I am glad that this is the top review for now, it is IMPORTANT that people know why there are almost as many one star as five star reviews, People who gave it a 5 star review gave it because he was one of the cheaper repairers and he did it quickly and as one said he was friendly when you first met him, but oh, my if the computer/phone fail after the repair or worse, it came up with problems it did NOT have before the repair, it's a different story. In some of his responses to people that wrote a negative review as he was very snarky, accusing the person of lying i.e. saying they must have dropped it as a computer screen doesn't crack on his own, I know of an incident in my condo complex, when someone's balcony window shattered on it's own. I had my screen replaced and a couple of weeks later, there was some rainbow that came on my screen before the home page came on, it was very erratic as it wouldn't always happen and the screen eventually came on, I was worried that if I came and it worked ok, I would look stupid. This started two weeks after I got it repaired, there was a 30 day warranty but after about a month I used it less and less and the screen stayed blank or had a rainbow longer and longer so eventually I couldn't get any picture. When I brought it back to him, he said what he said to many people on here with that problem, I must have broken the LCD, even though the screen was not cracked in any way. I tried to be nice about it and told he could keep it, maybe it needs only a small fix and he can make more money selling it for a higher price, just refund my money but he didn't seem interested. The moral of the story is, read the negative reviews also and do not just read 5 star reviews, read the reviews of people who also had ONE star reviews with repair issues sometimes with problems they didn't have BEFORE they got it fixed, better to pay a little more to someone who has a longer guarantee because in the long run, you will pay less. He said I could leave it there to get fixed but one reviewer did AND paid more and then OTHER problems which their device didn't have before the repair cropped up. read more

The worst experience I have had at any business, 1 star is generous. Got the back glass repaired but came back in worse condition than I returned it. There were 2 spots where paint was scraped off, the glass wasn't flush so glue was coming out of the side, the sides weren't smooth, and there is a gap between the phone and the glass. Worst of all, the phone came back defective, resetting every minute so I had to bring it back for him to fix it. When I asked about the scratches he said it happens due to the laser, so I asked if he scratches phones regularly and he said i happens a lot!! A really honest great guy. Support this local business! Its a little hard to find, upstairsin the strip mall next to the 7-11 on the corner Madrona and Torrance Blvd. I thought I needed a new screen for my Iphone 13 but only the screen protector had cracked and the crack had not gone down to the phone screen. He peeled off the protector and examined the phone carefully and told me it was fine. He wasnt going to charge me anything but I bought a new protector and asked him to put it on. So instead of $200, I came away having spent $25. So glad there are still honorable business people out there. read more

By Sunday, the cheap quality screen they put on his phone had a large crack again without anything else happening to the phone. DO NOT RECOMMEND 0/5 My older brother bought a $50 service from Groupon to fix an iPhone 7 Plus for my younger brother. His appointment was at 10am and they arrived at 9:50am. My older brother called the owner to inform him of their arrival and the call wasn't returned until 10:30am when my brother was already home, so he rescheduled for 1pm. I had to go to the new appointment with my you get brother because my older brother had to go to work and I arrived on time. The owner had very poor customer service as soon as we arrived. He didn't even greet us. He finally helped us at 1:15pm because he was fixing another phone and said it would take 30 minutes to fix before we left. What I was unaware of at the time is that he closes the business between 1:30-3:30pm. We returned to pick up my little brother's phone at 2pm because I expected him to take longer, given the fact that I initially had to wait an additional 15 minutes to be supported. When we arrived the door was closed and I saw that his business hours indicated that he was not there at that time so I called and left him a message. He did not respond so I decided to text him to ask when he'd be returning. He proceeded to project the blame onto me stating that "he was waiting until 1:30" which I replied the following: "We arrived on time to our appointment at 1. You told my brother over the phone that it would only take 30 mins. We dropped off the phone and left at 1:15 and you told us to be back in 30 mins knowing that your break begins at 1:30. It was bad math on your behalf and I wish you would have communicated this to us sooner so we wouldn't have to wait as long as we are now" (see pictures below for full conversation). While we were waiting an extra 2 HOURS we decided to look at Yelp and Groupon reviews (which my older brother did not do in advance) and we realized that this is a common pattern that customers complained about. We also noticed that customers with lower ratings had technical issues 1-5 months after he fixed the device such as not being able to charge the device, blacked out screen, and glitches. We also kept in mind that he offers a one month warranty policy in case there is an technical issues. At this point, I could not do anything since he redeemed my brother's Groupon voucher and he had his phone. All I could do was advocate from my little brother to have a working phone and ask questions. When we arrived at 3:35pm he was helping other customers and it was apparent that the customer service was better for them (customer was a tall man, I'm sure that had something to do with it). He helped us after and told us to wait 20 minutes so we stayed in the waiting area. Once he gave us the phone I told my little brother to inspect it (given the bad reviews) and everything seemed fine at the time. He didn't even mention the warranty until after I asked (THANKS YELP). While turning on my car, my brother's phone started glitching so we went back to get it fixed. We explained what happened and he immediately replied "already?" (as if this happens often, to the point where it's expected). He inspected the phone himself and said something along the lines of "I don't see anything wrong with it but ok." He proceeded to fix it as we stayed in the waiting area. After he was done my brother inspected his phone again and noticed that he was not able to tap on a part of the screen. I told him to show the owner and he said "was that working before you brought it" in which I exclaimed "yes!" So he had to fix it again. FINALLY, my brother got his phone back and it worked so we left around 4:10pm. All in all, he was extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate of my time as a customer because the entire experience took 3 hours when it was only suppose to be 30 mins (according to what he initially told my older brother). NOT WORTH ANY STAR. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!!!! First repair: after 2 weeks, the LCD black screen with no external damages to the screen. Owner Jason Tran claimed it was an internal damage, therefore no warranty. My husband went ahead and paid for the 2nd repair and also bought their screen protector. Second replacement: after 2-3 weeks, the LCD was slow in response to key entries. Then after the month, it blacked screen again. Called up again to ask about warranty. Owner said it's up to 30-days warranty and with no damages to the LCD. I told him there are no damages. Pls see my pictures and tell me if you see any physical damages to the LCD or the phone itself! Understand this, my 14, now 15yrs child had this phone for 2.5 years without any problem until she cracked her screen. Within 2 months and 2 repairs, the same problem occurred - LCD black screen. Man this guy "fixed" my daughter's phone now the iPhone 11 is completely broken. We couldn't leave the store using the phone. This man wouldn't give her her money back because not only was the phone not fixed it just doesn't work anymore. He put a screen on her phone that didn't even fit the whole screen. So we go to have him fix it and he tries to charge her $80 for a new screen! Very rude and unprofessional. I had my screen fixed, battery replaced and screen protector installed. He did it in a timely matter about 30 minutes. While picking up the phone I noticed a air bubble on screen protector. I asked for him to fix it he replied it's just dust I can't fix it it's not a big deal. I was very nice to owner Jason but he doesn't smile and is not the most friendly or positive , so I immediately got a bad feeling , but proceeded cuz prices were cheap . Now I wish I hadn't because I gave him two chances to fix my iPhone XS Max and both times didn't function right . In fact my screen fell about in a few days after repair and I could see the inside of iPhone ! I called and he kept blaming me and accusing me of dropping the phone when I in no way did !
