We wanted someone we could trust but also someone who could take care of it quickly as we had NO water in the house. They were able to come out early the next morning, gave us the best quote (we got three), and got to work right away. They did a great job! Had to dig up the old line which was corroded and also replace the shut off valve and pressure regulator. I also had him drain our hot water heater, since that should be done every year or so out here in AZ to remove the sediment. Overall they did a great job. We ended up having to cut the slab, trench, and replace most of the lines in the place. A huge project. Needless to say, I shopped this one around a LOT. Pablo was very professional, showed up on time, and ran a pretty clean job-site (big pet peeve of mine). His bid was very competitive in terms of price, and the invoices were detailed and straightforward. I had him and Fernando back probably 6-8 times after the initial dig/rough-in to complete the top-out and trim. All inspections passed by the city, and the house is occupied. He has come out for a couple of service calls as well, (one of my carpenters has a thing for hitting water lines) and those didn't result in a bunch of small charges. I scheduled a plumbing service with Accent Plumbing after speaking with Jessica on June 2, 2026…read more She told me the earliest available appointment was June 7 between 3:00-5:00 p.m. I explained that I had a medical appointment at 3:00 p.m. and would not be available during that window. Jessica then offered June 8 between 1:00-3:00 p.m., which I accepted. On June 7, I unexpectedly received a text at 1:30 p.m. stating that technician Hyrum Hatch was on the way. I didn't see the text until about 1:50 p.m., so I immediately called Accent Plumbing. Jessica answered, and I reminded her that my appointment had been moved to June 8 between 1:00-3:00 p.m. She said she remembered our conversation and that I had been unavailable from 3:00-5:00 p.m. I explained that was exactly why we had rescheduled for the following day. She placed me on hold to contact the technician and then confirmed that we would keep the agreed-upon June 8 appointment between 1:00-3:00 p.m. On June 8, I waited until 2:45 p.m. without receiving any notification that the technician was on the way, so I called Accent Plumbing for an update. Jessica answered again and told me, in a dismissive tone, that the technician would not arrive until 3:00-5:00 p.m. I explained that I had another appointment from 4:00-5:00 p.m. and asked why no one had contacted me to let me know the appointment window had changed. Rather than addressing my concern, she simply repeated multiple times that the technician would arrive between 3:00-5:00 p.m. and eventually offered to reschedule me for Friday. I rescheduled for Friday between 1:00-3:00 p.m., but was then told that the technician still might not arrive until 3:00-5:00 p.m., making the scheduled appointment window essentially meaningless. At this point, it has taken over a week just to get someone scheduled to come to my home. Communication has been poor, appointment windows have not been honored, and I had to repeatedly call the company myself to find out what was happening. If you're scheduling with Accent Plumbing, plan on keeping your entire afternoon open because the appointment window does not appear to be reliable. I was also disappointed with the customer service I received from Jessica. I found her communication to be dismissive and unprofessional, especially when I was simply trying to understand why my scheduled appointment had changed without any notice. I informed Jessica that I would be leaving this review. I ended up going with a whole new plumbing company only based off of Jessica's extremely poor customer service. Update 06/13/2026: The owner, Steve, personally called me the following Tuesday regarding my review to apologize for how the situation was handled. Before reaching out, he took the time to listen to the phone calls between Jessica and me. He explained that the issue stemmed from a scheduling error on their end that was not properly communicated to me, which ultimately caused the entire situation. Steve also acknowledged that the calls were not handled appropriately and shared that he had addressed the matter with Jessica as a learning opportunity to help ensure a similar situation doesn't happen again in the future. He also asked if there was anything else he could do to assist me, which I genuinely appreciated. I wanted to update my review because Steve's willingness to personally investigate the issue, take accountability, and follow up with me speaks volumes about his character and leadership as the owner. The written estimate they provided was one of the most confusing documents I've ever seen. It was nearly impossible to decipher what each option was and what I would be charged for. When I had questions, the said their plumbing manager would call me back in a few minutes. They never called. On top of that, the technician told me everything needed to be replaced. I got a second opinion, that plumber fixed the actual issue easily and gave me a straightforward quote on the spot. The honesty gap between the two companies was staggering. I have no idea why this place is so highly rated. Avoid them like the plague. Edit: the owned lies and claims we wanted a thankless water heater. We did not. It was just a regular water heater. Further proof this company is not one you want to do business with. Their prided "real customer experience" was their plumbing manager never calling me back to discuss the quote.

I called The Aussie Plumber after receiving an obscenely overpriced quote for a water heater conversion to a tankless system from a bigger company. Francisco was so incredibly knowledgeable, professional and personable. He explained the scope of work needed for the job, (unlike the previous company whose technician kept saying he was new to the company and didn't really know how they did things yet) and gave me a quote which included the brand of the water heater, (again, the original plumber I got a quote from did not explicitly name the brand but said it was an 85% efficiency, 4 star unit.. Aussie plumber installed a 97% efficiency unit.. there is a $600 tax credit for 95% or greater.. so there is another $600 I would have missed out on if I went with the original bid). When all was said and done, I got the new water heater installed same day for THOUSANDS less plus the $600 tax credit. Extremely questionable business practices. I called to…read morehave the condensate drain cleaned out and inspected. Trane Unit, 9 years old. Techs came and said the internal drain pan was rusted and leaking and couldn't be replacements because it was welded to the coil. They stated by the time everything was fixed, it just be better to replaced the unit. Water was leaking and staining the ceiling and walls and I had no time to double check what they were claiming. Photos provided were hard to decipher but showed a rusty pan. Then I got a quote for the unit replacement ($15k !) for a brand I never heard of. I should have done more research but told them to proceed. The next day two different techs show up with the unit. I mentioned to them, by the way, it never came up but the condensing unit is right behind our bedroom and if the new one is any louder than the Trane unit, I don't want it. The tech said that this brand is known for being louder than Trane and Carrier. They put me in touch with the sales guy and he said the next unit up that is quieted would be another $2k more. I said fine, proceed. In the mean time, the two techs went up to inspect the AHU. They were up there for awhile and came down and stated that the unit and auxiliary drain pan (not the primary) were pitched in the wrong direction. They adjusted everything and cleaned out the drain line and stated everything was now draining properly. When I asked about the rusted primary drain pan inside the unit, they stated it was plastic and just fine. The coil showed very minor signs of oxidation but nothing to be concerned with. So impossible for a plastic pan to be welded to the coil. I asked if they recommended replacing the unit. They said they saw no reason to. This was 2 weeks ago and all seems to be fine. So, I very nearly spent $17k on an inferior unit I didn't need. Unbelievable. These techs at Rescue One work on commission and upselling. Some have integrity. Others do not.
