    MacBook Air 2020 Retina - space gray. Screen fixed!

    I'm so glad I came here. There was two small cracks on the right corner of my MacBook screen that made the right part of my screen blacked out. I went to Apple and they quoted me $448 without tax to repair this. I immediately started looking for alternatives and luckily I found IRepair. The service was great! Their response time is so fast and they fixed my screen within an hour!! Apple would've taken 5 business days. I was also only charged $280 which is a great price. Thank you so much Jason, I'm very happy with this. I would definitely recommend coming here.

    I called in due to great reviews. My call was answered in a timely manner customer service was amazing over the phone. Pricing was great! My cracked phone screen replacement took less than 30 minutes. I will be saving this location as my go to for tech repair.I will be a returning customer. Finding a trustworthy phone repair store is not easy. I posted the phone after the repair because that's how fast the service was. I forgot to take the picture. Happy satisfied customer.

    Good customer service but they couldn't fix our laptop because it was the mother board. So if you have this problem, go somewhere else.

I cracked my phone screen in December, and came here to get it fixed after reading all of the positive reviews. The initial correspondence was easy. I told Jon the type of phone I had, he quoted me $180 to fix it. It is important to know that when I asked how much it would costs, he said "$180". No other context was offered. I was happy with the price and let him fix it. Five minutes into getting my phone back, I noticed that my screen would glitch every time I opened certain app.s Then I noticed that the screen kept freezing, and I would have to restart my phone to get it to work. I immediately went back to Jon and told him about the issues, and he said he would fix it and get me a new screen within a few days. Once again, I picked up my "fixed" screen for the second time, only for it to have the same issues I was having before, just a little less frequently. Frustrated, I went back to Jon a third time and asked what was going on. He said I bought the "generic" version for $180 and that I could upgrade to a high quality option for more money that would not have these issues. I asked him why didn't he inform me of the different versions that were available when we first spoke, and he said that he assumed I wanted the cheapest version. I can only imagine that he made this assumption because I am a Black woman. It is absurd, insulting and bad business to assume what someone is willing to pay for when you are in a sales position. He then proceeded to tell me that all of the glitches, freezing and malfunctions were normal with the "generic" version, and that I would continue to experience these issues that were rendering my phone inoperable unless I upgraded to a higher quality version. Nothing of this information was offered when I initially returned the phone for issues. As a customer I don't understand why you would sell a product that you know does not work. My screen was "fixed" yet I wasn't able to use my phone for more than 5 minutes without if freezing, glitching or shutting down. This is not a fix. Furthermore, I was not initially given the option to buy a new screen that would actually work. I told him he was a scam artist and left. The 100-day warranty they offer is because they know that their products do not work and you will experience many issues. I would not recommend letting Jon fix your phone unless you plan to waste money on a phone that does not work.

When we came to pick up the iPad, the screen looked absolutely pristine, but it started doing some weird things on its own. Harry was immediately super apologetic and insisted on keeping it to make things right. Since it was close to closing time, I fully expected to come back the next day -- but within about 30 minutes, Harry called to let us know he had fixed the issue and everything was working perfectly again! This level of customer service is hard to find. Harry has actually repaired several of our teenagers' devices over the years, and every experience has been great. I genuinely hope this individual no longer works here and that it was just a one-off bad worker--unless, of course, he is actually the owner of the establishment. Either way, the experience was so terrible I feel compelled to share it. I called this shop multiple times beforehand to get a quote for a cracked screen repair. The technician assured me it could be fixed and recommended going with the aftermarket glass. After assessing it in person, he confirmed the plan, took the phone, and told me it would take about an 1-2 hours. When I returned, the phone was completely taken apart. Suddenly, the story changed. He claimed the back case also needed to be replaced to fit the new screen--something he specifically assured me wasn't necessary before he started. He also said that there was something wrong with the front facing camera, which it didn't before I gave it to him. He quoted a new price for the extra work that almost equaled the cost of a brand-new phone. Because the extra cost didn't make sense, I told him to just put the phone back together, offer a fair price for his time, and I'd just buy a new phone instead. (The phone was fully functional before this; it literally just had a cracked glass). He completely refused to reassemble the phone unless I paid for both the new rear case and the glass. He basically held my device hostage, forcing me into a costly repair under his terms, or forcing me to walk out with a completely disassembled, non-functional phone. I felt backed into a corner and had no choice but to pay. Unprofessional, dishonest, and predatory business practices. Avoid at all costs.

As requested, my uncle decided to hire my stepmother to help me fix my MacBook before it's too late. At the beginning of May, the day had come to send my device to the iFixForU shop where only 2 boys were working. My stepmother asked one of the workers to see if they wouldn't mind fixing my device. But instead, they accused me of ruining my device by adding one last sentence "nobody's gonna help you", which sounded like my life is already over. I'm sorry, but that treatment they gave me was unfair and unacceptable, and I have never trusted that smile the worker had; it's humiliating. Having had enough, I can tell that their service didn't do me a favor, so I had no choice but to send my MacBook to Di-No Computers in the following month. Since I vowed never to visit that shop again, the technicians working for iFixForU get 2 choices: Improve their treatment or get fired. I brought it back to Gadgetneeds to explore solutions. While I was telling the reps what happened one of them asked me "do I believe I the words I say? You must have done other damage to it." I told them that it is really bad business to insist that a customer is lying, and that I refused to pay $350 again to only be faced with the same issue in 4 months.
