mini is positioned in a chair in the kitchen charging. It slides off the chair and falls face down. I'm shaking as I reach to turn it over, and yes, it's cracked. I immediately Google places nearby that repair iPad screens. I find this place. I did see one negative review about them, but chose to ignore it. I travel to them, and pay to have it fixed. It took about an hour and 20 minutes. It looked fine, great job. When I get to the car I look at my tablet, and there's a crack in it. I figure that I'm seeing things or just must be a piece of lint. I immediately call the store and informed him of the issue. He says no problem bring it back. Told him I couldn't bring it back same day(Wednesday), tomorrow was a holiday(New Years), so I would bring it back on Friday. I bring in and they take a look at it. They informed me that the frame of the tablet is bent. I informed them that the frame is in the same condition it was when they put the screen on. They told me when I left everything was fine. But now they attempt to reason with me that Apple tablets are made with a curve that make it difficult for screen to be put on, and that's the reason for the crack. After getting nowhere with the older gentleman, the younger gentleman attempts to reason with me. After about 25 minutes of back-and-forth they informed me that they will put another screen on for me for a reduced price of $70. But when I walk out the store and if it cracks again they are not responsible. They then tell me to leave and take it somewhere else of course without refunding my money. This is my first negative yelp review. I only write this so that others do not experience the same hardship that I went through. Take your electronics back to the manufacturer, or buy a new one. Came in and immediately the owner grabbed my laptop and took to the back room. He came out and was not able to explain my issue or help me to purchase a new item that he claimed I needed. Also was very unhelpful when I asked him to confirm a part that I needed was accurate, simply raising his voice and telling me to google it. What a Godsend this place is! Last week, my phone fell flat on its face and cracked. After looking around at a few different repair shops in my area, I decided on this place because the repair cost was slightly cheaper than others (around $64 including tax), conveniently located by the Hoboken Terminal, and had lots of great reviews. Everything was quick and easy! I dropped off my phone, came back in about 15-20 minutes, and was out with a fresh new screen. Also, the employees were very nice, and the store is very clean and beautiful (not your typical shop with a thousand phone cases hanging from the walls). Unfortunately, this week, the screen cracked again! I don't know how because all I did was literally slip the phone into my jeans pocket, I felt something give, and immediately took it out to see it cracked again! I called right away, and spoke with Daniel who told me to bring it in and they would take a look at what they can do. I brought it in the next day, and explained what happened and showed them the phone. At first, one of the employees kindly explained that their warranty only covers glitches and malfunctions (like if the screen wasn't functioning properly), but that cracks or damages after the repair were not covered. I mentioned that I spoke to Daniel, and after a few minutes he came out and resolved the issue since I had just been there a few days before. Again, I left my phone, came back in 20 minutes, and the screen was perfect. So thankful to Daniel for doing this for me! This really shows how much he cares for his customers and providing quality service. Definitely glad that I chose iPulse to repair my phone! Hopefully nothing else will happen to my phone (*knock on wood*), but in the future, this will be my go to place. Highly recommended if you need iPhone repair. I have now come in 3 separate times for a cracked screen (I know, I know, I will finally put a screen protector on my phone). I just hand over my phone and read a magazine on the couch while they replace the screen immediately. It is literally done in 5 minutes. And you don't need an appointment. If you go to the Apple store instead, you'll have to drop off your phone for at least an hour or two and wait in a long line. It looks perfect, clearly high-quality work. I looked at a lot of shops in the area, and this one had the lowest price. The pricing depends on the type of phone you have, but for an iPhone 6S screen replacement, I paid $64 including tax. They have no honor I'd previously posted about how I brought my phone in for a crack in the screen and non-funtioning headphone jack. weeks later they gave it back and had "Forgotten" to fix the headphone jack, the screen they put on didn't fit on the and there was a blinking green line in the middle. The owner told me that was the best they could do but it would be fine and I could bring it back if not. That's when I posted my negative review. The screen died in less than a month. I brought it back and the owner denied that he had given it to me in that condition. I showed him the contemporaneous review I'd written to prove when I'd been there and show him the reponse he wrote asking me to come in so he could provide "more enhanced skill". He started yelling at me and threatened to call the police if I didn't leave. He said I hurt him with my review and that I didn't know how to conduct business. He gave ME a broken product but he says I don't know how to do business?!? Me?!? I can't see how this guy could possibly stay in business with this business ethic. Had the screen on my iPhone XS replaced a couple weeks ago at a reasonable price. He was able to do it in 30 minutes. The Face ID and everything works. So far, so good. The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is that there is a noticeable difference in color. Colors aren't as vibrant as they were before with my original screen. Others might not be able to tell the difference but I sure can. So you save money by having your screen replaced here instead of the Apple Store, but the tradeoff is lower screen quality. read more

