HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I went in here to get my phone screen fixed and it clearly said on the screen iPhone 7 $69 -15mins to repair. He proceeded to say that was a mistake and it's going to be $80 plus tax. The i said it says $69 on the screen and he went and unplugged the screen that said it was $69. And then told me to go somewhere else to fix my phone!!!!!! Please take your phone somewhere else to get fixed. After unsucessfully trying to repair a cracked iphone screen I bought off the Internet from a less than stellar company (so I painfully learned), my friend attempted to fix it himself when he realized they sent me a faulty screen. I then went to iPulse and am so happy I did. The gentleman there was so nice, checked my phone for full functioning capability before he said he would repair it. I recently had a screen repaired there. About a month later my screen started going dim and acting up. When I took it there I was told it was past my 30 day warranty period. I took my phone to a different repair center close to my work and when they took it apart they told me that whoever fixed it initially had used non-authentic parts from China instead of real Apple parts. The new company also showed me how Ipulse had put screws back in my phone incorrectly and did a janky job overall installing their fake parts. NEVER GO THERE. Complete scam! read more

I have an iphonex which stopped responding to touch input. the phone is out of warranty, so I figured I'd try to support a local business and went there to have it fixed. I dropped it off and in about 15 minutes he brought it out with a screen that was responding, so I figured all was well. I read online that apple is aware of what is referred to as "touch death" - and is covering it under a warranty extension program. two days later the issue happened again, so I returned with it. ok, so I mention this to him and he admits he knew of this, but he was happy to take my 200 dollars anyway. not exactly honest, but he's trying to make a living I figure. he once again replaces the screen, once again it fails. now I ask him about it, and he tells me he's using "refurbished" screens.. and that the dot that was left under the glass would fade eventually and if not return it. screen starts dieing again. however before I could return it, it fell and cracked, so I have to chalk this up as a loss, because he's not going to replace it because it's cracked (and I have no way to prove the failure occurred before, I understand that) so I being it with me to my brother's house and ordered a new screen, and my brother replaced it (he does that sort of thing) - after opening it up, my brother mentions " uh.. you know you're missing stuff in here..." turns out there's a small grounding pin/tab which just wasn't put back??? apple doesn't put "extra" parts in there!! just because it's small, does not mean it's insignificant. in addition to the touch problems I experienced, faceid also barely worked. I had to tilt the phone at a weird angle to try to make it recognise me and if did once out of every 3-4 tries. after my brother replaced the screen with a NEW screen and did it CORRECTLY it works perfectly, touch works perfectly, and faceid recognizes me instantly. sorry, but I really can't recommend this place. read more

I felt completely taken advantage of here. Took in my 4S, which sustained minimal water damage, and was sold the $100 water damage package. I was told any parts needing replacement would be extra. Btw, a new phone if I went to the apple store and traded in mine would be $200. But I figured $100 was better than $200. After picking up my phone all seemed to be in working order and no parts needed to be replaced, but as we know, sometimes issues manifest themselves after a period of time, so I asked the assistant if I still had issues when I returned home, could I bring the phone back. She said yes, as long as it was within a few days. Sure enough, I started having sound issues as soon as I got home, so within a few days I returned to the shop to have him fix it properly. I assumed he would only charge me for the part cost and comp the repair cost since the job wasn't done properly the first time. But I was shocked to learn that he wanted me to pony up another $60 to repair a part which costs $12! All in all that would be $160 that I would have shelled out and he still couldn't guarantee that it would fix the problem. The final straw was when I asked him to pull out the part that wasn't working to show me the damage. Instead he showed me the new part he would be replacing it with...ummm shady. And to make matters worse, none of this conversation was with the owner. It was all communicated thru his assistant despite my repeated requests to speak with him in person! I ended up ordering the part for $12 on Directfix dot com and by watching their YouTube tutorials, replaced the part myself. It took 15 minutes. read more

