I put IPhone 4 into a washing machine by mistake with the other cloths of my husband. Thought the life of the phone and my life was over :). I thought about this place even not exactly close to my house since used them before to fix navigation. Called IPulse and was given advise on the spot what to do and brought the next day to repair. I came in twice. The first time was a few weeks ago - my iPhone camera wasn't working. The man in the store (the only guy there) popped open my phone, poked around a bit, and figured out what was wrong in about 8 minutes. At the same time, two other people were passing through picking up and dropping off repairs. He quoted me a price ($60 to repair the back camera of my iPhone 6). I wasn't ready to get it fixed without doing some research, but I came back a few weeks later. I handed them my phone and sat down on the sofa to wait. While I was there, I got to witness was a hilarious duo of women who were trying to extort a discount for promoting the buisness on their twitter and instragram accounts. Alas, they fixed my phone in about 5 minutes and so I ended up leaving before it was resolved. I hope that something productive came of it. read more

My daughter's ipod 5th gen glass shattered and firat went to apple store. They would exchange for a refurb one for $165. I searched for other options and decided to ipulse. It cost $85, they ordered the glass replacment and took less than an hour to repair. My daughter could not be happier to have her ipod back. These guys are great. So nice when I walked in. Really nice store front and literally across the street from PATH. I had purchased a YELP coupon and didn't read the fine print that I needed to wait 24hours to redeem. Though they were willing to work with me regardless. Took maybe 20 minutes at most. Screen looks beautiful. And it was the most affordable option I found. After taxes and coupon I paid $95 for the whole screen replacement on my 5c to be fixed. Totally recommend!! Just be aware that the YELP coupon needs 24 hours to activate and you need to call for an appointment if using one. read more

My phone is worse than before. So disappointed with this place. This is my first ever review written but I feel very compelled to write one due to the quality of the work done by iPulse. I cracked my screen and had it broken for a long time before I decided to get it fixed. I found iPulse and with the price and yelp deal thought it was a good idea... Wrong. They fixed my screen and as soon as I got to my car and started driving, I noticed that on phone calls the screen was not recognizing I was on the phone and was calling other people and doing weird things, and my home button was extremely loose. I drove all the way back the next day, and explained everything and they fixed the sensor and needed more glue for the home button. Fast forward three days, my home button is loose again.. And by loose I mean feels like it is about to drop out. So I drive the 40 minutes back and pay for parking again and good thing it was the same guy because he was surprised it was loose again, so he fixed it with more glue, assuring it will work now. It has now been almost 2 months, and my WHOLE screen is loose (which causes the home button to be loose)! I can physically push down on my screen and it moves up and down and you can see my phone light shining through the side! My sister just broke her screen and I told her not to go here. 3 visits there and apparently a ton of glue and my phone is still in worse condition each time I leave this place. read more

I have to come here because I broke my phone's screen During vacation. 2 days after this location replaced my screen my phone started to heat up. I woke up on the third day and my phone was so hot that the screen broke again and it felt like it was about to catch on fire. I took my phone to the Apple store and I found out that my original Apple battery was stolen by this store and they replaced it with a cheap battery that almost caused my phone to catch on fire! The heating up broke other things within my phone that I had to buy a new one. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. They will steal your original iPhone battery. They are lucky they my phone didn't catch on fire because I would have sue them. read more

This was my second time going to iPulse (Englewood store) to get my phone fixed. I'm very clumsy and drop it a lot. Both times I was helped by David who is awesome. He's so nice and really explains to you what's going on with your phone. The first time I went was because my phone was ran over by a car. The frame was bent, but he still did a beautiful job fixing it. I dropped it again a couple months after and cracked the screen, so I went back and saw David again. Once again, he did an outstanding job. My phone looks brand new again. He saved me from having to pay a huge amount of money to Sprint for a new phone. Whatever you do , DO NOT TAKE YOUR PHONE HERE! Had my screen replaced as I woke up one morning and it was completely black. Decided to come back since in the past I used them for a screen replacement, HUGE MISTAKE. Upon picking up the phone I noticed the screen wasn't as HD looking as before and had a pink tint to it. But the guy was rushing me to pay since it was late. Next day Face ID doesn't work and now the camera and flashlight icons do not work while phone is locked. Took it back he said that it wasn't his fault since the screen responds everywhere else. Fast forward a few months later screen becomes completely unresponsive. Took it to a real apple shop since the phone was out of warranty and the guy tells me right away that when he opened up the phone , there was no adhesive for the screen and there were parts just popping out as a result of the third party screen replacement and they never used a real apple screen, some other cheap screen replacement. SAVE yourself the headache and NEVER TRUST this place! read more