Based on the comment by the owner, I had to update my review. It is convenient, but possible, that the price to replace the glass lowered $10 after my visit. However, my review specifically states I asked for both the glass and LCD to be replaced and told that it was. In short I feel I was ripped off as my LCD died shortly after the screen was replaced. I am very disappointed with this place. I brought my 5 in for a screen repair - they charged $90. I was happy to pay this price thinking that my screen would be fully fixed (LCD and all). There were a few weird marks on my phone post repair, but hey I was happy that it was fixed in 30 min and close to 8PM on a weeknight. Fast forward about a month later. I now have an issue with my LCD. I take it back to this place as they had just replaced the screen. I was hoping they would either work with me since i just spent $90 on a screen/LCD from them. Also, other customers' reviews said they paid around $60 for just the LCD. I walk in and give the guy my story how I was just there and hoping he could help. Maybe the LCD was just faulty...that happens sometimes. Well, he refused the idea that his store would give me a defective LCD and that I HAD to have dropped it again. (And ruin the LCD without damaging the glass...how is that possible?) Anyway I spend a few more minutes of him telling me that it is my fault the LCD is broken and not anything to do with his past repair - and that they FOR SURE gave me a new LCD. Finally getting tired of his rudeness, i asked how much it would be to replace just the LCD. He said $100. That put me over the edge, for just the LCD and not the whole screen it would be MORE than what i paid the first time. I came home and looked up their website. First, I am not sure where the $90 came from since it does not match their pricing online for screen repair. Also, to repair the LED it is only an additional $50 to the glass getting repaired. So if you don't repair the glass then..well you do the math. I apologize for such a long review/rant but I have not had such bad service in my life. To sum it up: 1. Not helpful or willing to listen/work with you 2. Make up their own prices as you walk in (the girl who walked in after me the first time paid 130 compared to my 90) 3. Most Importantly.. the process of fixing my phone with ipulse wasn't worth the $10-20 I saved. The screen came out flawlessly, but my advice is to back up your entire phone to your computer before attempting to use this company. OR drive a little bit farther and spend a $10-20 more to go to an iCOLOR or Cellairis kiosk to get your screen fixed. My Story.. My screen of my iphone 4S was SHATTERED. I couldn't see clearly through any corner of my screen, but the screen itself still worked. I called ipulse to see how long it would take to fix it and the lady said about 20 minutes. I also noticed online it cost about $10-20 less than other places I'd looked outside of apple. I get there about an hour later and she said it would take about 30 minutes, she never explained why, but I assumed it was because they were busy with another phone. No problem. I ended up sitting there for an HOUR AND TWENTY MINUTES. I had to constantly feed the meter because it would only take "5 more minutes." Finally I get into my car and start to mess with my phone (screen looked great for the record. He even put this spray on it that protects the screen for up to two months, so he says). However, I noticed about 10 minutes after leaving that all my pictures on my camera and photo stream had been erased. I know I had just over 1,000 pictures on my photo stream and a couple hundred in my camera when I handed it over. I called back and asked him questions along the lines of "Is this normal?" "Has this happened before?" "Do you know how to fix it?" after every question he responded with the same answer... "We don't touch your phone. Just the screen. That wasn't our fault. You must've restored your phone by accident or something." thanks guy. Then I go home hoping that because I uploaded all my pictures from my phone before I left I could fix it but now iTunes says my phone storage is full.. the "other" portion of my storage is at 8.6 GB. I googled what this meant and apparently now my phone is corrupt. Awesome. I had to then restore my phone through iTunes, and had to replace almost half of my apps and reset my entire phone. Yes, now my phone is fine but the hours it took to fix and figure all this out was less than amusing. NOT IMPRESSED. read more

I'm not sure this was a four star experience, but I would recommend this place and I do not have any real gripes. My phone wasn't fixed in 20 mins like other reviewers, but I think 60 mins is not that bad, and they were super busy on the Monday night I was there. This place is right next to Teak, I actually walked right past it, so keep your eyes open! My screen completely shattered, and it cost $86 with tax to have a new screen installed. Not cheap, but very quick fix and I was glad to have this option as I am saving my AT&T upgrade for the iPhone 6 release in the next few months. Both employees I interacted with were nice. I went several times to repair the phone, each time Jimmy told me he was out of stock. Tried to give me a solution by putting a temporary screen of some sort, but it's way too inconvenient to have to come back several times! I went to another place down the street and ultimately got it fixed in one visit and at a cheaper price. The biggest shock happened when I did finally get the screen fixed, there were missing wires inside my phone. Luckily, I had them replaced for free by the other guys.