DO NOT GO HERE TO GET YOUR PHONE REPAIRED. I went in to get a screen replaced and 3 weeks later I have a completely broken phone thanks to them. It takes a lot for me to write a bad review, but I don't want anyone else to have to go through the nonsense that I went through. I smashed my screen right before a trip out of town and went there to get it replaced. It took 10 minutes which I was pleased about. They notified me that there was water damage - I knew exactly when that had happened (months ago) and had had no issues whatsoever with the phone since then. When I got it back I noticed that wherever I touched the screen it turned purple. The repairman said it was just static and it would go away. It didn't. A few hours later I called to ask if this was normal. He said yes it should stop in a few hours. It didn't. It continued to happen for the entire time I was out of town (a week) and never went away. So I contacted them when I returned to tell them that it was still going on and they said to bring it in. I drove there and he said he didn't have the screens in and to come back next week, which brings us to this glorious day. I wish, oh how I wish I had just put up with purple appearing, but when you pay over $100 to get something replaced, it should be replaced with something that works properly. I waited for almost an hour. One of the repairmen came out with a screen and said, "We have this screen but there's some water droplets in it that should go away. Is that ok?" Um, no, it is absolutely not ok. He said, ok, they would replace it with a new one (Are you kidding me?! Why was that not the first option!??!) At one point the main repairman came out and said "can you look at this and make sure the colors look right? I'm colorblind." I'm not sure if this was a complete lie or not, but I didn't understand why he was asking ME and not one of the many other people that work there or comparing it to a fully functioning phone. I said as far as I could tell it did, but it was hard to say. I then waited for another 20 minutes or so. While I was waiting, somebody came in and said that they'd had their screen replaced by them last week and it was having issues. Hmmmmmm...not a good sign. I got my phone back and went outside where my friend had been patiently waiting for well over an hour since there's absolutely no parking in Hoboken. I told her my screen didn't look right but since she'd been waiting for an hour and we were packing for a cross country move I decided to just deal with it and cut my losses and go. I plugged my phone in because it was at 1% and noticed that it said it was charging but couldn't get above 1%. I then noticed that it kept restarting itself and turning on and off every few minutes. This had never happened with my phone before, and as you can imagine, this was absolutely not ok. I went all the way back there and told them what was going on. I waited for another hour. In that time a woman came in to get her screen repaired which they did in under 10 minutes. More on her later. The repairman was clearly not making any progress and it this point my patience had completely run out. I had wasted over 2 hours at this place trying to have them correct their errors. He said that he couldn't figure out what was wrong with it and that there was nothing he could do. When I told him that I wanted a refund he said "well we did replace the cracked screen." Yes, you did, with another BROKEN screen and now I have a phone that DOESN'T FUNCTION AT ALL. He tried to blame it on the water damage (the iPhone has a thing inside that turns red when it has been exposed to water) that had occurred MONTHS ago. The phone had had absolutely NO issues whatsoever prior to today when he tried to replace the broken screen he had replaced the cracked one with. I told him that I was going to need to buy a new phone and that they needed to reimburse me for the full amount at the absolute very least and even that wasn't enough since I was going to have to buy a new phone. While this exchange was happening, the woman I mentioned who came in earlier for a screen repair returned and said that her phone wasn't working. Are you kidding me?!?! THEN a man came in to pick up a phone he had brought in for repair and it wouldn't even turn on. These guys have absolutely NO idea what they're doing and it sounds like they end up doing more damage than good. I can't believe I have to replace my phone 2 days before a cross country move. He took no responsibility for the damage he did to my phone and just kept denying it. He finally gave in and gave me a full refund but he was incredibly reluctant to do so. I will be reporting them to the BBB and urge anyone else in need of a phone repair to go elsewhere. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT THEM TO TRASH YOUR PHONE! read more

Buyer Beware. We brought our iPad here to have a cracked screen replaced. After picking it up, we noticed there was a crack in the screen as soon as we got home less than an hour later. Nothing happened in the interim that would have caused it to crack -- so we knew there had to be a problem with the screen replacement. We went back the next day, and they wouldn't help us at all or take any responsibility. Yes, it's cheaper than going through Apple, but the service is worthless if it is done so shoddily that the replacement screen breaks on its own within an hour. read more

If you need an iPhone/iPad repair, have it done by Apple. While this business did repair my cracked glass screen, they did not reassemble the phone properly. Apple claimed that this 3rd party service center damaged my LCD. While i saved $100 on the repair by not going to Apple, it ended up costing me a lot of time and a ton of money to get a new phone. Also be aware that this company will not replace your glass with certified Apple glass, and they will not ensure perfect functionality like Apple. Use this service if your phone is out-of-warranty and have nothing to lose. read more

