Wonderful little sports bar. Sitting outside on a nice day is pure bliss. It's delicious bar food that's been kicked up a notch. We started with the pimento cheese corn dog bites and the chicken and waffle sliders. The corn dog bites were four big balls of deliciousness. The chicken and waffle sliders were a Belgian waffle cut in quarters and made into two little sliders with delicious fried chicken in the middle. The warm syrup to go with them was amazing. After that we had the big mark and the grilled cheese. Both were delicious. We finished the evening with the dunkaroo donuts. First time trying this restaurant and was excited they had a great beer selection and some good vegetarian options for dinner. It seems like the service is just very inconsistent. Sat at the bar for a drink and had good and attentive service. Once our party arrived, there was around 13 of us, service definitely changed. It felt like every time we needed something we needed to flag down our server. I understand it's a larger party but didn't really see the waitress check in with us on drinks or even with food. A few of us went to the bar to get drinks just because we couldn't find our server. The food was pretty good but the veggie burger I ordered was messy. Would order with the sauce on the side as there was entirely too much. If you come to this restaurant, I recommend a smaller party and sit at the bar. read more

Very delicious food, I recommend the nachos entree you won't regret it!! They are just opening this location and it's a sports bar. Also the burger was delicious!! I love that no matter where you are sitting at there's a TV in different angles so you don't have to worry about messing out or having to turn at certain angles to watch the TV. The only thing that sucks is that the parking spaces are limited but you are able to park by the bank for $7.35 but it may vary that's how much it cost when I went. read more

This is to rate the terrible service, we left before trying the food. We arrive at 1130 to Irbys for Sunday brunch, we ordered and after 30 mins we inquire and the bartender lets us know it's on the way. By this time a couple that came at the same time already ate and left and a couple that came after received food. When waitress comes she sees we are getting ready to leave and asks "do we want in to go boxes". We sit back down to eat since food came and said it took 30 mins and she lets us know "I only have 2 hands". We walk out. At the time 1 guy working, 2 bartenders (1 in training) and our waitress. In the whole restaurant was our family and another couple, you would think service would be somewhat decent if your this slow and a new restaurant. Good luck to the owner but that waitress will ruin your business, sorry I didn't get her name. read more

I couldn't be happier with Irby's coming to Buckhead. The building is much brighter and more inviting than the past business. The patio is great! Trivia is a good time and Doug is super friendly! Every server I've had has been amazing and have also had a great attitude. I have found my "Cheers"! :) I've tried several things on the menu and have not been disappointed. It's unlike many other bar menus. The tuna tartare is fresh and yummy and the burgers are delish! Go for the pudding dessert...you won't be disappointed! read more

Great spot to do happy hour - tons of great beers on tap with some local favorites. Haven't tried the snacks yet but the menu looks great. The only suggestion I'd make is to turn the music down a bit - couldn't have a conversation in there last time we went because it was too loud! read more

I've tried this place 3 times and wanted to wait before writing a negative review. But I honestly don't know how this place stay's in business. The one time I successfully obtained a meal at Irby's. I was with co-workers so we decided to stick it out. Our server let us know they were out of chicken wings and when we ordered burgers she told us they were out of burgers too. we could get nachos or poppers with queso. I returned by myself and sat at the bar on a weekend to watch a game. I sat for maybe 15 minutes, made eye contact and smiled at the bartender, watched the 3 bartenders serve drink to other people seated at the bar and the waitstaff but for some reason I could not get anyones attention. The TV sound was extremely sound and maybe they didn't recognize me as a regular. I son't know what the reason what because I made several attempts to say hello or get a drink. Me and my friend came to Irby's for lunch today, our bartendress, Desi, went above and beyond and made us feel right at home. Food was amazing, I had the chicken wrap 10/10 would recommend! Our experience here was terrible. We were here on a Sunday morning and the place was pretty quiet. 2 people in our part of 6 ordered their "bottomless mimosas." Our server was pretty attentive from about 1pm until 2:30 and then we did not really see her. Bottomless ended at 3 and we waited for her to come back and check on us, this did not happen. Around 2:50 one of our friends went to the bar and asked if we could get another round before 3. ( we were the only ones drinking them in the bar and again there were only 2 people) We were told they were completely out and it was basically 3 and that's when it ended. We spoke with the manger and 1 person received $2.40 off their bottomless price, the other had to pay full price. Again from 3-4 we did not see our server, no water refills, no opportunity to order more food or drinks....she was MIA! ( Or talking with her friends at the bar) Around 4pm we asked for our checks. Upon getting our checks they had added a 20% large group fee to our cards. This was stated no where in the restaurant and again we were not told before we sat down. We again asked the manager about this and they said " We are printing new menus with it on it." He again discounted 1 person and expected the rest to pay the fee. Overall the service was just terrible. It is a fun atmosphere but based on the service and management I would not be returning or recommending to a friend. read more

We went there on Sunday to watch the final game of the FIFA World Cup. There was no one to greet us, no indication of what to do to get a table. We sat at a table to eat outside. No one came by to assist us even though an employee saw us. After 10 minutes, we got up and left. Incredibly poor service so never got a chance to review the food. Good luck. read more

My husband and I were in Atlanta for a work thing, and needed a place to watch the Iowa game (Go Hawks!). We found Irby's close to our hotel and decided to give it a try. I'm so glad we did! First of all, you know it's hard to get a manager to change a TV to a game you want to see, especially if it's not a local team. We asked the hostess, who it turns out is one of the owners, and in a few minutes they has us at a table and had the TV in sight changed to the channel where the game was about to start. Bonus points for sure! The waitress was great, everyone working there was so friendly, and the decor is nice. We had chicken tenders and nachos- both good. Be aware, if you're looking for lunch on a Saturday/Sunday you can't get it at Irby's. They serve brunch until 3:00. Just ridiculous (and easy to not see as its only listed on page 4 of the menu list, below where you view the regular menu). The couple next to us clearly didn't know this fact either. Awesome tavern/pub/sports bar. Between our huge group we tried half the menu and found the food to be so much better than normal pub food - one could be very happy dining here and not having to drink an alcoholic bev.! ( me). My husband and I have been twice now and are big fans. First, the history behind Irby's Tavern name is very cool and is printed on menu. The burger is incredible! The whole menu is very inventive building in some twists on classic tavern food. The beverage menu is well thought out (personally love the Stoller rose). Highly recommend! read more