Finally dropped my iPhone for the first time ever. Did a pretty good job too, the entire screen was shattered. Having never needed a repair done before I was a little uncertain where to take it other than Apple or AT&T. Very glad I saw this place listed and gave them a shot. I was in and out of there in 15 minutes and they are very reasonably priced. Also, they are in a great location right next to Hoboken station so it was a breeze getting there from downtown Jersey City. I wrote a review 2 nights ago (something I never do) and it somehow got taken down so I'll write it again. Wish I had read the negative reviews that got buried before I went here because they all tell the same story as what happened to me. NEVER GO HERE!!! THIS GUY IS A NASTY CROOK! USES FAULTY PRODUCTS AND TAKES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR HIS SHOTTY WORK. The screen on m iphone was cracked but usable but I decided to get it fixed and came here. He charged me $180 + $10 got a screen protector and less the 2 weeks late I woke up to a totally black screen. I went back to heim and he said he would replace it Come back in 40 minutes. I came back 2 hours later (tried to get work done) and when I did, I asked for a new screen protector noticing the one he previously put on was shattered and he insisted I pay for it and started arguing with me and yelling at me saying mine was cracked pointing to nick on the side that I hadn't even noticed before. It was a moot point because then I noticed that the new screen that he put on was damaged and there was a big blotch on. He said come back tomorrow and I'll replace it. More time wasted but OK. Come back the next day screen and pointed to him not only was the screen damaged but the screen is too small and that the emoji and microphone icons on the text keyboard aren't fully visible and thus don't work. Again replaced the screen, putting on the old protector which made the screen blurry but worse, the keyboard issue still wasn't fixed. Clearly, the screen he was using was too small for my model phone. He accused me of changing my settings, started playing around with the phone, making the type smaller, and when he couldn't fix it started getting more irate, started screaming, telling me I should go to Apple and get a screen there. I said fine, give me my money back. And he said no- I already gave you 3 screens. He was threatening me, kicked me out the store and 2 hours later, the screen was totally unresponsive rendering the phone useless. read more

Do NOT go to this store..They will rip you off! I went in there to get my iphone 6 screen fixed. Everything seemed fine until the guy came out with my fixed phone but explained to me that they only had 1 white screen in stock and it was defected. He showed me what was wrong with is and promised it only had marks on the LCD screen. He told me once they get more in stock I could come back and they would replace it for free. I was very flexible and said that was fine even though I really didn't have a choice bc they put the defected screen on my phone without asking. The very next day I started having problems with it. The touch screen would sometimes not react or work. I had to go through my entire vacation with a broken phone. I went back to the store to get my "free" screen replaced and explained to them that the defected screen they gave me was broken. The guy checked over my phone and proceeded to blame me for the damage. He told me that the reason the touch wasn't working was not because of the broken screen they gave me but because something else must have happened to it. I nicely explained to him that I got it repaired two weeks ago and nothing has happened to it since. Still very nicely, I requested for him to change the screen as they promised to do. The guy refused to give me a new screen because he claimed that I had damaged his screen and now he could not replace it. He then proceeded to tell me that I would have to pay an additional 120 dollars for them to fix whatever "damage" I caused to then replace the screen. Basically they put a broken screen on my phone, and would not uphold their end of the bargain because He accused me of damaging the phone more and wouldn't take any responsibility that it was any mistake on their end. He argued with me using techy terms that i clearly did not understand, asked for more money, and refused to fix my phone. Now I am stuck with a broken phone and broken screen and will have to pay more money through insurance. I learned the hard way never to go for cheaper because that is what you well get a cheap job done. read more
