Bought a iPad to do my art and work on from Allen a couple months ago. After I get home I notice places of the screen doesn't work. Which he never said anything about. I tell him about it, he tells me to take the screen protector off, so I do. And nope still doesn't work. I tell him about it and he says he can check it out but then rarely answers my texts. He eventually gave me half my money back (surprising). He said he wouldn't give the full amount cause he wasn't on shift. So if you get anything from this guy (which you shouldn't) be nice and buy it when he is on the clock (??) Lmao which also he seems to go out every weekend somewhere and owns a little business so can can obviously afford giving me all my money. Which I on the other hand wouldn't say I struggle with money but I worked hard to get it. And now I don't have an iPad or half my money I wasted. :) thanks Allen!! A few weeks ago, I was having problems with a full C: drive and used yelp to try to connect with a repair service. I received 3 replies from 3 different service providers. I made an appointment with Computer Corner, and then I received a follow-up message from another business with a contact name Allen D. It read, "Yeah, we are much better than Computer Corner. I followed my plan and took my computer into Computer Corner. Between me, my wife and the kiddo, we have about 25 years of iPhone usage between us and had never broken a screen. Blammo - streak broken. So, what did I learn from having to replace a screen? 1. No one really wants to work in the iPhone screen repair business. A lot of "come to me" and "we don't work Sundays" was whined from people. 2. Mobile means they will kind of come to a place that is convenient for them and kind of in the same area code as you. A lot of "mobile" repair places "won't meet you there" or "aren't going to be on the westside today" 3. Any place that appears to be fast and easy is STOOOPID expensive. Why am I going to pay $150 to fix a phone, when I can just find another one like it on Craigslist for about the same money? So, even though this sounds like a negative review, I gotta tell you - Alan is the best solution to sidestep these problems. I live on the far westside (Ventana Ranch), so none of the mobile repair places would come my way to fix things. Allen was willing to meet me at a Starbucks about ten minutes away, but that was on 90 minutes notice, so that's not bad. I happened to be in the Heights, and called him up. He told me if I would come to the location he was already at, he could fix the phone in 20 minutes. Sure enough, he did. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I took my iphone 13 Pro Max to get the back glass repaired before I returned it for an upgrade. I was quoted 3 hours. My husband began calling to ask for an update, they never answered. After about 10 calls, he showed up to the store before close of business 6+ hours after dropping it off. He was told my phone was not turning on because they ruined the motherboard with the laser. My phone was not backed up at the time, and I lost 3,000+ pictures including engagement photos. My husband demanded a refund equivalent to the value of an iPhone 13 Pro Max or an equivalent replacement. They said I could wait 30 days for a new motherboard to come in, which was not an option as our service provider was waiting for the phone for trade in credit. My husband asked to speak with the owner several times but was told he was on vacation. The next day they said they had a replacement phone so went to pick it up. Upon arrival I tried to use the phone to find out it was a LOCKED phone, therefore making it ineligible to be traded in. We were told it belonged to an employee and they would "call x finity to have it unlocked since it had been payed off." Days later the phone remained locked and incompatible for service. my husband asked again to speak with the owner and was given an email address to which he never responded to. The employee refused to give a refund on the phone they destroyed and offered a loaner iPhone 12 as a replacement. This business is completely unprofessional and unethical in its standards. Cracked my phone screen and went to get it fixed here. It was dead when I got it back so I came home to charge it and the screen didn't work. Took it back the next day and when they were done with it they said that they aren't at fault for the screen not working even though the phone worked completely fine when I took it there I just wanted the screen replaced. Also it wasn't the first time I have taken my phone there to get the screen fixed. They normally charged me 60 dollars but this time my girlfriend took my phone in and they charged her 80 since she obviously didn't know any better. Yikes. I will never go back here. I came here to get my phone screen fixed. My phone hasn't worked right since they got their hands on it. Somehow in replacing it they made it so that my touch sensor is almost constantly malfunctioning. It types random letters some of the time, rapidly erases what I've typed some of the time, and even when it's "working properly", I have to lock the screen and open it back up anywhere from 1-5 times to get anything at all to type. Just the facts. I took my computer in because I dropped it on the charging cable and the charging port was broken. They charged me to diagnose the issue, and explained that I needed a new charging port. They quoted $20 for the part and $200 for labor. They also told me it wouldn't be done for a week. I wasn't happy with this, so I picked up my computer. I opened the back on the laptop, and noticed that the piece that was broken was an extremely simple fix, as in, you unplug the broken piece, and plug in the new piece. It was a fifteen minute fix, and I am by no means an expert, nor did I have the right tools. My opinion: They were going to charge me $200 to plug something in. That's like paying someone to come over and plug your vacuum in for you. Absolutely ridiculous, and almost criminal that they would charge so much. read more

The screen for my iPad Air 2 unfortunately cracked and my home button was messed up as well after the lid of my hydroflask fell on it. I called around to several places including the Apple Store and every one gave me an estimate of at least $250 with apple being $299 for a cracked screen.