My friend had the same thing happen to his phone after having it fixed here. Store owner became extremely angry. Horrible person to deal with. This store has had my ipad for over two weeks to repair a broken screen. first it was returned to me and i could not charge the ipad. second it was returned to me and blue tooth and wifi would not connect. now i am told the motherboard is broken and they can do nothing further. What good is an ipad to me that i cannot use in my own home unless i pay for extra data? Have used their repair services for a cracked iPhone 4 screen twice in the last month. Both times they had the screen repaired and as good as new in under an hour. The pricing for the repair is among the lowest I could find in North and Central NJ. Plenty of places to eat or to grab a drink in Hoboken by the PATH while you wait. So here we go. I took my son's computer in to be repaired and was quoted $191.63 and promised computer would be available the next day. I called the next day to check the status and was told that it would be an additional $100.00 b/c the technician mistakenly quoted me the wrong price the day prior. I went into the store the following day to retrieve my computer and get a refund for a repair that did not take place. Technician and supervisor was extremely rude and actually debited another $191.63 from my account when it should have been credited.... I wrote a review on yelp and the next day I saw two charges for $191.63 for a repair that did not take place. I disputed the charge with my bank and was credited back only $191.63 as impulse lied to the bank an stated that they did complete the service. I called ipulse and I was told that I would not get back my $191.63 because I wrote them a bad review. DON'T USE THEM AT ALL!! UNPROFESSIONAL, DISHONEST AND NASTY PEOPLE. I will write several reviews everyday until my $191.63 is returned. Thank God that I am saved and have a family because under different circumstances this could be really ugly. I was blatantly robbed by a computer repair company because they reneged on a promise and I wrote a honest review about their lack of professionalism. The fact that DANIEL (the supervisor) just told me that I would not get my money back because I wrote them a bad review is testament to their lack of professionalism and general courtesy. Daniel is very lucky that I am a God fearing man! I will continue to write reviews until my money is returned. STAY AWAY! They had my laptop for weeks. claimed they replaced certain items. it still didn't work. after 3 unsuccessful tries, I realized they were just spinning their wheels. I brought the comp to Tekserve, and they explained that only half of what Ipulse said they had done was actually done, and done very poorly. Within 2 days my computer is now working perfectly. I went to iPulse 10 days ago to get my iPhone 6 screen repaired. 1 week later there was an LCD problem with the screen for no reason. iPulse would not take any responsibility for it and wanted to charge me $120 to fix it again!! They wouldn't give me $1 discount off that, so I went to Hoboken wireless. Not only did Hoboken wireless give me a better deal but their service was exceptional. I had replaced 2 screens in iPulse in the last 12 months. They have lost a customer for life! Word spreads in Hoboken quickly about these kinds of experiences guys... DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID. We went to this store because it was convenient - and had an absolutely terrible experience. DO NOT bring your phone here. We brought several Apple devices here to have cracked screens replaced. We are a very gadget-friendly household. My husband travels a lot and has had multiple device screens repaired through the years, so this is a process we're very familiar with. On our first visit, they seemed to do good work. We had a cracked iPhone screen fixed and all seemed to be well. However, on the second visit, we brought an iPad Air in to have the cracked screen fixed. Without asking us, they put a white screen on a black iPad - and left the black button in place. It looked terrible. When asked about it, they just said that they didn't have a black screen. We were in a hurry, so we let it go. At least it was fixed... right? Bad judgement on our part - we came back again. This time, we brought two iPhones - an iPhone 6 Plus and a regular iPhone 6 - both with cracked screens. They looked fine once they were fixed, but the top left-hand corner of each phone screen became non-responsive (we found out later that they used non-Apple parts to repair). On one of the phones, it looked as though the phone frame had a slight bend to it - so we brought that one in to them first. My husband asked why that might be happening - and the store owner got extremely angry with him. My husband explained that he wasn't even blaming him at this point, he just wanted to understand what happened - but there was no point, he just kept being angry and dismissive. We didn't even bother telling him that the 6 Plus was doing the same thing - we gave up and ultimately purchased a new phone. Next - the iPad they had repaired (with the wrong colored screen)... The screen began to operate as if it had a mind of its own. No matter where you touched, ten other places on the screen started to select as well. My husband brought it back to ask what was happening. The owner completely flipped out on him. My husband very calmly explained that he wanted to understand why this was happening, he actually wasn't trying to make a claim, he just wanted to get it fixed and make sure it didn't happen again. Just to be clear - at this point WE ARE TRYING TO GIVE THIS MAN MORE MONEY to fix the work he has done poorly and he is STILL getting angry. I'm aware that there were some language barriers, but my husband was calm, rational and not AT ALL aggressive during this interaction. If anything, he was standing there looking perplexed as this man kept angrily accusing him of being a problem while we tried to pay him to fix something - AGAIN. Some of the things he said towards my husband revealed that there was some racial profiling at play - accusing him of being a problem or trying to cheat him in some way, saying he was "a stressful customer" and "somebody who might cause an incident" when there was absolutely NO anger coming from our side at all - and again, we kept explaining that WE WERE WILLING TO PAY - again! Whatever you do, AVOID AVOID AVOID this store. They will use non-Apple products and void any warranty you have, the work will not hold up and they are EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful. read more
