I came in at the exact appointment time, and to my surprise Jerry, the manager was there waiting for me. Dropped off the phone to him, he told me to come back in 30-45 minutes. He didn't give me any paper or receipt, so I felt a bit worried since there was no proof I left it with him but I did so anyways. Came back 45 minutes later and there was Jerry waiting for me again, showed me the phone and it was a brand new screen, worked even better than before and i was out the door in a few minutes. I was unable to recover data from them in different ways. Disc one was an external drive that would not power on. I tried removing it from its external enclosure and powering it from another, more different enclosure to no avail. The system was indeed down. Disc two was an internal drive that used to be my C drive- my boot drive. I removed it from an old computer after it stopped booting and put it into an external enclosure. Several different computers (Mac & PC) would recognize it sporadically, though none could access the data on it- error codes always came up. Before I removed it, from the old computer, I tried booting from an optical disc and other assorted methods, many other assorted methods... I believe I was very thorough in my efforts. I sent both in and received near 100% recovery. They said it was 100% from one and 99.9% from the other but I am unable to find that .1%. I got all of this for just barely above the $300 price in their name (each, not total). So for about $600 total (including new discs on which my recovered data was transferred and return shipping) I got this incredible service. The total price I paid for both discs at 300DDR is less than I was quoted at several other places for one disc. At each step they were great communicators, from their receipt of the discs to my receipt of the recovered data. I hope I never need their services again but should, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. I highly recommend them.
